Banks Are Now Using Female Marketers To Woo Senators And Reps-Elect..

Commercial banks have sent marketers, mostly females after newly-elected senators and members of the House of Representatives in Abuja to open discussions on investments and other business deals.

The energetic, sweet-talking and mostly female marketers, flooded the International Conference Centre, venue of an ongoing induction course for the new arrivals on Monday.

Investigations by The PUNCH showed that the target of the banks largely was to woo the lawmakers to open accounts with them.

Some of the smartly dressed marketers also offered loan opportunities they claimed their banks could guarantee with “friendly repayment terms.”

Over 290 members of the House for example, are newcomers, out of the total of 360.

In the Senate, about 69 senators are also newcomers, out of 109.

Findings showed that the marketers started tracing the lawmakers since Sunday night when Senate President, David Mark, declared the induction programme open at the Transcorps Hotel, Abuja.

“They flooded the Congress Hall of the hotel Sunday night.

“They didn’t give the lawmakers breathing space, as they offered all sorts of facilities (loans) and seeking to maintain their accounts,” a senior legislative aide confided in The PUNCH on Monday.

A member of the House earns around N27.9m every quarter as official allowance.

Presiding officers and other principal officers receive higher figures.

This excludes a monthly salary of N1m.

Senators collect over N30m as quarterly allowance and receive higher salaries than their House counterparts.

    1. Shut up. If you work in operations, you can be good. And mind you, not every banker sleeps with anyone to get anything. A female banker in PH was given a traget of 50mil. Something told her to talk to her pastor about it, when she did. He directed her to the senior pastor who opened a church account at her bank through her. The lady was promoted instantly as she over reached her target. The name of the church is Salvation Ministries PH. And PH BVs know hoe huge that church is in Rivers State.

Now, this is a true story shared to me by my friend who knows the parties involved. And my friend does not lie.

    3. I used to think like you but when i was told that story, i just had a paradigm shift. Not everyone sleeps to get ahead. God does and works in mighty ways.

Someone who does not know the lady and her Salvation story will see at the bank and say she slept her way through. Not everyone compromises.

      God is awesome.
The fact you and people you may know sell your bodies for cash dont mean, others do and will.

As they recruit now specifically for politicians it means they also encourage corruption because if politicians don't see their elected position as avenue to be corrupt why would banks see them as potential milk and honey.

I dare anyone of you to write a good credit and defend same by opening your legs.

  41. GMB had better start with their salaries as a stepping stone to change... I guess this quarterly allowance is to be used for the wards they govern right? Some of them use it for themselves, which is unfair. Their monthly salary should be split into three if you ask me, after all? they enjoy other benefits. ...

As for banks using their marketers, well, that's nothing new! These marketers prostitute themselves and it is a known fact. They are told to do WHATEVER it takes, including sleep with these men/women. A customer might come with a proposition to your MD about millions he wishes to deposit, but he wants a certain banker to see to it. Your MD in turn, puts you on the transaction, and tells you not to come back without the said amount. If you do not agree, you lose ur job simple! 75% of bankers do this, the only 25% that don't, are either married, or from rich backgrounds, or simply had a connect that kept them safe from all that....I've seen it happen in the past, it's still happening today...sad as it may be, that's the world we live in.
