Medical emergencies can happen to anybody, anywhere, anytime…. Get trained, Stay Prepared and Save a Life!
- Did you know that it’s not healthy to tell someone bleeding from the nose to raise his head up and backwards in order to stop the bleeding?
- Did you equally know that it’s not proper to give water to someone that is choking while eating in order to stop the choking?
- Did you also know that it’s not acceptable to put spoon or stick in the mouth of someone convulsing in order to save him from dying?
- Did you know that it’s wrong to rub palm oil or engine oil on someone who has suffered from burns?
- Finally, if someone is unconscious, it is wrong to pour water on him. The right thing to do is to keep him in a recovery position (if he is breathing) or start CPR immediately (if he is not breathing)
Unfortunately in Nigeria, most of us comfortably do the wrong things most times.
What is the solution?
Golden Hour Medics is here to offer First Aid training services that will help reduce the number of deaths as a result of poor First Aid care people receive immediately after an accident from the people around. Our team is made up of well trained Medical Doctors, Nurses, and Paramedics in Emergency Medical Services.
We train people on how to manage the following medical emergencies:
- Unconsciousness without breathing … CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation),
- Choking while eating,
- Sudden seizure in adults & children,
- Ingestion of poisonous or toxic substances,
- Dislocation and fractures,
- Burns (electric, flames, steam and chemical burns),
- Bleeding from cuts and stabs,
- Animal bites & stings,
- Head injuries etc
Our training can be done at the comfort of your Office/School/Home or at any of our training centers around you. Our training is quite practical and comes with videos to enable our clients remember the skills with ease.
We train:
- Parents – in case their children or spouses have a medical emergency at homes,
- Older children – in case their younger siblings or parents have a medical emergency,
- School Teachers – in case their students have a medical emergency while in school,
- Nannies & Caregivers – in case the children they look after have a medical emergency,

ReplyDeleteThat's very Good
ReplyDeletehmmm... quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteAre these the same pple that posted this HSE stuff sometime last month. So despite the number of BVs that pleaded that you at least tell us the right thing to do, you still made the exact same mistake, except maybe it's not a mistake. Tell us what to do in case of minor emergencies, pple that want to pay for ur training will still pay.
ReplyDeleteYou don't know how many lives u will save with that kind of information. Na beg I dey beg.

These people again. Telling people what they have been doing wrong without correcting them.
ReplyDeleteWe know you need to make money but sometimes dropping a few tips on the right things to do in some situations could encourage people to come out for the actual training.
Abeg free them na. There are loads of sites that deal with emergency situations/hazards and youtube got various video channels which we can lookup. Again it's not easy explaining some of these things... Godbless
ReplyDeleteVery nice tips, especially on the things we used to do here in Nigeria thinking it's the right thing. Thanks Stella for giving birth to this blog, more Greece to your elbow.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the colored mannequins for this demonstration? Make it relevant by using images that are close to the customers outlook/environment to drive the message home. Just saying.
