Akwa Ibom And Oyo States Guber Results.....Ajimobi Stays!


Final result of the 2015 Gubernatorial election as announced by Oyo State REC.




APC (Ajimobi) - 327,310 (winner)


Accord (Ladoja) -254,520

Labour (Akala) -184,111
PDP (Folarin) -79,019
SDP (Makinde) -54,740



Former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala of Oyo State and candidate of the Labour Party in Oyo have called to congratulate the winner, Governor Abiola Ajimobi.As Accord Party agent refused to sign the result sheet claiming his party will challenge the result at the Tribunal.






Akwa Ibom 2015 gubernatorial result as announced by REC:

PDP -996,071 (winner)
APC -89,865
Labour -86,000

  2. There's protest currently going on in Uyo, Oron road to be precise.
    The masses are protesting the election results, and calling for cancellations of the just concluded elections.
    I hope it dosnt turn violent abeg.

      1. Do I have bail money in my pocket...or can my family members in the village afford bail

    3. @Bitcplis as in ehn. Oyo's election was quite an interesting one to follow. Considering the participants who are grassroot politicians and ex governors in the state. They should have merged to form a formidable force if they had wanted to chase APC or Ajumobi away.
      But self righteousness, over confidence, and greed made them seek independent votes.... even as they lack individual merits as against their antecedents. It was a tough cookie.

  5. As expected... so it's safe to say PDP is a SS/SE party while APC is a Northern/Yoruba party.

    PDP took Nigerians for granted when they were the ruling party and the tide has turned against them. I will advise PDP to be extraordinary, make good use of their allocations and touch the lives of the people they have been elected to govern and maybe in a few years, they might get to the center again and be the governing party. The only constant thing in life is change.
