Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has stated that he would not join other Nigerians criticising President Muhammadu Buhari for reportedly saying that age might limit his performance.
The statement which has drawn nationwide criticisms from Nigerians, has gotten an opposite reaction from Fayose who earlier called for the president’s disqualification over his age.
According to DailyPost, Governor Fayose through his spokesman has urged Nigerians to pray for the President instead of attacking him.
“No, no, we cannot talk like that, but all that we owe the President is to pray for him to be able to do the demands of his office,” the governor’s spokesman, Mr. Lere Olayinka said yesterday while addressing the press.
“Election is gone, and all that was done in the past is past and the time for election campaign is gone,” he added.
Nice one coming from Fayose and i definitely agree with him on this one!
Fayose really
ReplyDeleteWe will pray as well as criticise. Criticism will keep him in his toes.
DeleteYour comment will be visible after approval
Oh no, he needs to ask PMB for forgiveness.
DeleteOshoko 1 that's nice
ReplyDeleteThat is the glorious truth. The encumbered ancient kingdom is stifling me. No tush babes,no young married ones too. Can I endured the pain from these steely hard ons? Any bv in this town pls? Smallish, neat, and sexy between 20 n 25. If married, not more than 40 pls.
ReplyDeleteSo Fayose can actually tell Nigerians to pray for Buhari
ReplyDeletewith all those stinker publications he made about his age, health etc during the campaign
orisirisi... anyway Nigeria politics, the more you look, the less you see
That's why I laugh when people carry these politicians matter for head. Mudslinging is normal in everyday politics. Which was what Fayose played on. Quite interesting I must say
Deleteabi
ReplyDelete#GODWIN™
I agree he needs our prayers but let's be sincere he should have thought of this before campaigning. That's the problem with we Nigerians we leap before we look. Power hungry seeking men
ReplyDeleteOld age is not a death sentence as we all will someday grow old.
ReplyDeleteBut, it differs in the case of Buhari cos he's a leader...Have you all bothered to ask why he was absent at the meeting he was supposed to hold with Apc members on the day of the inauguration of the 8th senate? Old man was still very much asleep when everyone was at the venue waiting for him.
No one can fight nature.
How can he be asleep when he came back to the country that same morning from a foreign trip? U tink if he wanted to sleep, he wouldn't have done so during the journey home inside the aircraft?
DeleteAfukwana akuko ifo.
Can't belive he said this!
ReplyDeleteDis same dat insulted Buhari and called him all sorts of names, even wishing him dead.i think dis Fayose is Mad or sick.He Shd wait his Punishment still awaits him.If GEJ had won d 2015 Fayose will not slow himself down he would have been speaking fire now.
ReplyDeleteThat's politics for you....
DeleteAbeg leave Fayose,we like am like that....
You don't understand politics then.
DeleteIn a democratic government u cannot just punish a person because they exercised their freedom and right of speech. Not that I support this man and his watery mouth that can be annoying sometimes, but I keep reading comments from people, saying Buhari will jail this or that because of what happened during their campaign. That's gibberish. He cannot use his authority as a President to punish anyone. I think people should stop painting Buhari in that light.
DeleteSisi eko, I think u are d only objective supporter I've seen on dis blog.
Delete@ sis Eko, I agree with you, most of the people saying Buhari will jail that, jail this are children, this is a democratic govt, you cannot do that, the will of the people will prevail. No one is proven guilty until a court of law finds the person guilty. See Kashamus case, APC is finding it difficult extracting that man, as long as the case is still in court, nobody can do anything to him. The world is a global village now, you can't ship him in a crate like they did to Umaru Dikko, human rights people will have a field day. Una no see say Britain don comot hand, leave the matter for America. Thank God for Internet o jare.
Delete@AAO: Obviously you don't understand the game. In politics there are no permanent friends and enemies. Fayose is supporting his president and I think this is a good move for him. @Sisi Eko: I always love you comments because it portrays intelligence and maturity.
DeleteU rite eka. Sisi well said.
DeleteNa small pikin dem full dis blog
yada yada yada yada
Whrs dat money making fool?

Dis same dat insulted Buhari and called him all sorts of names, even wishing him dead.i think dis Fayose is Mad or sick.He Shd wait his Punishment still awaits him.If GEJ had won d 2015 Fayose will not slow himself down he would have been speaking fire now.
ReplyDeleteThat was the campaign era biko, they've all moved on.
DeleteEven buhari no vex for am sef, cool down, that's politics for u
DeleteSharap dia. Mumu
Delete**Adaorah**
He definitely knows where his bread is being buttered.
ReplyDeleteNow they are all clamoring old age old age....... una no know wen una de do campaign de run 720 degrees to put him there abi? Buhari is on that seat for a reason and once it is achieved, even if na only 100days he stay, im go comot either by force or voluntarily so u pple should leave baba one chance alone.... after all my great grand father is more than 100 and he is a palm wine tapper.
