Instead of me to spell, I wanted to get everything correctly so I had to use a dictionary. Immediately the teacher mentions the word, I search for it. After everything, I got 20 over 20. Teacher asked every1 to clap for me. Ha! I was feeling like the boss not knowing my friend was angry coz she scored just 5. After the day's work, she went to tell the teacher everything. The yeye teacher had to disgrace me in front of the whole school during morning assembly. And to think I told her what I wanted to do and she encouraged me to do it. She has done so many things I can't even start to talk about jare. And i'm a fake friend to her too coz I make sure I do my own back.

ReplyDeleteWhere would I start from? Is it from my Undergraduate days and how all i ever got back in return for my hand of friendship and kindness was evil plotting, ganging up, back biting, being made mockery of and the likes.
I battled with self esteem issues back then and in hindsight now I think I should have addressed that rather than accepting the verdict of depression I have been given. I only wanted a companion to confide in, not to be dependent on like a demanding child just someone who would be my friend and support but for where. Girls are just as good at use and dump like guys especially if they notice you are more well to do than they are.
I learnt my lessons as I matured and now am only cordial with people and those who try to be close I keep at arms length. So far, the fakers have all tried to add me on social media and I have rejected their requests, I have not blocked them but I have rejected so they know that I am not that person they used to know who would make excuses for their ill treatment meted out towards me whilst I suffer in silence hoping they would realise how much they hurt me.
I am much better and happier now, I still battle with depression but I am coming out strong and I know God will not leave or forsake me. Imagine one of my so called best friend then telling me that her sister does not like dark skinned girls like me so I cannot visit them at home. This is me that is the colour of eva mendes whilst she is as white as snow. Of course that was a heavy esteem breaker and I wept so bad that day. It is well sha, its now over 9 years and I thanK God sha,only God has been the true friend I ever had.

I got to know my fake friends during my challenges,some of dem later called to beg for deir wrong doing of which I forgave dem but we can't be friends as we were before cos deep inside me I know I'm done with fake friends and I'm at peace.

To me ur original factory fitted friends are dos friends uv had since like sec school, friends uv known since like d age of 10/11. U know dere ways inside out, ur families know eachoda,siblings etc. You ppl have shared d good, d bad and d ugly 2geda. Deyv built you when men have broken you down. Stayed till 3am on d fone with u,just to hear u vent on r'lshp/marriage issue.

But vengeance is of the Lord.

ReplyDeleteI'm of the opinion that friends can influence you negatively if you choose the wrong ppl, hence I hav very few friends. I made no friends in the university. Don't know if am the only one that has noticed that girls tend to be very fake in the uni. My closest friend was made in J.S 2 and we wil remain tight til forever. Love u U.C. You ma boo

Fake friend? Ok o good luck to you. The only friends I acknowledge are those that are going somewhere, cos jealousy happens when one falls by the roadside. I can't keep a friend who isn't getting on na. If u no get work, I will give you chance and not talk about my career, if u no get man I willnot discuss my relationship with you. We where all diploma students but I was lucky to gain admission first ,finished and went straight for service!any new friend I made they wiggled there way in and caused trouble , gossipd and condemned me bitterly! The story sef too long at the end they all fought themselves at that time I was in my final year and they where still looking for admission!one particular one kept snatching my boyfriends and another one travelled all the way to kaduna to sleep with a guy I was dating then! I'm sure u all come to Stella's blog and you know urselves!Bb , pat ,chichi witches of my past! God vindicated me and shamed u all loosers

DeleteWell I will say it over and over again that our real friends are those secondary school classmates of ours.. It's in high school that you make the best for friends. I experienced this at my wedding kro kro.. I see am with my two eyes say na those ones be true friends. See them making me happy while the so called friends I made and live with right now (NYSC) just planned to rubbish my day. But God pass them!!!
