Groom Cancels Wedding Few hours To Church......

My dear stella, I trust you are fine.

Straight to the matter. 

There's this guy, he is a family friend, this guy has a problem with relationships. Sometimes we even say he is being followed from his village. So this guy eventually fell in love with one girl but one thing or the other keeps breaking them up and they keep coming back together. 

Now it time for marriage,  the guy went ‎to inform his people of his intentions. Na there wahala start.

The guys elder brother insisted he must marry someone from their village and not an outsider.

The guy refused and this problem went on for like a year.

Finally they found him a wife. The girl seeing that the family reeks of so much wealth carried her head and buried there. Before we say jack the babe has taken in for the guy hoping to tie him down with the pregnancy. 

The girls people insisted he must marry her just as the guys people insisted too. They fixed a date for the trad and a night before the trad the guy told his people he won't go through with the trad cos he doesn't love the girl that he loves the other girl they rejected. 

He even offered the pregnant girl 500k ‎so she can move on but she refused. Finally the trad happened though halfway the guy started shouting at the girl and saying he doesn't want her but people started begging him to calm down. That done.

They fixed a date for the white wedding which was this past Saturday. All of a sudden on Friday  the guy's brother called my hubby to say the guy told him not to bother coming (he stays in Abuja) cos there won't be a wedding‎. Fear catch us oooo. Around 11am the brother called again to say he was on his way that they've convinced him again. I just dey laugh.

‎On Saturday morning, we woke up to a text message from the guy saying the wedding has been canceled. 

See wahala.

 My hubby called his line, switched off. So he called the guys brother and he said the guy has been missing since Friday evening. That last he saw the guy was when he came in from Abuja, saw the guy downstairs and told him to come in so they could talk and the guy just turned and ran away. He hasn't returned since then.

‎We also learnt that the guy sent the officiating priest a text asking for forgiveness and that if he is not forgiven he will commit suicide. 

We never see the guy till today. The family has contacted the ex to know if they are together but she said no.

And you know whats worse? The bride found out about the groom when she was already in church, all dressed in her elegant wedding gown. 

Na there gist end.

Ah ah..I am sure this story will make it to the National news headline soon.The stranded wife to be,i feel so sorry for her but didnt she know that he didnt want and they were trying to convince him?..And how come the runaway groom slept with the lady he didnt love?They should have padlocked him to a corner and married them there!.....LMAO!

Proof of Ownership shipment and claim

Hello Stella,

Please i would like to use this medium to convey this message. I don't know if there are blog visitors from Benin Republic. I have been thinking of how to go about this but i just thought of using this means. 

Like 4 years ago, my former boss was into courier business such that she sent down people's cargoes down to Nigeria.  There is this shipment meant to be delivered to Cotonou but was delayed in sending cos the owner was meant to send in his contact address to be able to reach him. Along the line the shipper lost the contact. They are cartons of items including perfumes and smart collection scents, amongst other gift items. Said items are with me. 

I have contacted the shipper to try and get the owner from there, but seems she has lost touch cos the business kinda went under. I have told her that i would give out the items, but i dont feel happy doing that knowing its someone's sweat cos they are actually much. So in essence, i would like to know if there is anyone who can assist from that region. The owner's name is Kome ****** i am withholding the surname to avoid fraudsters from swooning in on this. I believe he owns a store in Cotonou. 

I just need proof from said person if i can actually get through from here, the state in the US that it was shipped from and the total number of cartons, otherwise i will just start using the items as gift items for people sha.

Dear  Stella, my name is onyi and i need your help. I school in the Philippines. I came here when my dad was alive but two years to my stay here i lost him. QUESTION OF LIFE.

Dearest blognalist I hail o! My dear Bvs I throway salute. Please I need an opinion about an issue in my 'yard'. My neighbor's first child is almost 3yrs old, she has an unusual attachment to her father, I noticed some months back that this man bath with his daughter. Its a face me I slap you setting o. If this man wants to bath at night, he will take his daughter along into the bathroom.

  He takes the girl out too! Even when he goes to his smoking and drinking joint, he will take the girl along. Now my question is, should I say something to the girl's mother or the father himself? Should a man bath with his 2yrs + daughter? Or should I just #Unlook?

CALLING OUT MY ELDER SISTER(S) -

 Hi Stella, I must confess i really like your style of blogging. Am an ardent reader of your blog but I really don't know the category this

post belongs, whether chronicle or a post on it's own. Anyhow just help me post it.

I want to call out my elder sister who is also a blog visitor. 

I'm a lady and will be 23 this year but I am really frustrated, depressed and tired of life because of the way my family treats me especially my sister. I'm not yet through with school and I'll further by next year, so I'm still at home.

