Rivers State Deputy Governor Decamps From APC To PDP

Drama extraordinaire!

Rivers state deputy governor has crossed over to the other party ooooh.....

This is his speech

My dear People of Rivers State, I bring you honest and sincere greetings. Today, I address you out  of the fullness of my heart. Recall that in December 2013, out of extreme loyalty to my Boss and friend, I joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) along with other then disillusioned Rivers People. Ever since, as the true nature and motives of APC are unveiled, I have continued to twist and turn in extreme mental and emotional agony. The more I struggle to belong, the more the Rivers man in me rejects the APC.

After carefully studying, interacting and analysing the leadership of the party, I have come to the sad conclusion that the APC is a party of rebels, insurgents and anarchists, clothed in robes of pretence and deceit. APC is a party founded on deception and it thrives on unholy propaganda and falsehood.

I therefore, on behalf of my teaming supporters, and my humble self-denounce the APC and we all jointly and severally resign our membership of the APC. My dear people of Rivers State, we of this generation will not in good conscience expect forgiveness and compassion from our forebears, posterity, and the spirit of our unborn generations if it is recorded in the annals of history that after 48 Years of Rivers people supporting leaders from all other parts of this country with our votes and resources, we were the same that witch hunted and hounded down the very first ever President from this region, granted us by providence. I wash my hands off this treachery.

In the light of the above, I wish to urge all My Supporters, the Good People of Rivers State to join hands with other well-meaning Nigerians to massively vote for President GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN (GCFR) and the Transformation Agenda that has brought so much relief and succour to the greatest number of Nigerians. I also urge all Rivers People to vote for Chief Barr Nyesom Wike (CON), who has shown by his antecedents, track records and boundless capabilities that he will deliver good governance to the People of Rivers State.
Thank You and God Bless You All Abundantly.

Engr Tele Ikuru.

    2. My dear all of them are the same. Some who are with APC today defected from the PDP, and vice versa.

Like one man was saying earlier, that the citizenry is always over sensitive and aggressive when it comes to politicians and our allegiance to certain political parties. He said that during the 2011 dispensation some rugged partisans died because of Amechi when he was not yet with the APC.

That they fought and quarrelled with anyone who mentioned APC or objected to his governance back then. But that today, some of them are dead, while Amechi has moved to be with the same APC.

Essentially he was trying to say that we shouldn't fight or kill ourselves over these people, because tomorrow they can become friends with the perceived.. or their present day enemy. .

You and I have a lot to lose, while they dont care, they are self serving while the citizens suffer gross impoverishment.
      That's all and good morning

Dakuku is not even from rivers state his mum is from opobo rivers state but he is not. His mum brought him to opobo as a b( you know the word I don't want to curse anyone before APC bv go chop me) but that is the truth even in his so called community he is not guaranteed victory...anyone that sees the light knows that PDP is the better of two evils....tele ikuru God bless you for seeing the truth

    6. Sometimes I wonder if we the Igbos are curse or are we the cause of our own problems . I put all the blames for our so called elders who have sold us out just for their own selfish gains ,thereby reducing us to a minority in Nigeria now. Gej has not been fair to the Igbos and it still surprises me how our gullible elders have all endorsed Gej bcos of the money they have received. Am surprised to hear Gej said he he built over 25000km of road nation wide and one wonders if Igbos road are not among the Nigerian roads ?? I also wonders if the rail way that they are talking about, if south east is not among Nigeria ?? What is really going on my people ?for hw long will Gej continue to fool us ?? Is this not the same man that promised us that same 2nd niger bridge in 2011 when we gave him 99% of our votes ?? My peole, can one ask our AGIP brothers..peter obi, Anyim, and co what their man has done for the Igbos in the last 6 yrs ?? The so call international airport is nothing but a scam. I weep for my zone, if an ordinary fisher man can take we the igbos for granted. They see us as people that can sell even their own parents for money. They have stuffed our people with money and think it will be be as usual , no way. They will be dissappointed .

Its only when Gej and pdp wants to decieve us, he attaches Azikiwe to his name, but once after election, Azikiwe dissappears . Who is fooling who ?? My people, let’s be wise . Gej is not an igbo man and he hates our people. He has failed in all the promises he made to us in the last 6 yrs and here now, he wants to put toll on our niger bridge. Tell me, where else in this country have u heard about this ?? I thank God that a few people among us has suddenly waken up . # vote wisely

    2. @ Nora: pls where did u go to enter the train going to PH from Enugu? Have u been to the place u referred to as federal university Otuoke? Am sure u've not been there but probably read about it on the pages of the newspaper. U mentioned Youwin programme. Wat of the Gwin? U mentioned east west road. Are u aware that east west road was started after Amaechi started challenging Jonathan on it. The fact remains that GEJ failed the Niger Deltans. This he has equally accepted and is now pleading for a second tenure to enable him make it up to his people. If he loses this election, his people will never forgive him. That is why some Niger Deltans are supporting him so that they can at least get some federal govt attention to their region and not bcos he has done well.

  42. The Rivers State Governor Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has only this evening received the news of the resignation of his Deputy Governor Engr Tele Ikuru from the All Progressives Congress,” says the statement. Whilst the news remains unofficial at this time as the Deputy Governor is yet to notify His Excellency the Governor of this move, Governor Amaechi however wishes Engr Ikuru all the best in his future political endeavours. He however wishes to note that the reasons adduced by Engr Ikuru are shocking as Deputy Governor lkuru has consistently been the one driving political activities in his local government area of Andoni and has been the second in command driving politics and governance in Rivers state. On a personal note, Governor Amaechi has accorded Engr Ikuru all the privileges and respect due the office of the Deputy Governor and has treated him with love as a friend brother. Though the Governor had hoped that the numerous rumors of Engr Ikuru’s double-faced membership of the APC and open romance with the PDP were not true, he however appreciates the fact that every individual has a right to pursue his political dreams, as he deems most appropriate. It is however regrettable that Engr Ikuru has chosen the dishonourable path of barefaced lies and name-calling rather than the more honourable path of simply retracing his steps to where he has always been.”

An attorney who gave a review from rivers regarding this earlier on m, said that this singular act is going to make PDP win rivers state. Anyway we shall see

But I noticed that most of these deputy governors that fall out with their principals do so for selfish reasons, and not because of the interest of the people they were called to serve. It's either because they feel sidelined money wise, or because they think that they aren't given enough responsibilities in their respective jurisdiction. Nonsense.

  60. Wow! His press release makes sense. No point fighting ur brother. The guy is a fine dude, with a quiet composure. He has the aura of a leader. He should of been governor and not that Amaechi rascal.

    1. The many sins of Buhari.
Some of the people blind folded by the APC toga of 'change' do not clearly understand what they are getting into, while I agree that you have some decent elements in the party APC. Yes decent human beings that are better respected and even I regard as great mentors of society and generations to come. This class of people are well liked and highly respected individuals that you may not compare them with some rascals and truants that you may find in other parties. I often wonder why the APC is a party filled with 'strange bed fellows', if you check the composition of the APC you would discover that it is a party filled predominantly of desperate and disgruntled politicians from the PDP and other parties.

  63. It's Simple! Proverbs 24 vs 20 - 22. The deputy Governor knows the truth, and the truth has set him free. Amaechi had better wake up, he's on the brink of destruction. The word of God is real, only a fool says there's no God.
