Don Jazzy, Reekado Banks and B-Red were today at Babcock University to celebrate with Davido at his graduation ceremony.
Davido's father, brother and elder sister were also at the event.
The music star has however debunked earlier reports that said he graduated with a First Class Degree. In a tweet, he has declared he graduated with a Second Class Degree and not a First Class Degree.
Second class? wow!...So he still had time for school and writing exams despite his busy schedule?wow!

I know a lot of boys who picked up their weed smoking habit from that Babcock University. The school should really look into that matter because it is very rampant there.

ReplyDeleteI believe when you are a celebrity, certain rules won't apply to you. It happens everywhere in the world. Why don't we just congratulate him and stop acting like he has done what none of us did when we all where in school. At least he still had sense to ensure he got a degree.

ReplyDeleteNobody care about 1st or 2rd class what's important is you've got a good result and have shown youths out there that it's important to have education as you pursue your dream in entertainment or other fields at least at the end one can fall back to something.
SDK in his case is called preferential treatment, he is a star so his dean and university will understand even many university will be glad to have him as their student.

ReplyDelete@ Chummy cho cho, Academic calender is not the same with the normal calender. He went to a private university ,not public ones that you will spent 7 years for 4 years course.
ReplyDeleteDavido is from an adventist family. he's father is a stakeholder in Babcock university. He's mother is late,and she would have wanted him to have a degree at least cuz she was well read,so this is in fulfillment to a dream he's mom would have wanted.
