Chronicle Of HOPE - 19

Stop sweating please!

WHEN THE RIGHT MAN COMES,YOU DONT SWEAT IT!
Hello Stella

I hope this finds you well. I am a silent addict of your blog. I read your blog a lot but hardly ever comment.
I met this guy last year and we are both doing our PhD at a foreign university. I will be turning 28 at the end of this year and he will be turning 31. When I met him I just liked him but nothing more. I had already given up on love because I felt I always met and loved the wrong people, and I prayed and cried for the right man.
So when I met this guy I did not want to even get too close to him because I noticed he was drawn to me. After some months, he called me and we began chatting regularly. We started hanging out and we started knowing each other. He told me he had been heartbroken from a previous relationship and he was finding it hard to love again, so it was like we had the same story. However, we just agreed to remain friends.
Before we both knew it, we began to fall in love and couldn’t do without talking and chatting. Fast forward to last month this guy tells me he doesn’t know what we are waiting for that we should make it official. He called his family and told them he has found his wife and we will be coming for introduction in December.

He will always look at me and tell me how much he appreciates me and how lucky he is to have me in his life. He is always telling me how he can’t wait for us to quickly get home and get married and be together. Me I have never had this experience before o. I have truly been meeting the wrong people in the past.
Stella this guy is unbelievable. He is cute and loving and intelligent and I am falling in love with him more every day.
I want this to be a chronicle of hope to ladies who feel time is going and there is no man. When the right man comes, you don’t sweat it. He comes for you and appreciates you.

    2. This is still a relationship in its budding stage and so far, u have mentioned only his gud attributes, time reveals evrythn and wen a woman can cope wit d worst attributes of her man(vice versa), dts wen a rshp can be said to be formidable.
Yu guys stay abroad, it can be lonely out dere and der is a tendency for 2pple who hv struck d initial spark to feel they hv got it all, pls tread carefully and also be concious of life wen u change environments. Sometimes rshps dt seem perfect outsyd Nigeria can fall apart wen both parties come bck home as dey get to re-acclamatize with our society and can easily fall for the abundance of 'african beauties' dey'v been deprived of while abroad. Speakn from experience.
Wish you d best, and always acknowledge dt you guys are buildn n growing togeda, accept his flaws and any character dt comes up as yu guys grow to your plateau and always invite God to yur lives to bond n seal your union.

  18. Far be it for me to rain on your parade but poster, I thought Chronicle of Hope was about married couples who have gone the distance and can share their experiences. Not someone who is yet to take the plunge. You are just about to start a new life together and by His Grace, I pray you will be blessed and fulfilled in your home but at this stage, it's not really a Chronicle of Hope.

Just my opinion; if anyone has a different one, pls state it calmly and politely without curses and insults. Thank you.

    2. No dear..
      You are wrong..
Right from the debut of The Chronicles of hope...it was stated that any form of story with a happy ending can make it here..sometimes the happy ending is not near, but poster is optimistic and hopeful that it will end well.
      Examples:

A sick person that got better.
A job seeker that found their dream job.
      A turn around in marriage..
      Supernatural childbirth
      Mourning turned into dancing.
      Childless-ness turned into fruitfulness.
      An engagement...
      Etc

  25. Nice. May your love grow from strength to strength.
As I always say, relationships especially marriage and those that leads to marriage, is a three-way cord: man, woman and God. Each with their distinct parts to play, once you, as a man or woman lose sight of what you're suppose to do, then the devil comes in and when he comes God leaves, you need no prophet to tell you what the devil can do.
Good luck dear, let God and all that he represents be your guiding principle in journey of marital bliss.

  39. I was underappreciated and unloved by friends and colleagues. Some mocked and sneered at me because I had an obvious inadequacy. Then I met and married the right man that looked beyond my shortcomings and saw a perfect person. He raised me to an enviable position and those who once sneered and mocked me now want to be associated with me. Never underestimate the power of love. Congrats my dear poster, ignore those that say it's too early to celebrate. When you meet the right person, you know it at the initial stage. God bless your union.

  40. Dear poster, I am happy for you and I pray this will continually be the song you sing even when you get married and grow old with each other. All the best dearie and keep the faith!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Please if your marriage is not in the rank of 5, 10 or 20 years, don't come here to give any hopeless chronicles. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  43. You people should stop sending chronicles of young relationships, just pray about it so it grows stronger, most sdkers will discourage you, dont bother to use your story to encourage them, they aint encouraged

    ReplyDelete
  44. If it is the will of God, nothing shall disturb you. The Lord will perfect it and you will glorify His name.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ok. Thank God for you poster. Your marriage must surely come to pass, Amen. Let me add little advice; if you've not slept with him, pls don't ever do that. Now is the time to pray for a perfect union and to seek God's answer. Also, if you're richer than him, don't give him a dime, at least till he becomes ur husband before God and man. December is still a bit far so pls, use this period to study him well so that you don't start sending chronicles here in the future
