Tinubu Says This Is ''Nigeria's Finest Moment In Its Political History...''

National leader, All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the victory of the Presidential candidate of the APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, as Nigeria's finest moment in its political history.

"It is a moment when hope is re-born, faith is rekindled and a fresh fire of patriotism is released for the task ahead. I congratulate General Buhari, Nigeria's President-elect,  on his  hard won victory. I salute our gallant party leaders and members for running the long distance to victory. To millions of Nigerians, I say this - the APC seeks not power for its sake, but for the purpose of bringing a better life to our people and re-building our country.
"This is also democracy' s finest moment. Nigerians alive today have witnessed the beginning of an era of change . They made this happen and they are the true celebrants and they are deserving. Together, we share this victory.Side by side we would work together to bring our country back."

Bola Ahmed Tinubu

    12. Queen Bee well said. No perfect politician anywhere in the world. Anyone who cannot lie a bit can't be a politician. By lies I mean, "I'll do this, I'll do that". That's what I consider political lies. Na their ways.

Anyway as for tinubu, he has empowered quite a number of people, a thing the self righteous ones have failed to do. Yet, when they see others do it they criticise them. Tinubu is not perfect. Infact I do not like his autocratic way of governance. However, he's done well politically. And that is why he enjoys the dividends of his sacrifice today.

Obama will like this administration particularly, because Tinubu donated huge monies to the Obama campaign during their last election. And he was acknowledged by Obama during his vote of thanks to foreign supporters. So you see, na water wey he pour for ground e dey enjoy. Cuss the man all u like, he's a great leader. Albeit not perfect.

Now you can call me tribalistic or whatever. Are u sure I'm even yoruba? Question for the gods. I refer to the idiot that called me tribalistic. Smh

    13. Sisi Eko no be only Tinubu contribute to Obama's campaign fund, even hawks inside PDP donate too. The American government always work with progressives, APC did a good job in selling their change product to both the British and the American government. Please no be funds wey him drop do the magic before PDP e warriors go come latch on the idea. I like the fact that Tinubu stayed at the back ground because of his notorious ways if not it would have done more damage than good. We should try not to encourage autocratic and nepotistic ways in the incoming administration. Nigeria is for all.

    14. @Queen b baba did not destroy GEJ, the masses were already fed up with this administration, Baba only supplied comic relief which got people to question his motive. Even if OBJ comes out to contest for election he will fail woefully. The masses now know that their vote is their voice albeit the political parties still hold sway in the choice of people they present as candidates. It is not yet UHURU.

    15. True talk lovelace. But I didn't get to see Obama's acknowledgement of the PDP funds donated though. Na only APC one I see. Well, maybe they didn't publicise it like the APC no gree us hear word. Yes, tinubu stayed calm. How won't he, when rumour started already that he had a hidden agenda to be VP. Make dem ask FFK. They should sha not shame us and make it worthwhile.

  11. For 16 years, people like Ekweremadu and his cronies have seized Enugu state for themselves looting and sharing the collective resources and taking all the federal appointments accrued to the state. At some point, they even refused people from joining the PDP thereby making the party an exclusive club for selected few. He grabbed the Igwe of his place for his dad (now Late), made his brother LG chairman two times and when he finished, he forced him on the people as house of assembly member in Enugu state after forcing the then incumbent (Abel Chukwu) to resign. Very selfish man. Ekweremadu has played god in Enugu West for long. This is the main reason I like this wind of change so that people like Ekweremadu and his cronies can be blown out with time so that we can breathe in Enugu .He is going back to the senate after imposing himself again for the 4th time but let him be rest assured that he is going there now as a floor member (without the paraphernalia of office he has been using to intimidate people) and this will be the beginning of his political oblivion. Same with David Mark who has refused to leave the senate since 1999.

Ekweremadu has done so well for the people of Enugu west....

I have friends from Achi and Inyi both in Enugu west and I can testify that these 2towns are now wearing a new look...
Ike repaired all their roads, gave them good drinking water and electricity...you can go to these places I mentioned to confirm....
Let me also add that he has Ike Oha foundation where he pays school fees for over 1k students in higher institution...mind you,you don't have to be from Enugu west before you can benefit from this ...you can go verify, the place is around brown and brown centre....
Or is it people he is sponsoring for their masters programs abroad??..biko don't talk what you don't know....
All the people in Enugu west voted for him,he don't have to rig...

    2. My dear anon. I understand your disdain towards these individuals for not using their opportunities optimally to the benefit of the common man. Rather it was used for selfish personal gains.
I want you to understand that we need seasoned legislators, as the law and the process of making it is very complex, if we continue to elect new set of lawmakers every four years, it will not augur well for our legislation and democracy.
Don't get me wrong, it is not an excuse to reign with impunity; with the outcome of this election the wise politicians should put their acts together.

He is unstoppable and the true JAGABAN. Am so happy for Nigerians cos Tinubu might not be a saint but with Buhari, Oshinbajo, Fashola, Fayemi, Okorochas, Amaechi, El rufai,Tambuwal, Abike Dabiri,Ngige,Lai Mohammed, John Oyeigun et al all in the CHANGE team, I can assure Nigerians they will deliver. It might be rough in the beginning as Nigeria's treasury had been emptied but Nigerians would be happy in the end. I can see and feel it. God bless Nigeria.
