President Jonathan Congratulating Gen Buhari For Winning 2015 Presidential Election.
Awwwww,I almost cried listening to his humble voice and laughed when i heard both use the word ''your excellency''.
Hmmmm...life!!!
It all leaves me clueless!..It is as if Jonathan was tired and wanted to leave,he sounds relieved,he looks weary and tired...He gave up on Nigeria.
He gave up!

He has tried. Who wouldn't want to run from all the wahala? No month passed by in the last four years with news of death caused by the terrorist.
DeleteI knew he was just quietly praying for Buhari to win. Intact don't be so shocked if news filters in that he voted for President Buhari.

Lol,...tired indeed. Nigerians never appreciated his service....
DeleteAnd glo network won't let me watch...
DeleteNonetheless, stella I agree with you. Jonathan as a human being is tired. He is so relieved and that is what it should be for a normal human being. Ruling* isn't an easy thing. But Godfatherisms* and party greed won't let Nigerians step out'f power when they truly know they've exhausted themselves.
He honestly knew that it may have been more bloody if he had remained in power, but bowing down like that to his sponsors wouldn't have been easy. Even his conducts during his campaigns was like someone indirectly crying out *i am out of ideas my people*. He kept circling around talks...
His wife was the one so eager to return to power. And she seemed like a desperate woman that had garnered lots of enemies that she wanted to use the office of the first lady to get back at. If her husband had won, this tenure would have been bad, all thanks to her.
I still applaud Goodluck's gentle and peaceful nature (the outward part we know anyway). He would have ruled better if Nigeria was much more stabilised. His nature is not for the Nigeria of today.
Let the general come in with his toughness. I pray he delivers because Nigerians are watching him. The seat will surely be soo hot**. May God guard him.
#GodblessNigeria#
Congrats Buhari
Delete@ skincare. You are on point Skincare. Big deal! That shows how backward Nigeria is. Being dramatic over what is the norm. I guess that shows Nigeria have a long way to go

