Bovi Says You Should Press Delete If Marriage Kills Your Dream!

In a post dedicated to women pursuing their dreams, Comedian Bovi has said marriage shouldn't be at the expense of one's dream as an individual, he suggests to press delete if it kills ones dream as an individual.

If you marry someone who kills your dream, you should delete the Marriage?
Marriage itself is a dream killer and it takes a lot of strength to tow the dream path...

I am happy Bovi isnt a dream killer.....Lucky wife he's got!

  3. The whole idea is to marry a man who shares your vision, who will help you build and focus on achieving your dream.

What the woman should invest in, is choosing a dream that can balance her life.

Life is not all about money.
Life is about family, then money then success.
But the most important is family.
A woman who misses this, is gonna have herself to blame when she views and evaluate her life in the long run

  4. Bovi not every dream comes true! What if she leaves her beautiful home to follow her "dreams" and ends up losing it all! What then? But I don't support domestic violence of any sort oo, just saying!!

  6. True talk..Stella I don't believe marriage is a dream killer..thats what we have come to believe ..which is not true..we shouldforget we have been taught as women..a true man will never kill his woman's dreams..

Some women kill this dream naturally..because to them they say 'I am married,i have kids what else should I do??.. When I hear that..I get angry tho

    1. You've said it all. And by the way marriage is God's command and blessings always come with obedience. If you choose within God's will, your dream will even succeed more than you imagined. What you believe is what you get and you get what you believe. If you believe that marriage kills dreams then that's exactly what's gonna happen to you.

  9. I support this, marriage is supposed to enhance ones dreams because it means you have a partner that will cheer you on at all times and be a shoulder to lean on, as no man is an island. If you aint getting that from your better half then step rather than lose yourself.

  10. I believe everyone whether man, woman, child, animal should follow his/her/it dreams.
But on a more serious note, its ones ability to manage family, marriage and career abi na dream that truly makes one a success. This especially when one has had to sacrifice one or two things and still achieve that same success people who left their marriages brag about.
Women abeg draw inspiration from real successful women like the late Prof. Dora Akunyili, Indra Nooyi (CEO Pepsi cola) or even our own Stella Kork.
I am not married but I know that every marriage has got its own challenges. Therefore, I do not agree completely with his assertion.

I av complained to him times without number but he doesn't care, there is dis guy I'm getting close to and i think i like him. Well let's see how it goes, the most painful part is dat my marriage is just 7 months old.

  30. It is quite surprising that these days anybody can give advice on social media and many we take it as the gospel truth. Marriage does not kill dream, that is why you go into it with someone you share the same dream and both of you have agreed to support each other. Marriage is a big project that both partners have roles to play in that both a re willing to make sacrifices and changes to make it work. It is not just a project but a vocation and the continuity and fulfillment of life as man and woman but if you are not ready to play the role of either husband and wife as is expected then marriage is not for you. But the key still is what you and your partner agree to. I believe a man should aspire to dream but you cannot eat your cake and have it or allow your dream hurt your role as a wife and a mother. Choose which is more important to you and be ready to pay the price. There is always a price for whatever decision we make. This is not only for women, even men must make the same choice. The problem is that we want a stella career while the home suffer and we are not ready to pay the price.

  31. Anon 12:16. if your husband threaten you again, threaten him too. why must he say you must leave the house.

do you work or you depend totally on him. Dont allow him to abuse you emotionally because that is what he is using against you. stand up to him.

  33. @bloglord what you said is irrelevant to what Bovi said oh. I agree with what you said but not in relation to this. some peeps get to marriage and see fire when there were no signs before the marriage. delete................

    ReplyDelete
  34. anon 12.16: its not normal oh. your husband clearly does not respect you as a partner. looks like he thinks he did you a favour by marrying you. you need to tell him at a time when you guys are at peace that,"you do not appreciate that sort of language. he needs to find another way to express his disdain order than threatening to kick you out".
