GOD NEVER FAILS!

Hello Stella. How are you? Really love your blog. Just visited a few months ago and ever since I couldn't stop visiting. I fell literally in love with it especially the fact that your blog offers people the platform of expression. Please keep up the good work.

I want to share my story as a means of encouraging others who may be going through a rough terrain in their lives. It could be a medical, family or relationship issue...whatever it is, I just want to pass one single message: hope, believe and never give up because God NEVER fails. My story is a long one so please bear with me. 

Years back during my first year in school, a naive little me became ill briefly. A friend of mine came around to see me that evening so my roomies told him that I was sick( even though at this time I was already feeling much better). My friend insisted we go to the school's clinic and I complied. I saw the doctor, told her my symptoms and she prescribed my medication. I didn't bother knowing what the drugs were used for just that my bedmate drew my attention to one of the drugs as a medication  for menstrual issues. I simply told her, "Well, I don't know. That's what the doctor prescribed." And I went ahead to take it. I didn't even finish the prescription. Just had the drugs once and that was it. Few months went by and I missed my period.

 I didn't feel bothered because I was a virgin and I intended to stay that way till I got married. I was born again. 3 months went by and my period started and from then on it became abnormal. I could bleed for 2 weeks continually, in fact I started seeing my period twice in a month. It was heavy and clotted. So heavy that it can soak through the sanitary pads within minutes. 

Only God knows how I managed through those embarassing times, sitting through lectures and fellowships without having my clothes stained. My loss of blood made me weak. I couldn't run cos I would be out of breath. It went on for months until I confided in my mom who took me to a doctor .He scanned me and gave me promilut- N. 

The drug worked for about a year and my period started running heavily with blood clots again. It was terrible. I pant when I walk. I got weak. Any little thing wore me out. I was losing so much blood. I could have been anaemic yet I never took a blood tonic. God simply kept me. I prayed and I cried to the Lord severally yet it seemed I got no response. 

I remember walking into my room one day after lecture and I stood looking through the open window to heaven. I wept, then I told God that even if He decided not to take this 'situation' from me that I will never stop believing in Him. Yet it continued till I finished university, did my internship and served. The flow raged on. My period was still irregular, clotted, heavy and very discomforting. I went for several scans with different Radiologists and they all said I had a left  ovarian cyst and from what I read, ovarian cyst could cause infertility. Through this I held on in faith because I knew God can do all things. 

Even when my husband came along, I told him pomp and plain about my situation, that I 'may' never get pregnant. He said he loved me too much to let that hinder him from marrying me but he believes God that I will definitely have his children. So we believed God together. 

After my wedding God started His miracle by normalising my menstrual cycle. 

Wow!

 Four months after marriage I became pregnant! 

Another miracle! 

God has been faithful. He kept His Word. It took more than 5 years but I was healed totally. It doesn't matter how long our troubles tide. We should never lose our faith to the devil. If there's anything Satan wants to take from us,it's our faith cos faith is a shield.Let's believe God's report. What does God's Word say about you? Believe it. Life's not gonna be rosy all the way. 

Trouble times will come but be sure that God is in it with you and will see you through it. Wait for Him. I did and today, He has blessed me with three beautiful children and wonderful man who adores me. I am as strong as a horse.

Life is beautiful when we live it in faith by Christ Jesus.