 All my life, I have a particular dream of which i know I will achieve. I have passion for it and as a matter of fact, I don't think i can live without it. The problem here is that, my elder ones have been

controlling my life till now. I live the most boring life you can ever think of. I can't just go out, be happy and have fun like my mates do

because I have to obey the rules, and stay at home for 24 hours except on sundays that we go to church. 

There was a time I wanted to visit my

aunt in another state but they refused. Simply because none of my immediate family is there to keep an eye on me.

To be frank, I'm already a walking corpse. Last year I told my  sister about my ambition and

she threatened to disown me if i ever mention it again. I was reported even to the extended families and what I went through is a story for

another day. 

My sister believes am being  controlled by witches and wizard from our village. She said a girl of my age should be thinking of getting married, having kids and a family of my own, not pursuing any

useless dream. My sister is a graduate and i keep wondering why she believes marriage is the peak of a lady's life. I made her to understand that a lady's life does not revolve around marriage.

 I really need to pursue my dream now that am still young. There are some certain things a lady can't do after marriage because she has a lot of

responsibilities to take care of. Honestly, I'm not thinking of settling down anytime soon and i've told her severally. Settling down without a

degree and a job is a no for me. 

I have had it up here and can no longer take it. I know you are reading this now and I also know I will be in a very big trouble after this but i really don't care anymore.

I'm not trying to be stubborn but if things remain the same, something might happen. Just have it at the back of your mind that am doing this

with my eyes wide open and not any witch or wizard. 

Stella and blog visitors,please help me plead with my sisters to stop caging me and allow me pursue my dream and my career. They should allow me make decisions on my own. One man's food is another man's poison. 

Let me rest my case!

AMEBO GIST

.......So we went to church this Sunday, and as the service was about to close we were to give offerings for the guest speaker to support his missionary works.

The man (guest) is old and still traveling around the world changing and saving lives.
The man that brought the offering basket to the front is a white elderly man in his late 50's and you can't believe he has a gun at the back of his pant. I think his suit was covering it before. My church is mixed of all races and continents because it is big. My husband then said it has come to the state where Americans now bring gun to church because of the people killed in church in South Carolina. This incident reminds me of what happened in Nigeria.

I just left my sister's place and was going to my dad's house, so along the way, police stopped us. I was driving and my boys were in the back seat.
You know Naija police and their big guns. Immediately I rolled down the window and the policeman movde closer to me with that their dumbbell they called guns, my 4 years plus just unlock his seatbelt and move closer to poke his face forward. There I knew the policeman has to give some answers.

The policeman greeted me "madam good afternoon" and I replied him, he should have just face me and ask what he wanted, but instead he said hello to my boy too, that is where wahala start.

My son told him that was a big gun and asked why he was carrying it. Before the policeman could mutter a word, my son asked him if he wanted to shoot his mum, him and his brother? The policeman told him no, that he is a policeman.

Maybe my son didn't hear his reply I don't know. He just started preaching to the policeman that only bad people carry guns, and those that carry guns are not Jesus' friends but devil.

I took pity on the policeman and told my son it was okay, but my son told me didn't I tell him good babies don't play with guns ( because that was what I told them, when we went to the store and they wanted to pick a toy gun for themselves).

The policeman just told me "madam dey go" without even asking for my license or registration. I kept laughing till I got home.

Feed back from the cocktail training

The training went well though the turn was a bit low (I guessed the rain stopped people from coming). Madam Olamide was such a wonderful host, she took her time to teach how to mix different types of cocktail (alcoholic and non alcoholic). There was room for interactions were we bvs got to gist about the blog and other things. What tripped me most was when madam laide served us hot jollof rice *side eye at stella*, Served with cocktail,wow! 

I was like lunch included for the token we paid. After lunch we all then invented our own cocktail with our own recipes which even made the class more intresting cos we heard all kinds of funny names like 'doctors on the run', 'apple on fleek' etc. 

Then we scored ourselves at the end of the class. So this is to say thank you to Olamide for teaching us so many recipes for token, may God continue to announce your business to the world,

IF I WAS A LADY....

Biko, Aunty Stella. I don't plan to be a transgender. I just find this pix funny each time I come across it on my phone and I decided to share it with you and my fellow Bvs.

This is the real me on the left and on the right is what I look like after make up. I actually took a lady's role on stage when there was no one to take the role perfectly back in school days.

 It was a stage play (mime) for the song, 'Akinyele' by Asa. Guess what, I got a standing ovation from the audience for my performance on stage that day. At the end of the performance, I removed the head gear to take take a bow, the audience was amazed. Eheheh

In other news, I recieved N5000 alert for the 'Breast Milk Amebo Gist'. I appreciate the sender and all who voted for the gist. May the Lord continue to uplift the sender and bless everyone on this blog. Thank you so much.