DeleteOh God would continue to say how I love jona for ever my man
DeleteWhy didn't you cry? Rubbish...make una de famZ
DeleteLong live @GEJ
DeleteMy hero
@Buhari we are waiting...The world is watching
@Galore
Galore, buhari doesn't get into power until may. Calm down my dear. Jona is still In power right now
DeleteNne,u got it,he is tired,if he really wanted it,he knew what to do,he had power and resources!
Delete@anon I see u have brain issues go fix it ist
DeleteNow buhari is saying we shouldn't expect a miracle that pdp been there for 16 years so it's going to take a gradual process lmao
DeleteStella, I'm so disappointed in you for saying President Good luck have up on Nigerians... How date you say such a thing... Look I live in the north n u sud av seen what dese people were doing all in the name of celebration... That so called celebration would have been a serious massacre and bloodshed. If Good luck didn't back down for buhari, dis country would have been too hot... So please instead of saying he gave up on us... Salute him because he is d true hero... Bye
DeleteGerman u see this politicans are Evil people. Now its pdp. Jonathan was given 5 years and they expect him to do magic. After GEJ's Govt started 5 years ago so Buhari must do the magic he expects GEJ to perform. God is not asleep
DeleteBefore nko,is he a magician or a god dat will. Just turn things around just by pointing a miracle wand at d problem? #rme#make una take una time oo!well well!I understand u pple are now d opposition.(ur schedule for now is to criticise!),no wahala keep working hard and bad belle is allowed#but one sure thing is dat d least our govt will deliver will be better than Jona's best.yes!watch this space #
DeleteNyway Stells u said GEJ gave up on nigeria,i. Don't think so,rather he gave up on all d hawks and sycophants around him,d lies they told him,d wrong paths they made him thread and worst of all d shame and disgrace they brought upon him letting him loose woefully,a sitting president? Smh!all dese sum up to why he threw in d towel even before d game was up!i also heard from reliable sources that some of dose hawks were particularly inciting him dat afternoon when it was obvious Buhari was winning to go d way of african dictatorship by rejecting the results and insisting on cancellation since he has d military in his palms to douse any resistance.infact I heard dis loyalist was in tears begging Jona to do dis and mama peace refused to intervene,(of course we know which course' she will likely support, lol)smhh!
So this were d pple he gave up on knowing that taking that decision will plunge in deeper in trouble while dey will maintain their position and continue looting the treasury!...dats why I said dis is d only decision he has taken on his own in his entire lifetime!nyway God bless u Jona for listening to d voice of d pple which is d voice of God and not dose self centred dragons around u.
Queen bee go rest u no get noting to say all I heard u say wad blah blah
DeleteStuffs Queen Bees mouth with her filthy undies byeee
DeleteExactly what I told some people. It's like he was tired and was just too relieved to pass on the mantle.
ReplyDeleteWell, Naija needs a passionate leader. Thank God he realised it's better for him to accept his fate.
The man prefers to jollificate with entertainers than face the more serious issue of governance.
Talk with sense..u hear??kpass
DeletePoint of correction Stella, he didn't gave up. He didn't feel relieved. It easy voice anybody can use, do u want him to sound weak, av seen a lot of people dat ll pretend on phone and physically as if everytin us ok but deep down is hot like fire.we need change.
DeleteNo b small giving up.
DeleteLMAO @ he gave up! Stella and drama lol. GEJ did his best, let him rest. He did well, we were just too ungrateful and blind to see dat. Shebi Nigerian say dey want change, Nigerian will get change, I just hope it won't be more than u bargained for.
DeleteLips sealed and watching #inEesah'svoice#
Buhari's my true hero,he was magnanimous in victory. He spoke with such humility despite the numerous attacks on his person, they went as far as using his late daughter to draw his ire but the man remained focused and unruffled till the end.For those that're wishing him ill-luck,just try to acknowledge it when things start changing for the better in and around your lives.
DeleteGod bless the Nigeria,
God bless the President-elect,
God bless the President,
God blee us all!
God bless you! He sounded very humble on tape too! All this 'heroism' drama I tire!
DeleteNice one. That's the way to move a country forward.
ReplyDeleteAm Happy GEj left Aso villa in peace, Healthy and strong and came out alive with his wife. My hero any day any time
DeleteLol Chineyelu why did you change your surname the past 3 days after GMB won. Is Okenyeka your new surname or is part of "Change" ?
DeleteThis is wrong on every level....This was suppose to be
DeleteA private conversation, and it's out there. A whole presidential call been listened, by every tom should an urgent security issue.
Bye bye to jati jati. Cry me a river.
DeleteBuhari a man of great character and integrity. That's the real hero right there.
Can Igbo forgive the North west and move on so they can take their right place at the top in Nigeria
Jonathan sounded more excited during the short congratulatory call than Buhari the winner sef. Buhari sounded gloomy...a bit distant. Well, na wetin I observe be that. Too emotional for me.
Delete**sniff**
Jaymoore u no serious. That has been my Surname nah. Na wa ooo
DeleteI really thank God for the life of Jonathan.
ReplyDeleteHe has left in peace .
This is something this aboki couldn't do in 2011.........react is reciprocal.....just imagine the way they spoke cordially....God bless u Jonathan for leading the way to change.....same humilty and slow approach that nigerians blamed ubfor during ur tenure is what is earning international and local appreciation and respect......Sai baba...pls bring more positive change.......Stella u must enjoy me
ReplyDeleteWhich leader wont be tired of nig??
ReplyDeleteI love GEJ to the moon and back and nothing can ever change that.
DeleteGod bless his humble soul for me I will so miss his calm demeanor.
Long live GEJ,
Long live Nigeria.
Jona thank God that you did not allow our enemies within and outside to make Nigeria break up.
ReplyDeleteyou showed you are matured unlike some animals that will fight and bring more blood shed in this country
So many christians prayed for the peace of Nigeria. Shame to America that was prepared for Nigeria Post Election Violence Nigeria is God's Own Country
DeleteGEJ d real game changer,God bless u sir. It's bn peaceful since Gmb won,he has atleast called his boko boys to order,&did anyone noticed there has bn no bombings of recent?
DeleteChange is here as dey say,so I hope to enjoy constant power 24/7,&other basic amenities as frm May29.

