Of course it's man made. Had to buy fuel from a filling station in ikorodu for N200. Imagine driving from Lekki to ikorodu to buy fuel. Which way Nigeria???
My hubby bought 50litres of diesel for almost 30k in black market. What am I saying sef. From the same black market we got petrol of 35litres and ended up paying 42k for everything. See argument, the guy was evening posing and said he's not selling again o, that he went to buy from Ikorodu to sell in town. I don't understand again. The diesel is almost finished now sef. Very frustrating
It's eeven getting worse. Labour is going on sstrike tomorrow. You can't even buy gas. I managed to fill my spare gas cylinders. No light yet nepa brings a bill of 33k to my house. No fuel Nothing seem to be working. I ddidnt believe it was Lagos yesterday. The roads so free... very few vehicles. At the bustops you could seee people looking for commuter buses. Transport fare on double increase. It's sad what Nigeria has become It's pretty sad.
...heard lagos is worst dan abj,was lamenting buying black market 7k for 30litres when my friend told me d same was sold for 15k in lagos! which way nigeria? Idris should remix dat song 'nigeria jaga jaga' and add 'as Jonathan exits to d last line'... This is unarguably the worst fuel scarcity to hit naija since 1914#eyelashes#
my dear, na real God help us o. I've never been this pained all my life. Now i see reasons why my dad was aggressive during that 'abacha saga'. I was very young then, didn't know how diz things affect bread winners. smh...
This news don reach CNN or BBC? Those people saying Jona deserves an award for being the best president, read this...Mediocrity kill you! Shameless lots.
Shut up Bitch....since Jonathan was president this is the first time fuel is scarce. Let buhari bring out the fuel that he said will be 40 naira per litre he is hiding when he takes over. ....open your eye blind bat and see beyond old wrinkle dicks.
It's true. Even diesel is worse. Imagine spending almost 50k for diesel n petrol that only lasts 12hrs or less. So it means we'll be spending 50k per day? Abeg where's my passport. Sick
The fuel scarcity is actually man made. The APC will do anything to make this government look bad and ineffective. They have infiltrated the oil marketers and blackmailed them into stopping further oil importation, all in an effort to sabotage the Jonathan administration.

