Ebuka Obi-Uchendu Padlocks His Love For Cynthia In Paris

Ebuka who attended Martell 300th anniversary in Paris went to the Lovelock Bridge land like a man crazy in love,he eternally sealed his love for his fiancee, Cynthia Obianodo, with a padlock.

Ebuka got engaged to the daughter of Young Shall Grow Motors chairman, Cynthia Obianodo last month at Sakura Japanese restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Does anyone share the school of thought that locking your love with a padlock is almost like taking a love oath?

I have had opportunity to do this but i panicked becos the same way people troop to lock their love is the same way they go back to break the padlock but no one is reporting the padlock breaking.

I have seen some guy breaking off the padlock he put,it took him days to spot it cos it was so full and then he cut it off..he was asked by someone and he says ''I need to get away from her but its not happening, maybe its the lock...''

I would rather padlock myself with God oh.....

Congrats Ebuka, you and Cynthia look so good together!

    4. It is like a covenant. NOT advisable.
You use been for, HAVE, HAS HAD.
You use being for any other sentence that does NOT include any of the H's.
I also made such mistake until I was corrected.

  5. Well, I think the most effective bond still remains the one done with, or said from the heart. I think anything outside of this is mere ceremony with no consequence to the lovers.

This location may appear a spot for "covenant partners"..but I think it was created for the sake of novelty to serve as a peculiar tourist attraction for people from all facet of life. It's just a location, as cool and as unusual as it appears, it has little or no significance to relationships. (my opinion).
It's like visiting the statue of liberty in New York and then signing ur name to record ur presence there.

As per lovers and Paris in general, which by the way is known to be a city for lovers after Tokyo, so they kukuma created this to serve as a memorabilia that uv joined the rest of the "world" to celebrate/announce ur love to ur partner. Lol. It has no spiritual implication jare, as many may assume.
Not like our local village lovers that use blade to draw blood from each other, thereby making an oath to remain binded forever. A 'ritual" , which hitherto has its efficacy (according to spiritualists)

For me, I think this is just a rendezvous for lovers. So the one who was looking to unlock his padlock must believe strongly in it. Lol

  6. I share the same school of thought with u Stella, padlock is padlock anywhere in the world, whether u use it to tie yourself to someone in Europe or Africa, and place it on land or in the sea, it still has the same spiritual implication,

  7. i don't see it as a form of oath though, its another form of xpressin ur love, but not on paper or wearing the smallest handcuff.... I shld try it with my wife wen the time comes, she accepted me with all my imperfections, and my imperfections no be here o....

  8. It's like making a love covenant and this thing can be disastrous if one party want to part ways in the future. I pray he doesn't regret doing this in the mere future...

  16. Stella, many guys that are not millionaires will also want to put a padlock on their marriage with a billionaires daughter. I don't blame him.
Then again, maybe the girl is submissive. They are every man's dream

  24. My dear hubby wanted us to do it during our 2 years wedding anniversary holiday in France last year. I refused but there was no particular reason for my refusal. He asked if I had plans to leave him at some point. Well I don't, but such things don't move me. My marriage is sealed in heaven, not with a padlock on a bridge beside the water. Mba kwa biko!

  26. It has no religious implication! It's just a fun and cool thing to do. Just like people that make a wish and throw a penny into the fountain. Nigerians and their irrational need to juju-fy everything! Na wah! *hides head in shame on behalf of ignorant nigerians*

    ReplyDelete
  27. Lol @ all these explanation

Oya let's pray it works for them

  28. It's a thing of the mind IMO. A friend of mind did this years back and when she broke up with the bobo, it was explosive (na police come intervene). Some of our friends thought it was the padlock doing the reverse of what it's supposed to be doing. But I believe in it and will do it.

  29. We Nigerians love to spiritualize everything .

Not everything should have a deeper meaning ..labeling it sometimes takes the fun of it . Need I say we are way to religious for our own good .

Was gonna do this with le boo ..when we planned on Paris as our vacation spot ..but we changed plans ..however ,should we visit Paris, this is high on our to do list .

It's no guarantee really for everlasting love ,if couples padlocked in the presence of God can divorce ..how much more ...