DeleteLMAO, Stella, u are such a funny woman, mgbo 'he gave up on Nigeria,' if na u, u nor go give up? With Nigerians insulting him and calling him clueless, don't blame d man biko.
ReplyDeleteIn fact anyone that can carry Nigeria's matter for head should be given a special place to seat in heaven when we all reach there.
DeleteWith people like even the small community that we have on this blog, with different characters as we dey take cause trouble here, so imagine the entire populace with every character represented... Oh boi it's not an easy something.
Ordinary class captain work and school prefect work I was assigned back in secondary school nearly killed me. E remain small make I fail WAEC that time o, because I carry school matter for head. While my mates were reading I would be running after unruly juniors to punish them, mobilizing one thing or another, compiling lists for teachers etc. So imagine having to deal with a whole country as ours.
That time sef, all my mates will be struggling and famzing me, wanting me to do things that'll please them, in the process I accrued enemies that I couldn't please.. this is exactly what Jonathan faced and I can relate to it. You can't please world people. Very soon they'll pick on Sai baba. Torr
My hero, best president, he is even trending more than the aboki , even when the aboki won
ReplyDeleteHe has tried. Who wouldn't want to run from all the wahala? No month passed by in the last four years with news of death caused by the terrorist.

He was tired, they made his leadership frustrating,he was young wen he entered, but white hair show inside too many wahala. I salute U GEJ,U too much, that God U still hv Ur life n health intact.
ReplyDeleteThe most annoying part of this ....whats the fuss about? why the recording of his calls!! This gets to show that even the APA craps feel they not secured!!
ReplyDeleteThey were expecting a fight!!
This whole APC team has something to hide and all we Nigerians will watch!! We need CHANGE..not from all these old fools!! APC,PDP,KOWA,AD,NPP,AD,SDP etc
Youngs brains and mind should raise and lets get our own political party and demand and rights.
We youths own Nigeria!!
Why ddnt you come out to run or bring someone to run??? Ode!!! Sit here and be yanning dust. The only reason there wasn't trouble was a man that was so relieved to let go ddnt bother waiting for results and quickly clutched at the escape route! He was very smart cos if the other PDP vultures had been with him at the time he would never have done that. So shut up and just say thank God

ReplyDeleteHe meant every word when he said he was not going to run for second term...
ReplyDeleteI guess party pressure, allegiance and loyalty made he run again...He was their best candidate.
I love you Sir.
Yea..."they" made him run against his wishes...
DeleteI cried watching him.
I Felt sadness.

i Felt he was Tired.
and I Felt he was just plain relieved!
U did ur best Sir.and m not ashamed to say I love u.
And may God bless u.
*him
DeleteAbeg Iphie stop.
DeleteI loved him first
Yes he clearly was being pressurized by the PDP hawks who pushed him there in the first place. Once he saw an escape route he quickly grabbed it! Remember he was with the peace ppl led by abubakar. If it was all them Okupe and deziani with him they would have never allowed him make that call!!!!!
DeleteYou are not serious irene. Lol
DeleteTired of waiting? If I hear, so na mama peace uncle Jonathan be dey campaign for?
ReplyDeleteLol you'd give up if it were you Stella
ReplyDeleteThat sounded akward very akward! So many mumblings here and there! Phew wldnt hve wanted to be in neither shoes
ReplyDeleteLife is turn by turn
ReplyDeleteI was touched when I listened to this audio, not because President Jonathan called but because Buhari addressed him with respect. Buhari may be a good a good man after all... time will tell.
ReplyDeleteThat's the spirit, time and prayers're the most valuable gifts you can give him.Would it be so wrong for every Nigerian, regardless where you come from to have access to a better quality of life?Where things work and rule of law's king...
DeleteKunle u are a fool. Because if you are a Military Officer you will speak less. You won't condemn your president or talk ill about your country. You wish you are a Military Officer, Disclose your Identity