It is man made. They want to leave Nigeria in chaos for the incoming president. That is why the out going president is sacking and employing people anyhow. Good that the court order prevented him from moving the multi billion oil project to Bayelsa. They want to ground the economy, to see how the incoming president will restore the economy. This is wickedness. God pass them. Stellistica, it is not funny.
Yippee!! Today is our 3rd year wedding anniversary. I'm super duper (in Barney's voice) grateful to God for the journey so far.
Wen we were dating, I was diagnosed with Uterine Fibroid which the doctor said might make pregnancy difficult. I was so angry and depressed. Why me?? At 23?? I tried everything to make him dump me, I even asked him to, that I would understand. But he wouldn't, he didn't. He was there for me like no one else has ever been, encouraging and supporting me in every way possible. We fought it together with God by our side.
Few years later, we got married. Today we are blessed with two beautiful kids. I'm glad I married my best friend. I'm glad I married a selfless man. I'm glad I married a man with a good conscience. I'm glad I married a man with the fear of God.
Lord you've been our help in the past years, and you are our hope in years to come, help me to be more prayerful, help me to be a better wife and mother!! #gratefulheart
My cousin told me that when her petrol finished in the generator and her fones were switched off, she said she called her security guard, gave him 200naira to go to TFc to buy coke, that he should seat there and help her charge her fone, while he sips on the coke for over one hour. Imagine that.
Its bad, very bad Stella..it's crazy in Lagos, some places 400 per liter. Thank God I'm leaving for phc today at leats in phc you can get 140,150 and you can see where to buy unlike lag
Shame! Shame! Shame! I weep for my country We rank ???? Among the oil producing countries in the world yet we suffer to get it...the fuel scarcity bites harder daily Nationwide strike is imminent!
Dis is seriously seriously serious! Fuel as at yesterday night was 500 per litre in my area. And it's just worse in Lagos state. Mtn de do anyhow before, now they have a reason to really misbehave. Thank goodness am not a customer. Indeed dis is d worst i've witnessed so far when it has to do with fuel scarcity. Na now pple suppose trek cos that's just d way out. Onwa may, mmeeee!
Is this why I can't use my MTN data? Ridiculous! I hope they do something fast about it. Stella nwanyi oma, e-hugs from yesterday's post. Happy Sunday u all.
Jonathan administration finally given Nigerians nice send off party by telling Nigerians to go to hell by his action in the past weeks with all the fuel and electricity problem. What a bad way to leave office after all the election praises. How come same issue never happened the past years just weeks to his hand over? Well petroleum subsidy is a scam, i call his administration current actions sabotage. Count down to his send off.
Bad belle of what? Why are Nigerians daft. So you are suffering you the masses, the people who you think are doing bad belle and their opponents are either out of the country or with stocked gens and solar panels. But you think someone is doing bad belle against them. I see why the country isn't moving.
Anon15: 21- it was physically torturing to read your comment. Ofcourse it is man made. GEJ u try o, just when I was beginning to start liking you . Pschew Watched some documentaries, apparently GEJ has refused to pay the marketers d subsidy monry(which they did not earn anyway) and now they have decided to hoarse the fuel Buhari get work o. He should sha probe GEJ. No light, no fuel, hike in prices of everything and salary unchanged.... We need help men
No joy at all especially in lag. commercial bus drivers have trippled fares, everything is now so expensive that a guy i know is attempting suicide as tge company he works for haven't paid their staffs since february. Nigeria, which way? The annoying thing is the elites arent bothered at all, the whole pain is only felt by the masses. Does karma know Nigeria exists? i doubt it bcos the so called 'cursed' politicians still live big. Their children nko? They even live bigger. aargh I dey vex jare. #bbm angry smiley#
My dear everyone is affected o. It's not even about affordability again, it is about availability. People who have money can't even find diesel to buy, those who don't mind whatever amount it's going for o. It's crazy
My sista, it's not wordless ooo. Na wetin we d face oo. U go even hold moni, 4 lasgidi u no go c d fuel buy. I hate black market wit all my heart cuz u don't even know Wat it's mixed wit. Nobody wan protest, it's as if Nigerians have accepted it as a way of life. Tayadddddd! Holy spirit Pls come to our rescue cuz dis ain't ordinary any more.
Stella it's worse than u think o... No fuel, no diesel, no power from phcn (whatever their name is now) no money too!!! It's terrible. Nigeria is in total darkness and debt.. They ve finished us.. Weeping for naija and hope it will get better coz it is frustrating, Kai!!!!
What is wordless about this Stella? I expected you and other bloggers to take up this matter and talk about it morning and night till the world hears our plight and someone comes to our rescue yet you are silent...and the single post you make about this harrowing situation you call it a wordless post huh?
Make she leave Germany come fight for you? In mama peace voice " she can't cry more than d bereaved" lol. On a serious note, she has interrupted electricity nd fuel so u that dnt have can create more awareness and take it up in your local community
Celebrities all over d world who wrote d harsh tag @ bringbackourgirls# on their social media handle plus Obama's input then, what was the result? So if Stella nd Linda create awareness wetin go happen? There are matters bigger than Stella nd bloggers!!
Like seriously? What they don't realise, that this shortage of fuel supply is going to also make so many industries , loss of finances .
And the poor will suffer for this, cos prices will be hiked, telecommunications will increase tariffs , transportation fare will be increased, just a vicious cycle.
This is the problem with developing countries, when you don't get basic/fundamental supply and infrastructures right, it affects a lot of productivity.
Just imagine this happening in Europe / America, it just won't. Because they understand the implications.}
JONATHAN'S GOVT IS OFFICIALLY THE WORST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO NIGERIA!! While he's lost in the euphoria of been called a hero for conceding defeat, things get worse.. evry sector is shutting down, debts everywhere wtout tangible evidence of Wat d debts were used for.. this is definitely going to affect investment decisions in d country as investors in d Nigeria economy is going to be seen as a dicey one.. what a mess!!!! JONATHAN is leaving the country fat worse than he met it & God will punish him for that..
Ah ah you are not in Aso rock. I thought you insulted us all because of your hero. No please Buhari shouldn't do anything for your kind. Go and look for Director or whoever to do it for you. Now you see that whatever is done whether the person is Igbo or not affects everybody. Your my brother my brother has come to roost
It has come to this? Last night, I bought fuel at N500 per litre. This country demoralizes me. No fuel, no light, yet PHCN keeps bringing bills. This country needs to be fixed asap, it is a huge mess. Why won’t Diezani run after GMB? Their hands aren’t clean.
Stella, your man GEJ+NOI+Diezani put us in this mess. Nigerians fought for removal of subsidy and they agreed to partial removal saying that the rest will be used for SUREP, buses and renovation of some refineries. Till now, no buses+refineries are functioning, SUREP is a big mess and its fund has been embezzled. GEJ was too complacent, allowed a lot of corrupt practices to go on during his time, the result is what you are seeing now. I have no words for NOI that misled us for years too. Everything is just a mess in this nation. And all GEJ supporters will come and expect Buhari to do miracles once he is sworn in, when the hole left by GEJ is soooo deep. I'm happy I voted Buhari, happy my vote never counted for GEJ, rubbish!
Its a pity that fuel scarcity still occurs in Naija. I was watching the nightly news when the News Caster said, "coming up next, we are going to talk about a place with so much crude but no fuel for it's people" That headline caught my attention and just then, they went on a commercial break. I was very exhausted but stayed up only for me to hear them talk about the land of my birth. I know we are expecting a lot from the in coming administration but GMB has to deliver us. The suffering is just too much and from all fronts. God Bless the FRN. God Bless the poor and down trodden. To all those responsible for the condition of things in Nigeria, soon and very soon, God will deny you all sleep. No sleeping pill will do it either.
We've not seen anything yet, Jonathan plans to cripple this country before he leaves on the 29th.
Nigeria is in so much debt, the economy is dead, no light, no water, no fuel, the people are starving..........
His plan is 2 faced: Create enough problems for the incoming government AND shove one up our collective arses for rejecting him at the polls.
National hero my firm, yellow yansh, the man is evil and I hope a "Kashamu" is done on him after he leaves power and no longer has immunity, he needs to pay for his deeds!

