THE STRIPPER WENT TO HEAVEN

Do you sit down in your comfort zone and judge people by how the outside of their book looks like?
Are you being Judged  because of a wrong turn you took?

Guess what?.......The stripper went to heaven despite all your side eyes accusations!

She walked out of the club angrily
Her last customer had cheated her
She painted her lips, about to leave
Cursing, she tipped the bartender

Walking along the busy road that night
Unaware of the stares her clothes caused
A skimpy dress, so short and tight
Young boys whistled, old women cursed

She got to the junction and waited
Searching her purse for her taxi fare
She saw a tract she earlier collected
Standing under the street light, she read

Hot tears spilling down her pretty face
Guilt tearing her sinful heart apart
Thinking of the life she had chased
She surrendered, inviting Jesus into her life

She boarded the taxi, still sobbing
Choir mistress shifted away, binding and casting
Pastor looked at her, sneering and judging
Mister driver stared at her, clearly laughing

She alighted at 8miles bus stop
Head bowed, weeping and praising God
She didnt see the car or hear the horn
Her body hit the ground, dead and gone

Ohh!! Ashawo don die go hell, driver said
What a waste!! Pastor shook his head
Choir mistress gossiped and spread the story
An angel gave her a crown of glory

So I promised myself from today
That I would never judge a soul again
They all thought her life had ended
But, THE STRIPPER WENT TO HEAVEN!!

    1. I understand
But still sounds like "story for d gods"
There's diff between "fact" n "judge"
      A thief is a thief
A runs gal is a hoe
      Say it as it is
      Its called honesty
Judgin is when I say a runs gal can neva make heaven
Fact is when I say that runs gal MAY end up with a terminal disease like STD

Besides we r not sure she went to heaven, she became sober but maybe has not repented befor the vehicle slam her.

    3. @SixFeeta do you realize many females with real jobs have been dragged and called "runs gals" on blogs by anonymous enemies just to destroy their reputations? Well at the end of the day, these blog comments can never stop the blessings of God from manifesting in the lives of His own. I am a living proof.

    1. There's a big difference between correcting someone and judging them. The greatest commandment is to Love both God and ourselves. So if u abuse, condemned someone to hell, wish dem death or ill luck how can u possibly call that correction or criticism. We should encourage each other lovingly cos we are in no way better than the next person. All our "righteousness" is like filthy rags!

  18. The stipper didn't go to heaven. The changed lady did. I think the post encourages evil and should be condemned. Between dre is a difference btw being critical and being judgemental. I know SDK readers can be really judgemental but dt what makes d blog unique. I personally won't stop criticising evil esp. Our bad leaders....... www.joytammy.blogspot.com

  19. Poster, thank you for this post.

Judging people does not make u any better. What's important is that one makes heaven at the end of the day.

People concentrate so much, on the lives of others that they forget to check themselves.

It's all in God's hands, who to forgive and who not to. Many of us that point our fingers at others do it with pride. That 'sinner' that goes to God in humility gets 100% of God's attention than you 'saint'.

  23. Yeah, coz one out of 100 strippers died and went 2 heaven, we shouldnt discourage pple 4rm d act? The problem with d world right now is once someone comes out 2 say the truth or warn against an abominable act, pple start screaming dt u are judging them. Pls we should always kno the difference btwn stating d fact and judging pple. We can't all be "sin friendly". Enough of all the judging BS. True, they'd always b pple judging others whn they themselves aren't saints, but most of d things pple peak against online ain't judging. I will always tell a prostritute that she is on d wrong track whenever I get d chance.

    3. Eesah u are so correct. Most people take correction and scolding to be judging them. Let's learn to call a spade a spade. If one does the wrong thing, say it the way it is, that's a fact and not judgement. It can be painful, but it helps to build a person up.

    Strippers will go to heaven.

  33. …….This brought tear to my eyes

Every Saint had a Past, and every Sinner have a Future...

Some of the so called saint forget that.

I ( as a teenager then) went to buy fish in the market, saw a young girl of my age about to price an iced fish too.
Suddenly lost control and then collapsed, fell on the ground, the fish sellers (women ) old enough to be her mother started shouting
    “ASHAWO she don do abortion”

None want to help her until a man came carried her up with another lady.

Guessed they took her to the hospital.
I stood at one corner crying, for my fellow little girl, the way everybody judged her.

I was crying for myself too, afraid of what they will do or say to me if I go close to her.

Remembering this still brought tear to my eyes

  34. Well, she was a sinner and most of us are but we prefer to judge others and hide our own sins.
It's human nature and it's wrong, we should try to understand people and not judge them.....this world would be a better place if we can try.

  44. Judge not the bible says. Spare the rod and spoil the child the bible says. Open rebuke is better than secret love the bible also says. Wasnt soddom and gomorra destroyed, wasnt mary magdalene changed, didnt Jezebel die. Use your brain ppl and give God his rest, that evrybody is doing it doesnt it make it right. Time and chance happen to all, but ur time may not be the chance you desperately need.

  47. When does calling a thief a thief being judgmental. Anybody can write whatever they live create a false morality as they please. Being a thief or stripper and dying as one will take you to hell without repentance.
When you see someone doing wrong and you keep quiet because you may be perceived as a hypocrite is worse.
If you are concerned about people, you stop them from entering the express way when you know a fast moving vehicle will knock them off.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The said stripper was saved by God's grace. And how do you acquire God's grace? Love! Love covereth multitude of sins. Very wicked people don't get much of God's grace. There so-called stripers/runs girls that have good hearts more than the so-called 'churcheous'ones. God's grace abounds for good hearted people. We are saved by grace.