ReplyDeleteA good man
ReplyDeleteA hero
My hero
Nigeria will never forget you in a hurry for all your goodwill.
You are so tolerant and free minded
You are the true definition of a demoratic leader.
It's time for you to enjoy your life with your wifey Mama Peace and leave Nigeria with the numerous problems and forces disturbing her.
Stella I disagree with you
ReplyDeletehe didn't give up on Nigeria
Some nigerians gave up on him... huge difference.
@Mrs CJ he gave up on Nigeria... do u know the power a sitting president of a country wields? especially a president of Nigeria that's almost lawless where all u can do is write about corruption on social media. He gave up on Nigeria... he was tired of power...
DeleteYep he was tired o. No one dare deny that!!!!! I can imagine the shock on the hawks' faces when they heard he made the call! Lollllllll! All them deziani, wike, pe pe, Reuben etc screaming nooooooo inside Hahahaha! Jobs don't mind them Jo carry go!!!
DeleteI love my presdo GEJ and I will miss him and mama peace...
ReplyDeleteTruly they are humble and peace makers...

Thanked you for every word. Can we be friendship?
Delete@patience Jonathan moniker You keeed me with laughter oo ... Now that's one piece am gonna miss about this duo. Such is life , it goes on ! God bless Nigeria!!
DeleteHe didn't gave up on Nigeria cos he was so desperate, they believed riging ll work but Nigerians stop up for their selves. He should gave up on people surrounded him and is mama war wife
ReplyDeleteUr English is terrible mehn...
DeleteGosh!!
Which kind talk be this Stella?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Stella. I have been feeling that way too. its like 'abeg may this people carry go, i don tire' sigh!!!
ReplyDeleteWe thank God for everything.
God Bless Nigeria.
We prayed for peace before, during and after the elections, and God heard our prayers..THERE IS PEACE in the country..if the reverse was the case, what happened in 2011 would be child's play compared to what would've happened..
ReplyDeleteWhy did they release the phone call? These people are so childsih. When have we ever heard about other countries releasing phone calls? Isn't this a breach of national security? Smh
ReplyDeleteC'mon no big deal. I'm sure no harm was intended. Normally, calls like this will be scrutinized by political analysts. Like when a game of football is being analyzed. It's just for political gist made out to highlight the general demeanour of the applicants. It's a historic call mind u
DeleteIt appears that he doesn't wanna continue but since they've raised the money, what else can he do but to keep playing, this man get sense o. If him say No, him people fit kill'am so the best way is to allow Jega conduct free/fair election. I still like him shah #BraveGEJ.
ReplyDeleteFunny Stella-hahahahaah 'he gave up on Nigeria', indeed Naija wahala no be hia.
Hmn hmn, oh now i get it.
DeleteThat explains why he was dishing out money to the obas including Stella
That explains the rigging @ Enugu
That explains the sudden compensation awarded to the family of the dead applicants
That explains the 3 weeks stay in Lagos jus to cover al loop holes
That explains the attempt to force Jega out of office
Oh! Hmn he juz had to do it coz he had 21 billz naira
Now i get it. Chai ure so intelligent
And the church visit
DeleteNo stella he did not give up ,he tried his best but it was just not good enough.so stop this pity party.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't help but feel sad the way it all turned out for President GEJ,wish him all the best.
ReplyDeleteHe didn't give up on Nigeria, just couldn't steady the ship any longer, not with some of the people surrounding him becoming a huge hinderance rather than help.
U so dramatic stella, get real how did this make u almost cry haba
ReplyDeleteI have come to respect GEJ the more for his maturity and humility. He is indeed a gentleman only surrounded by the wrong people. I wish both of them the best and pray GOD will continue to bless Nigeria. Amen.
ReplyDeleteNitty.
He didn't give up Stella. He was just happy to be leaving alive! Poor man had the enemy in his camp! Let him go and rest and thank God for His life.
ReplyDeleteHe is a good man.nigerians will miss him, and I know we will always remember him.by the time ur fulani man stars hmmmmm, u will all wish for good luck
ReplyDeleteJonathan just want to allow that pussy to rule,he did not give up!!
ReplyDeleteGej2019! No vacancy @ Aso Rock. Ure 1 of d many reasons he lost that seat. No be by mouth!!!
DeleteSINCERELY SPEAKING IF TO SAY jONATHAN SHOULD WIN, HE HAS NO CLUE TO RUN THIS COUNTRY BEYOND 2015, HIS AIDES WILL START STEALING/SCAMING HIM, INSTEAD OF SCAMMING THE GOVERNMENT COS GOVERNMENT RESCOURCES IS SCARCE.
ReplyDeleteJonathan can not do otherwise, he knew he will loose the election, he failed and everyone knows, its only into Nigeria such failure will even have up to the vote he had in the election.
ReplyDeleteJega is the Hero Coz he refused to be compromised.
Before u express ur opinion in public, I think u should be well grounded... do u know the meaning of "incumbent power" u fink if Goodluck had made this election a do or die affair, he wouldn't hv won... think... winning is way simpler than u think... with 1 easy step... removing Jega... afterall, he put him there. what would hv happened afterwards? Cries of corruption on social media wen the deed is already done...medicine after death. Goodluck ws simply tired of th power that complicated his 1ce simple life. that's that
