Olamide Badoo Celebrates 26th Birthday In Dubai...

Born 15 March 1989, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known by his stage name Olamide, marks his 26th birthday today!

The Nigerian hip hop recording artist sings mostly in Yoruba, his native tongue. Some of his popular songs are Ghost mode, Durosoke, Bend down low, Omo to Shan.

He was signed to ID Cabasa's Coded Tunes record label and was managed by Toni Payne, where he released his debut studio album Rapsodi in 2011. In 2012, he left Coded Tunes and started his own record label YBNL Nation.

Olamide has won several music awards, including multiple Nigeria Entertainment Awards and The Headies Awards. Also endorsement deals with Etisalat, Guinness and Ciroc.

He was the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with Cîroc in 2013, ranking him with other international representatives like Rick Ross and French Montana.

Olamide recently welcomed a baby boy, named Batifeori Maximiliano Adedeji, with his baby mama and long time girlfriend, Aishat Suleiman.

When asked why he decided to pursue a career in music, said: "I found out I was gifted in it so I had to explore it, it's my life, my hustle, my world".

Olamide Badoo is currently in Dubai turning up with his 'goons' to mark his birthday. Here are some of the birthday pictures. ...

Happy birthday, Olamide!

God bless your efforts and keep you above your peers..
Even though I don't understand what you sing, I like arguing with hubby about you been the best rapper than phyno, MI and Ice prince.. Even though deep down, I know the best it.. Sorry but it's not you for me and that's because I don't understand Yoruba at all. But arguing with hubby over irrelevant things makes me happy. I like seeing how he puts his point and trying to make me see his side. LMAO

    3. The dogonyaro song encourages forced carnal knowledge AKA RAPE!
      Translation/Brief Summary
You bought and took intoxicants and orishirishi for the girl, she said she was not interested , you say story for the gods (that's her business!)
Money isn't everything, rubbish role models but financially successful crop of musicians we have nowadays, sad!

    5. Drinking alcohol , hanging with cheap and loose women (groupies) are now seen as signposts of success and we complain the society is going backwards morally.
What about someone making it big and giving scholarships , aiding the helpless, and other creative ways of being a blessing to society/giving back being depicted in their music videos rather than the clichéd worn out and irritatingly tired portrayals of "mo no owo mo shayo mo gbe baby to fine (I spend money, I drink and carry fine girl theme)
Posing like lizards near cars they can barely afford to own and maintain, that are nearly useless on our nigerian roads with the potholes and gallops with the anointing of traffic Jams. Add scarcity of parts and mechanics for such machines , one realises the cut and paste they do from American videos, show how no originality/creativity has mostly become their logo!
      Scathingly yours,
