      Sisi, I just so your comment on an earlier post. People voted for Buhari not APC, though under the party. JEGA is insisting that the card readers will be used in the state elections. So voters will decide to caste their vote for their preferred candidates which is a good thing.

      As for winner take all attitude by God's grace it will be a thing of the past. So APC winning at the center may not translate to winning at state levels. We need a robust political space not one sided party system which has never encourage development hence the people suffer.

      @ realist, one bitter truth you must know is that you south-west people and your states cannot survive without the Igbo taxes and oil money coming from the south-east and south-south. The billions that come from federal allocation which is given to each state in Nigeria will not be their for you to squander or use to pay your workers, so be careful what you wish yourself. You can also use Christmas season as your case study and see how deserted lagos is whenever about 40% of igbos travel out of lagos to celebrate Christmas. Be also reminded that lagos you claim ownership to was made a mega city from the proceeds of our oil money of which you still get billions monthly from the same oil/ federal allocation. Abuja today is the mega city it is due to the proceeds from our oil money. I am sure you will be asked to leave abuja too because it belongs to the north. Anyway when you reject devil, make sure you reject his works and food. Don't reject us and like our oil or the proceeds from our oil. Lagos state is developed with our oil money and we all have a stakes in it. You cannot develop your swamps with our oil money and ask us to leave, that is a capital lie.

      Lovelace, I'll have to take ur words for it, vis-a-vis the usage of card readers and vote counts. It worked last week so I have confidence it will work again this Saturday. But as per APC vs Buhari, yep you are right. But I still believe that apart from buhari's personal manifesto, Nigerians were done with PDP. So they needed a change of party as well as candidate, which apc provided at the right time.

      Then again, perhaps any cry would have sufficed for a burial.. it could have been any party but APC tho. I wish Agbaje was under Apc. Yep

    Still reserving my comment on this matter . I am not in support of anyone mudslinging other tribes . There's only one race I know which is the human race !!
    If I were to react to the Oba's comment he should apologize and make everyone be in peace . There's division every where even within tribes . Like I always say wisdom is profitable to direct !! I have lived in lagos almost all my life and I know what I experienced from different tribes there in but I still don't judge them for what they put me through. I became a better person by such encounter and today I am relieved of every hurt. My mom always say no be every dog wey bark at person him go dey listen to , don't lose focus !!
    The earth belongs to the lord and the fullness thereof . We all will not carry it anywhere .

    Yorubas have always been tribalistic since day 1. Thy always feel threatened by the ibos probably because they know ibos always good at what they do (as long as you are not hausa or yoruba you're "Omo ibo"). Check out the movie industry, as if there would be "Nollywood" if not for the ibos. wat about the useless blog awards the "Yorubas" have been organizing over the years. In each category,they'd always pick yorubas as the overall winners even if the winning site is crap. The Chief Executive Officer of LASTMA Transportation in person of Mr Young Arabamen hails from Esan Central LGA, Efo State. (2) Lagos State Commissioner for Economic Planning & Budget, Mr Ben Akabueze has served in this capacity since January, 2007 having first been appointed by Governor Tinubu and later re-appointed for Two terms by Governor Fashola. (3) The former Publicity Secretary for ACN and currently Publicity Secretary of APC, Mr Joe Igbokwe is obviously not a Yoruba man either. It may interest you to also know that Lagos State has been accommodating to such an extent of allowing Mr Joe Igbokwe double as the General Manager, Lagos State Infrastructures Maintenance & Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA). (4). Sometimes in 2013, when a lady Uzoma Okere was brutalized by a Yoruba Naval Officer, it was Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola who stood up, prosecuted the matter till the lady was compensated. My dear People, Lagos State has moved beyond ethnic divides and I don't think we should allow the shallow minded elements trying to use this as a tool for getting votes succeed in their evil bids.
