On the day of presidential elections na so I carry my card stroll go polling booth for my estate to vote. It was a reunion of sorts because I was able to see a lot of people I haven't seen in years and months even though we all live in the same estate. Some people brought snacks drinks and chairs. Some even put mat under trees and on the field dey do picnic. 

Na so I go hail my paddies and as we were gisting na so one red Range Rover Evogue come drive pass us. The car caught our attention and the gist quickly shifted to cars. As we dey look two chics stepped out from the car and the one that drove walked towards us with a smile and gave me a light hug. I was perplexed say where I for know this oyibo pepper. I carefully masked my amazement and went" awwww..... its been a long time how are you" and all that. And she asked after my husband and sons. For my mind I say this one know me reach house.

After the pleasantries she left and I turned to my neighbour and confessed to her say in all honesty I no know who greet me and she laughed. So you no remember Tonia? I begin crack my brain and then it clicked! Tonia ke? Unbelievable. Tonia the regular plain Jane Don turn like video vixen come white on top. Let me give you Tonia's background. 

One evening as we were having fellowship for church one sister when dey stay estate come tell us say e get one girl when get accommodation problem say she wan carry the girl go house. I told her capital NO. Say instead make she give the girl money to go rent house in less expensive areas. She refused say her BQ was unoccupied and her husband wan bring relative when she no like to stay there. I advised her against it say instead make she buy sewing machine and other tailoring things take occupy the place to distract her husband. 

Then she told me the person she wants to help is Tonia. Tonia came into the church within one month she don turn everybody friend they smile and greet everybody. Even if fly for the church pass Tonia go smile greet am. I wasn't buying any of that because I could see beyond her superficiality. 

Once a woman does not come to church with her husband Tonia would go to him to hitch a ride home. Always disturbing men in church with her CVs. I saw missed calls from her one time on my husband's phone and he said she was pestering him for a job. I quickly told him to tell her no vacancy. Then one day I couldn't make it to church and my husband came back a bit late. Wetin happen? He said he had to drop Tonia off as there was no bike or keke running. I pulled his ear tell am say even if Tonia has an emergency or is about to die you're not allowed to save her if I'm not there because I know a hustler when I see one(don't ask me how). LMAO!

I narrated this to my friends. They felt I was over reacting say weda Tonia don snatch my BF before? I went to her and told her in plain words that I've got my eyes on her and she isn't allowed near my man. Yes I'm mean like that. Can't watch anyone take the cream off my pie.

Police is your friend!!!

Stella Darling, a very good morning to you. I was driving to work on Monday morning, there was traffic around Akowonjo round-about and i got hit by a truck that was manouvering like the road belongs to him. I got down and told him to come check my car, this guy and his motor guy ignored me oh, Stella!! 

I started to run after him, screaming because the road was a bit free at that point , next thing a good samaritan blocked the truck and then some other people came to harass him, particularly a guy and a lady, may God bless these people. Before i knew what was going on, about 4 mobile policemen came around, they told this guy to park and come down, then told me to go bring my car, can you believe one of the policemen pulled out the dent for me and they all started begging me???? I was shocked...the point here is we should not always be quick to condemn the Nigerian Police, some of them are actually good people that won't let other people get cheated.

To the lady and the guy that helped me, may God bless you, to the daddy and mummy that blocked the truck for me, ‎your children shall see favour everywhere they go and to the policemen, God will bless you real good also to you Stella and bvs, God will bless you and yours.

I agree that the Police is our friend but not ALL and some are your friend when them Police space dey full.LMAO!

fight were told to carry 250 blocks from one place to another, before

then finish, e don be around past 2am, finally na school Health Centre

they both land o. The police say they wan teach them some lessons wey

their parents no remember to teach them. The following day, everyone

of us go greet them for Health Centre and since then, then don lay

low, I think say dey don learn some lessons truly. We people wey dey

area still dey live in fear cos we never know maybe the cultists go

wan revenge. But I know say the fear of the soldiers is the beginning

of wisdom to everyone of us.

The norm was to delay them for awhile and allow them in, even if students no pay from 100 level till final year, dia day of reckoning be wen them won graduate, at least that one beta.
