AGIP Has Discovered Oil In Isoko....

Hmmm...I hear that AGIP has discovered oil in Delta state in Isoko....in my town Araya to be precise!







Does anybody know anything about this?Has anybody heard?
I hear they have started calling the families of the land where the oil is located to discuss with them on how drilling and settlement can begin.

 I hear the quantity of the oil discovered is enough for commercial purposes!
Araya town is located in Isoko south of Delta state.

 I hope this will better the lives of people there.

    Stell there has always been oil in isoko. They've been drilling oil in uzere for years now i even heard they discovered oil in a village in irri not sure if it is true sha.

    Few yrs back Chevron discoverd oil in Ohaji/Egbema LGA,they talked and then started drilling the oil......dunno what happened along d line, d people claimed chevron had destroyed their livestocks and crops, Farm stead, polluted their water and all sorts and that Chevron was yet to holdup their end of the bargain. Chevron on the other hand had grown wings and felt bigger 2d extent dat they didn't see d need to heed to d cries of d people.......Egbema youths took laws into their hands and started attacking and killing their workers. Chevron called for backup and deployed soldiers with riffles and mass destructive weapons down to Egbema. To cut d longstory short, the town's almost a dessert now as I type.There's been brutal killing, maiming and untold massive destruction of d people and everything they live for......
    If there's any truth to this news,Stella, make ur people shine their eyes well well o b4 they let an evil in disguise befall them.

    If its true,that's great news o..isoko too dey underdeveloped abeg..my husband is from Igbide and Shell even has a flow station there..but no development there at all..for years now
