  6. i might not have been to Akwa ibom state but the few projects i saw online, newspapers e.t.c makes me wonder why Rotimi Ameachi will be making so much noise. The budget of Rivers State for the past 8 years surpass that of Akwa ibom state, yet we do not have this type of hospital. The Niger hospital is just a child's play compared to this. All he has been saying and commissioning is same secondary and primary schools over and over or the mushroom health centers. Guess some Rivers people are so blinded by hatred for Jonathan who is also a big disaster and failure or beneficiary of Ameachi mismanagement.you appointed the so called thug and corrupt individual as chief of staff for four years, nominated him as minister!!!! really? birds of same feather. WIKE AND AMEACHI shame on you guys, cannot fool everyone.

    1. Abia state governor spent 8yrs in office, doing absolutely nothing.
Aba is about the dirtiest city in Nigeria, no single good road, no water, no quality structure.

I don't even know how he was able to win his senatorial election.

    2. Depends on the definition of 'win' to yo, cos there's no way he won
Akpabio really tried for Akwa Ibom, just like Sullivan Chime did for Enugu state. This is why I keep saying that Nigerian politicians are evil and heartless, cos there's no way Akpabio isn't a billionaire right now, yet he was able to execute all these projects. Imagine how much does that do nothing for their states amass. Pitiful!

  13. But this hospital is not even equipped now. Why the rush to commission projects that are less than half completed? That's how he commissioned Uruan street that is not completed. Drainage project was commissioned but the town still floods after all the billions wasted. Don't be deceived by photo ops oh. I live here and all this one na wash.

    1. The hospital is very much equipped, stop saying what you don't know.

    2. I bet you're the "contractor" who equipped it...ignoramus...you're the one saying what you don't know...joke's on you buster...like La belle said, all na wash!!! I live here too. I pray Udom completes this project because the health sector in this state (at least in uyo, where I live) is VERY pathetic!!!

    3. At the commissioning yesterday people were taken round the hospital and I saw equipment. You can go there and see for yourself instead of typing trash because you have a phone.

  14. You can imagine if we have hospitals like this in every state with required equipments and well trained doctors and nurses, our health-care system in this country will be completely overhauled. It's not too late for other Governors to take note.

  19. Very nice. Akwa-Ibomites truly need star hospitals 4 their healthcare needs. Let's hope the critical staff e.g. physicians, nurses and administrators will bring a first class, quality care to bear.
