Change-A-Life Excites Kids with Children's Day Funfare

Lagos, Nigeria, Wednesday, May 27, 2015. 


In commemoration of this year’s Children’s Day Celebration, Change-A-Life (CAL) Foundation, a social non-profit organization driven by the need to render a better life to the Nigerian children of today organized a thrilling funfair event at the Eniobanke Art Centre in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.








Change-A-Life Foundation which is a vision of Ms Funmi Iyanda, Nigeria’s foremost TV Host and media entrepreneur marks its 6th Edition of the annual event by celebrating the beneficiaries of the foundation who despite all odds are able to cope and thrive in their academic pursuit.


The edition of this year’s funfare themed ‘Our Future-Our Own’ was graced by some notable fun-loving personalities such as; Funke Akindele, Ozzy Agu of Studio 53, the King of Red Carpet-Denrele Edun, amongst others, exciting the kids and several other people in attendance to some motivational talks, stories, exciting jokes, dancing and photography session.





Delivering the Welcome Address for the event, the Chief Operating Officer, Change A Life Foundation, Ms. Sekinat Ayeyemi, expressed her sincere gratitude to everyone present and have been able to render their wonderful support towards the development of children in the country.
Children’s day celebration is always an unforgettable experience with the Change-A-Life Foundation, over the years I have learnt that it is very easy to make children happy and when they are happy, they don’t pretend or hide it as we can see now. It is our responsibility to provide them with a fun, positive and supportive social & educational environment where they can thrive to become the change we want to see tomorrow” she said
She further revealed that this year’s event is the biggest they have experienced over the years with well over 600 kids in attendance which comprised of Change-A-Life beneficiaries, children from special homes, primary and junior secondary schools all across Lagos state.









She also extended her special appreciation to the companies that partnered with the foundation to make this year’s event memorable such as; Nasco, GOtv, Seven-Up Bottling Company, Dufil Prima Foods Plc. (Indomie), Unilver, Integrated Indigo, Noah’s Ark, amongst others while also encouraging other companies to participate in next year’s event and make it a more memorable one for the kids.

Commending the efforts of the foundation, a representative of one of the schools present said it is indeed heartwarming that the children are being given this wonderful treat and went on to applaud both the foundation and companies present for making the children happy during such difficult moments in the country.

She maintained that children’s day is a tribute to the happiness and future success of all children and providing an unforgettable experience for them during this period should be seen as a key priority for all.
Also giving a goodwill message to the kids, Funke Akindele encourage all the schools present; shining Lords Kids School, Cornerstone Private School, Acmes Nursery and Primary School, Samuel Francis (SamFra) School, De Pentagon School, Bolat School, Elyon School and Trainers Nursery and Primary School for their participation in this year’s event. Inspiring the kids to keep on being wonderful children to their custodians and make sure they are the best in school.

    5. I beg u in the name of God,don't do self medication on any baby less than 2years old before stories that touch" will happen. If the baby is sick please locate a PAEDIATRICIAN as soon as possible. They handle children better than "regular doctors". But if the baby is not sick then follow the dr's advice and don't give any drug. Forget all this Grape water", Pcm drop" and co.
