Save Our Needy - "One Child, One Schoolbag"

Save Our Needy, a registered international non-profit organisation wishes to embark on a 3-day project entitled "One Child, One Schoolbag" where we'll donate schoolbags, writing materials and water bottles to disadvantaged children attending low-income (public) primary schools in Lagos State.

The project will take place from May 25th to May 27th to commemorate Children's Day in Nigeria. 8 schools in Lagos have been selected for this purpose.

The main objectives of the project is to promote education and encourage girl-child enrolment into schools. For this reason, more girls will benefit from the project.

We will like to reach out to 30 disadvantaged children from SDK blog.

Interested families should send us an email (saveourneedy@gmail.com) telling us why they need the assistance. Please include: number of kids, sex, age of the kids and location in Lagos.

As the time to authenticate plea for assistance is very limited, please like us on Facebook (even if you're applying on someone's behalf) and follow us on Twitter if you have a twitter account, so we can verify your true existence. Include your twitter handle and Facebook name to your email application.

Twitter: @SaveOurNeedy

Through this project, we hope to reach out to a total of 1000 disadvantaged children but judging from the funds we have now, we still need financial support.

Any individual, organization or company willing to join hands with us to make this project a huge success should please send all donations to:

Save Our Needy Organisation
Guaranty Trust Bank
0168556004

Your donations and support will be duly acknowledged. No amount is insignificant.

Together, let's put smiles on the faces of little children and make this Children's Day a memorable one for them.

We sincerely thank our partners Verdant Zeal and Madrew's, the Lagos State Education Board (for the approval letter) and all our generous donors, some of whom wish to remain anonymous. We met some of them on this blog: Rex Atagana (Finland) and Emem Jimmy-Michael.
THANK YOU so very much for believing in our dream. May God bless you immensely.
