  17. FROM MY INBOX

Soldiers currently beating up @channelstv Reporters in Rumuomasi area of Port Harcourt

Armed thugs have hijacked electoral materials in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo state.

In Ibiono Ibom, Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East in the National Assembly, Ita Enang reported that electoral materials in his unit, Ikot Akpan Nya Ididep, and all other polling units in the area were carted away at about 9 a.m. by armed agents . They left only the photocopies of the result sheets.

    2. I've been following them bumper to bumper. All I have noticed, Stella, is that some people are their own enemies and not the 'bad government' everyone is shouting.

Imagine how the electoral process has been painstakingly organized to soothe us all without hassles, yet, some are creating problem where there is none. Me think that some people have a covenant with the devil to always see and shed blood, cos I can't understand why there was sporadic shootings and a few killings in some states today after the presidential election was conducted peacefully without incidents.

They sha wanted to see blood and they've seen it. Makes me wonder whether this time, the govt or INEC is to blame, or the select citizens who instigated chaos.

It is time that everyone takes responsibility for his or her actions, and stop apportioning blame to the federal govt. Jonathan or Buhari did not cause this one, neither did Akiolu start the chaos. So who'll be blamed for this menace and malpractices recorded in the affected states? Hijacking of ballot boxes and harassment of the electoral officers

God will shame all those who are trying to subdue the collective efforts of every Nigerian seeking to maintain peace and order. If you've lost out live with it, the people have spoken and their votes will count whether they like it or not. Can't deal

  20. In my area, Gbagada, it's going peacefully. Infact, I was accredited in about 10mins after I came out. Very organized unlike the presidential when I was accredited at 4:30 and voted @ 9:30....

  24. Very low turn out at my polling unit, I didn't even have to join a queue to get accredited. I just got there and got accredited immediately. I spent less than 5 minutes there unlike the presidential elections where I spent 1 hour on the queue just to get accredited. People should come out and vote pls

    ReplyDelete

    1. I don't know why people refused to turn out for this election, they forget that the gubernatorial election is even more important than the presidential. As the governors u vote are the closest to making things right for u in ur jurisdiction before u get to the federal level. But I guess majority were more interested in who became president than who governs their respective states. Amazing

He said they were many doing this thumb printing for APC in lag. So how is our own vote now going to count? Its so disheartning jare!!