ReplyDeleteOh o, olori, help me ask them oh. I'm watching in 3D, drama still plenty. Let me call President Michelle of West Germany o jare. Lwkmd
DeleteHow can we be praying for what the man has denied saying?
ReplyDeleteAbi o
DeleteNa we beg am make im use im mouth talk sey Im don old
ReplyDeleteHelp us ask the grand father, we suppose dey him house dey rest. Coincidentally he's in Daura right now, he said he went for Ramadan. Aisha is even more visible than our president, and she's dragging Osunbade's wife, oops I mean Osibajo's wife with her. Maybe is a figment of my imagination, Osibajo's wife kind of looks sad, like, what have we gotten ourselves into, Yemi.
DeleteSure. Even the bible wants us to do so.
ReplyDeleteGood morning everyone. Have a fruitful day ahead.
Good for them...
ReplyDeleteI have not finished praying for my self na to pray for an old man wey don chop life finish...
ReplyDeleteAbeggi...
Queen and boss of somebody's blog, shut up your toto there. How did he chop life finish?
DeleteLmao. Abi oh. Anything he wants to do or wants to happen should, why will I waste my prayers on him.
DeleteI hear, pmb no knw say old age done show face when he wan kill himself unto presido mata? He has won so he should do d needful as promised, old age is not an excuss become d old age did not suddenly surface, he knew he was old all d while he was ranting and making promises to Nigerians so he has to deliver.
ReplyDeleteWho ask him.
ReplyDeleteFayose is scared I see why is he singing a different tone already. Elewon mo oga e
ReplyDeletePlease educate yourself, nobody, I mean nobody can jail fayose, for what. This is not a military era please, this is a democratic government. I can see most people don't know their rights, sad. Until a court of law finds him guilty, no one can jail him, moreover he's a serving governor, he has immunity my dear, unless Ekiti law makers impeach him. Educate yourself please and people should stop saying Buhari will jail people
DeleteSmh.. politics is really a dirty game
ReplyDeletePray for him? For what bloody reason? He is old and so what, our grandmother's and grandfather's are also old, didn't he knw he was old before he started chasing presidency, now he's the president he wants to make excuses when he has not even started doing anything yet,he shouldn't have made so much noise during d campaign and throwing meaningless promises left, right, front, back and center and shouting "change change change" baba you had better fulfil all those promises if not Nigerians will have your head,it is then you will see Nigerians changing their mouth and start comparing him to GEJ or saying that GEJ was better
ReplyDeleteI concur! I never pray for myself finish,na to begin pray for a man who should be retired from anything governance. The day this country will have a young man of abt 40yrs as a civilian president is d day things will start happening. All these old bag of bones won't leave d younger generation to take over.
DeleteEvery mallam with his kettle! He knows that all his words and actions are being watched so he is being careful!
ReplyDeleteTheir cup of coffee!!!
ReplyDeleteDear God, please keep Buhari alive and strong to complete his tenure. We don't want a short man as president at least for now. Amen.
ReplyDeleteLol. @ I have not finished praying for myself.08:52. So funny. Those things are not important, they' re mere words that was misconstrued. so much work needs to be done. That should be the focus. We' ll pray for good governance and hope things get better soon. Naijaflo.com
ReplyDeleteOkay!
ReplyDeleteFayose can start praying for him before others will follow, mtcheeeew
What Fayose is doing is actually telling Nigerians "I told you so", but since you didn't believe me and went ahead to vote for him, you all might as well get used to the situation and pray for your" Choice "to perform. Lol.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you Rose flower. You're the only person who understands Fayose's statement. This is simply his way of saying "Ntorr,I told you so"
DeleteThis is the BEST RESPONSE so far, that is what Fayose is saying without hitting the nail on the head. Na una vote for am, make una pray for am
DeleteDis fayose should keep quiet for Africa jor...and he is forming #TeamBuhari ba...after all d insult and useless death wish during d campaign period...wat does he take Nigerian for...people with short memory? (Well dats tru sha for some Nigerians) but never d less he should keep quiet....yes we well pray for buhari and wish him well...but fayose should not take nigerians for fools...maybe d Ekiti state people but not the rest of Nigeria
ReplyDeleteEnlightened people know politics of calumny is allowed during campaign. That's why the cliché no permanent friends in politics is true so my dear, nobody has short memory after all apc too had a spoiler. Cheers
DeleteU are so point.
DeleteFayose the clown.
ReplyDeleteGrand pa need's prayers.
ReplyDeleteThis is coming from Fayose? we should forget the past? heheheeee,
ReplyDeleteShebi na u start am ni? U need to ask PMB to forgive all d rubbish u ranted via social media abt him.
