#NigeriaDecides2015 : Rochas Okorocha Wins Imo State, Okezie Ikpeazu Wins Abia State, Darius Ishaku Leading In Taraba State

Following the Saturday gubernatorial re-run election in Abia, Imo and Taraba States, the Incumbent Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has been declared winner. 

Mr. Okorocha, an APCcandidate won with a total number of 416,996 votes while the PDP candidate, Mr Emeka Ihedioha, had a total number of 320,705 votes.







In declaring Mr. Okorocha as winner in Owerri, the Returning officer stated that that the total number of valid votes amounted to 782,528.


In Abia State, The PDP candidate, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, however, won by beating Dr. Alex Otti of APGA with 248,459 votes to 165,406.


In Taraba state, the winner is yet to be declared but the PDP candidate, Darius Ishaku, is leading Sen. Aisha Alhassan of the APC going by the results at hand as the time of this report.

For instance, in Kofar Sarki in Takum Local Government polling unit, the PDP had 588 votes against the APC’s 7.

At Suntai Daaji in Donga Local Government Area, the PDP got 1,139 against APC’s 74.


At Asibiti ward in Donga Local Government Area PDP scored 4,412 while APC had 604.

And I was wondering whether it isn't the same AIT that finished Tinubu with the hate campaign not too long ago? Even as they are still in court. Na wa ooo.