DeleteGej seem like a perfect gentleman who does not want too much stress in his life.he never planned to be a president, hes not die hard politician but was elevated by God. he must have been tired of all the accusations of a failing nation,he was too faint hearted to rule a nation as nigeria especially when the opposition has promised to make the country un governable so they do everything frustrate his government.he's just like that perfect family man, that takes lightly the things of life. God bless Gej
ReplyDeleteI love u Gej, for being a man of peace. Unlike some ppl...
ReplyDeleteI don't know why everyone is Just praising Pres Jonathan for conceeeding defeat, as if it was something out of this world. Some even went as far as praising him for not allowing war to happen and dousing the tension with the call. Fine let's look at this from some points of view
ReplyDeleteAgreed the president called GMB to congratulate him which is commendable and not Heroic, do we even know what being an hero is in Nigeria. So we are now saying that anyone can become a president and on his first term do next to nothing, polarise the polity, divide us in ethnic and religious lines courtesy of the people surrounding him(his wife inckuaive), then perform below expectation, so when it's time to go for the ballot for his second term, he should appoint people that would preach hate against the contestant, preach tribalism, give contract to militia men and praise mediocrity in all aspects, divide every region against themselves and some little time towards the election make the country so hot to the brink of war, then when he looses the election or when it is sure he was going to loose, he should call his opponent and conceed defeat so we will all shout to high heaven and start praising him and calling him a hero as if he would have done otherwise. So setting up a free and fair election is Heroic as if it's not what is expected of him in the first instance.
I feel it's high time that we Nigerians should not let sentiment get into us so much that when someone does what's is right and is expected of him, we start praising such person as if doing otherwise is what such person should have done. fyi.... GEJ lost 2 of the 3 polling units in ASO ROCK that's to tell you that the people never wanted him there anymore, what does this tell you of someone that has been the land lord on the villa in the past 4 years or more. Let's always try and look at issues holistically and not aentimentally
Who eva u are! U ar stupid and senseless! If Jonathan wntd to rig this election" he wud hv done so and thr wud be nothing either U nor Ur Family and ur Entire generation wud do about it.. useless biased tribalistic bigot... a man who devoured all his advicers and party demands for peace to reign! He sacrificed..put down his pride and meant it when he said" my political ambition doesnt worth the blood if his innocent citizens! And u are here spewin trash..useless fowl
DeleteShut up your stinking mouth! If GEj walks in here, u will lick his shoes for favor. I don't blame u, its Stella that gave nonentities like u an avenue to feel important .
DeleteGoodluck is seen as a hero nt because he called 2 congratulate GMB but because he chose 1 Nigeria over power and politics... hope u remember that when he won in 2011, GMB promised 2 make Nigeria ungovernable and true to his word, Nigeria became ungovernable... now same threats had started... he conceded for the sake of peace... he chose the life of the ungrateful Nigerians over power... if that's not heroic, u should rewrite the dictionary and change the meaning of the word "hero"
DeleteMy dear,Shhhhh!!!!
DeleteJudging from the history of Nig's elections,GEJ is a hero. Take it or leave it...
Don't mind these goats jare I agree with you 100%! I'm sure Jonathan even voted for Buhari!
DeleteStella you live in a country with the strongest economy in the world being run by a woman - Angela Merkel. A well respected woman by all the power leaders and should know better and stop being dramatic with them for someone doing the norm thing. That action is precedent in Nigeria just like Fayemi did in Ekiti too many minths ago but that is what is expected and should be done.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm, it is well. I commend his courage to accept defeat readily. Its so rare in this part of the world to find a leader that will do such.
ReplyDeleteWe are entering a new phase in Nigeria now and I hope and pray that things will turn around for good.
#GODBLESSNIGERIA
He has so much to shoulder..he felt so relieved
ReplyDeleteMe I can't even last a week on that seat,Its too freaking hot..You will just keep fighting, both spiritual, physical and otherwise.Fear of the unknown nko..Jona just go and rest, you did well
He display a high level of bravery. He remains a Hero to me,Win or Lose.
I know that one day for sure, we all will remember GEJ for good. A prophet has no respect in his home town. This man is a perfect gentle man that we all took for granted including is cabinet members.