Is dat why u want to occupy d whole space??? Buhari, come and save d country, shebi they said u are d saviour, u ppl should stop complaining, he will soon enter and save u all. Shebi he has gotten his ppl to cause fuel commotion just like he did with bokoharam so dat wen he comes in and reverses d situation, he becomes Ur god. Mtsheeeeeew
Lmao@ Teesbaby. @Sharon, na true u talk jare. Only a person with shallow brain will attribute this scarcity to APC. When the root of the matter has been documented and made clear for the world to see. It's been running on major news channels for about a week now. I wonder if it is APC that's owing the marketers. I wonder if it is the APC that refused to build refineries in the last 16years. Thank u Jesus for giving me eyes to read, and small sense to assimilate what goes on around me. Else, some people will just be feeding u with lies. Dang!
Na wao this is getting serious. Where are those goodluck till 2019 hope they are not feeling the scarcity. No light for 2days, Fuel is 150 in sokoto but its available.
Those who live in developed nations know that the President and his/her cabinet will be held responsible for things like this. Anyone who will say APC sponsored this needs to be sent back to Primary 2. If APC sponsored this then the people we have in power are worthless to allow people not ruling to take the country from them. Stella, this is issues bubbling up now that the Head does not care anymore. See the issues springing up from their party. See the issues at every sector of Government . this is a case of chicken has come home to roost. We did not attack Jonathan for tribalistic reasons. We made noise because the country is in a mess. A hot mess. Buhari has his work cut out for him and we will make sure he does something for Nigerians. The past 16 years at the federal level has been HORRIBLE. The worst in our national history.
Stella scarcity knows no tribe or religion, I am waiting for Ndi Nobel Peace Prize to come and tell us were they are getting their N87 fuel and 6 hour electricity(they might be the people getting the poorly generated power). Buhari and team better be hearing up. The solution to these issues are not hard at all. We just need willing and smart people.

ReplyDeleteStella it's worse than u think o... No fuel, no diesel, no power from phcn (whatever their name is now) no money too!!! It's terrible. Nigeria is in total darkness and debt.. They ve finished us.. Weeping for naija and hope it will get better coz it is frustrating, Kai!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonder shall never see,nawaoooo
ReplyDeleteWhat is wordless about this Stella? I expected you and other bloggers to take up this matter and talk about it morning and night till the world hears our plight and someone comes to our rescue yet you are silent...and the single post you make about this harrowing situation you call it a wordless post huh?
ReplyDeleteMake she leave Germany come fight for you? In mama peace voice " she can't cry more than d bereaved" lol. On a serious note, she has interrupted electricity nd fuel so u that dnt have can create more awareness and take it up in your local community
DeleteCelebrities all over d world who wrote d harsh tag @ bringbackourgirls# on their social media handle plus Obama's input then, what was the result? So if Stella nd Linda create awareness wetin go happen? There are matters bigger than Stella nd bloggers!!