ReplyDeleteVery true.....one day go be one day!!!

ReplyDeleteIs it not enough to give up on Nigeria. Nigeria and her issues. One year into office, Buhari will understand why Jonathan was happy to leave the seat for him. Jona has my respect. I am proud to be Niger Deltan. Nothing is do or die for us

ReplyDeleteJonathan is a good man.
ReplyDeleteHe's just not a leader.
And Buhari sounds sincere as well.
Thank you!
DeleteTo me this just shows how low Nigeria is, the fact that he is applauded for doing what is supposed to be done. He lost and he stepped down, that is what I supposed to be done he shouldn't be glorified for that. We do not get applauded every day for doing what should be done.
ReplyDeleteYeah how many people have done that, even in the more civilized countries. Which Nigerian past president have done it
Deletehe is such a humble man
Did GMB ever accept defeat in all his previous elections ? Did GMB ever think of peace and wellfare of Nigerians when he openly instigated his supporters shed blood not did he ever come out go apologize or what ? Did he really care ? But for his own selfish ambition !
DeleteKudos to him
ReplyDeleteI wish buhari all he wished GEJ in office....GOD is watching us all.

ReplyDeleteStella, Jonathan didn't give up on Nigeria. He is an educated leader and will not fight like that violent illiterate.
ReplyDeleteIf you followed the live stream, you will understand that the Northerners betrayed him... what happened in Adamawa, where the governor is a PDP man?
Even Adama Muazu and Isa Yuguda could not deliver Bauchi state.
Benue state nko? Where the senate president comes from and even Niger state. Smh
Ayo Fayose has proven himself a loyal man, may God bless him.
This election has taught me that there is nothing like one Nigeria. We are not one!!!
An average Hausa man is a green snake. I only pity the foolish southerners who are chanting "sai baba" because of one promise or the other. It is only matter of time before y'll know what you signed up for.
As far as I'm concerned, that sick, old illiterate is not my president and can never be!
My love for Jonathan will remain till the end of time. Long live GEJ
I have been praying to God to spear GEJ's life following the desperation of the opposition party to take over power. Thanks be to. God he is alife
ReplyDeleteA note to my fellow South Easterners: I hope we have all learnt the hard way not to put all our eggs in one basket. we have succeeded in short changing ourselves because of ethnic and religious sentiments. I hear rumors that if Ngige had won, he would have been the Senate President and the top three positions would have been occupied by the three major ethnic groups, but as it is now, it may go to North central. I hope to God that at least one APC member from the South East won House of Reps. if not, the Speaker's position might go to d West. We did not have a plan B, just in case and now, we are paying for it. Tompolo thanked the SS and SE for voting GEJ but of what use is d thanks if it does not translate to participation for us? I hope we have learnt our lessons.
ReplyDeleteGej is my hero... from deputy governor to governor to vice president to president..wow! And now a hero commended by d world... he I s truly blessed..
ReplyDeleteCry na, at least his not ur own hero