ReplyDeleteLike seriously?
What they don't realise, that this shortage of fuel supply is going to also make so many industries , loss of finances .
And the poor will suffer for this, cos prices will be hiked, telecommunications will increase tariffs , transportation fare will be increased, just a vicious cycle.
This is the problem with developing countries, when you don't get basic/fundamental supply and infrastructures right, it affects a lot of productivity.
Just imagine this happening in Europe / America, it just won't.
Because they understand the implications.}
This is getting serious everyday... May God save us
ReplyDeleteTerrible

ReplyDeleteJONATHAN'S GOVT IS OFFICIALLY THE WORST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO NIGERIA!!
ReplyDeleteThis Scarcity is the Worst. Both Rich and Poor are badly affected. Buhari we are wanting for you ooo
ReplyDeleteHow about u direct ur wait to ur hero gej who's still in power for 7days?
DeleteTo think idiots like u,okija wife, eka, efe n sdk wanted jona to continue?!
DeleteAh ah you are not in Aso rock. I thought you insulted us all because of your hero. No please Buhari shouldn't do anything for your kind. Go and look for Director or whoever to do it for you. Now you see that whatever is done whether the person is Igbo or not affects everybody. Your my brother my brother has come to roost
DeleteOnly God can see Nigeria thru all dis mess cos the way we are goin it's beyond manpower........
ReplyDeleteWe are still tackling light issues to worsen it all fuel matter joined.
*sigh*
It has come to this? Last night, I bought fuel at N500 per litre. This country demoralizes me. No fuel, no light, yet PHCN keeps bringing bills. This country needs to be fixed asap, it is a huge mess. Why won’t Diezani run after GMB? Their hands aren’t clean.
ReplyDeleteHmmm! Which way Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteIt seems this gov't is leaving a country in disarray: no light, no fuel, no money.
God help us
Hian oooooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteAbeg na who turn this my beautiful country like this????
Hmmmmmmmmm
U must truly be crazy 2 ask dat question!!Is ur hero not still d president?!Oloshi olooriburuku,u'll eat from dustbin in shortest possible time

What is this!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo electricity! No fuel ! .
Am complaining that I bought N150 yesterday, while some people in lagos sell N 500.
Fuel/diesel scarity ain't funny no more..
ReplyDeleteWhoever is in charge pls make this stop already, it is affecting many production sectors..
ReplyDeleteGEJ was too complacent, allowed a lot of corrupt practices to go on during his time, the result is what you are seeing now.
ReplyDeleteAMEN!!
DeleteAmen!!!!!
DeleteHian!
ReplyDeleteWat is happening?
Na wa oh
ReplyDeleteNa wa 4 ur hero gej or na wa 4 who?#mumuunited

We've not seen anything yet, Jonathan plans to cripple this country before he leaves on the 29th.
ReplyDeleteNigeria is in so much debt, the economy is dead, no light, no water, no fuel, the people are starving..........
What fuckery....so pissed!

Shebi he has gotten his ppl to cause fuel commotion just like he did with bokoharam so dat wen he comes in and reverses d situation, he becomes Ur god. Mtsheeeeeew
DeleteOh dear! Ure indeed so pissed. Come take a hug and a cup of ice-cream. U need it baby, u do.
DeleteLmao@ Teesbaby. @Sharon, na true u talk jare.
DeleteOnly a person with shallow brain will attribute this scarcity to APC.
Dang!
Hia stella, which one is u hope it's not man made. Na spirit dey cause am before?
ReplyDeleteHmmmm!
ReplyDeleteOf course it is man made..
ReplyDeleteOfcourse it's man made. Sigh
ReplyDeleteIt's that bad.
ReplyDeleteNawa
ReplyDeleteNa wao this is getting serious. Where are those goodluck till 2019 hope they are not feeling the scarcity. No light for 2days, Fuel is 150 in sokoto but its available.
ReplyDeleteone is up there, words have failed her. she couldn't type more than 'nawa oh'. sigh...
DeleteLa petite, I can see u feel like being foolish today.
Deletei wouldnt drag myself into d gutter with u eka whatever. enjoy ur day.
DeleteThis is one of d worse if not the worst scarcity ever
ReplyDeleteWorst*
ReplyDeleteIt worst than you think, the country is on a stand still. Thank Hod water corporation is still giving water because that's the only thing remaining
ReplyDeleteThose who live in developed nations know that the President and his/her cabinet will be held responsible for things like this.
ReplyDeleteGod bless u plenty
DeleteStella scarcity knows no tribe or religion, I am waiting for Ndi Nobel Peace Prize to come and tell us were they are getting their N87 fuel and 6 hour electricity(they might be the people getting the poorly generated power). Buhari and team better be hearing up. The solution to these issues are not hard at all. We just need willing and smart people.
ReplyDeleteNo Stella it is a natural disaster.lol.
