There is a press conference going on right now on TV and sadly the co pilot of the Germanwings flight that crashed on Tuesday deliberately crashed the plane killing everyone along. His name has not yet been mentioned perhaps because they might want to shield his family from harm before they do so......
I planned this report from daily news for later but you might as well read it now.
Rip to all the departed. Read the interesting report.
One of the pilots of the ill-fated Germanwings plane was locked out of the cockpit minutes before the aircraft plummeted into a remote region of the Alps, it was sensationally claimed last night.

One of the pilots of the ill-fated Germanwings plane was locked out of the cockpit minutes before the aircraft plummeted into a remote region of the Alps, it was sensationally claimed last night.
Audio files taken from the black box voice recorder that was salvaged from the wreckage of the Airbus A320 reportedly indicate the pilot left the cockpit and could not re-enter.

COCKPIT |
The pilot is heard knocking lightly on the door of the cockpit before trying to 'smash the door down' when his colleague fails to answer, according to the New York Times.
The revelation is the first insight into what took place on the aircraft in the moments before the plane crashed - killing all 150 on board, including three Britons - on Tuesday.
An unnamed military investigator told the newspaper: ‘The guy outside is knocking lightly on the door and there is no answer.
‘And then he hits the door stronger and no answer. There is never an answer. You can hear he is trying to smash the door down.’
The claim will inevitably lead to speculation that the crash was deliberate – either caused by a suicidal pilot or as a result of terrorist activity.
However, the lack of a response by the crew member at the controls might also indicate he had passed out or had become incapacitated in some way.
The recording so far provides no indication of the condition or activity of the pilot who remained in the cockpit.
RECOVERED BLACK BOX: THE MANGLED KEY TO THE TRAGEDY
The mangled black box from Airbus A320 is the key that will unlock the mystery of the doomed flight.
Yesterday air crash investigators cracked open the jet’s cockpit flight recorder after recovering it from the slopes of the French Alps.
It will explain why the Germanwings aircraft lost radio contact with air traffic controllers during a routine flight from Barcelona to Duesseldorf.
Aircraft black boxes – in fact usually painted bright orange to help investigators find them – are often recovered intact, even from the most serious crashes. But pictures of the black box cockpit voice recorder recovered from the Airbus A320 – designed to store two hours of conversation and withstand impacts of as much as 3,400 times the force of gravity – show it had been dented, twisted and scarred by the impact of the collision.
Intriguingly, neither pilot on board the Airbus A320 flight has been named, nor any details of their age or nationality released by Germanwings.
The airline’s chief executive, Thomas Winkelmann, has said one of the pilots had more than ten years’ experience, including more than 6,000 hours on A320s.
The evidence is understood to come from a cockpit voice recorder that is currently being analysed by accident investigators in Le Bourget, near Paris.
A spokesman for the BEA, France's accident investigation office, would not comment on the revelations last night.
Earlier in the day, BEA spokesman Remi Jouty confirmed voices could be heard on the damaged voice recorder, which covered the flight 'from departure to crash'.
But they warned that it could take 'days, weeks and even months' before analysts were able to determine exactly what is being said or what the noises are.The cockpit voice recorder is designed to store two hours of conversation and withstand impacts of as much as 3,400 times the force of gravity.
It was hoped the device would yield clues about whether the crew became incapacitated or were battling a technical malfunction.
CONTROLLERS' ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT PILOTS AFTER RADIO SILENCE
Air traffic controllers made several failed attempts to contact the pilots of the doomed Germanwings plane in the minutes after losing radio communication with the cockpit, an air crash report revealed.
Germany's BILD newspaper published on its website details of the first report about the crash which it claims was submitted by the French to the German government after the disaster.
It states: 'Normal operating conditions for the French air traffic control. All technical systems were in normal operation.'
It corroborates earlier reports that contact with the pilots was lost at 10.31am, adding: 'Germanwings 4U9525 leaves its cruising altitude without informing French air traffic control and starts a descent at an average rate of decline observed by radar... of 3,500 feet per minute'.
Air traffic controllers attempted to establish 'wireless connection on the operating frequency which is not answered' by the cockpit, the report says.
Further attempts are made by radio contact on the international emergency frequency, but there was again no response.
At 10.35am, air traffic controllers 'raise the internationally standardized "emergency level" (DETRESFA distress phase) and contacts the national headquarters of the French search and rescue service.'
One final and attempt is made to contact the pilots on the international emergency frequency a minute later, but that also fails.
The Germanwings flight disappeared from radar at 10.40am at an altitude of around 6,200ft, the report states.
Two minutes later - at 10.42am - air traffic control informs the national headquarters of the French search and rescue service about the loss of the radar target.
Two military helicopters are sent in the direction of the last known location, but are unable to detect the aircraft's emergency transmitter.
The device should also allow investigators to detect automated aural alerts from the plane that would help in reconstructing the sequence of events that led to the plane's sudden descent.
The covering of the second black box flight recorder, which logs key flight data, was recovered yesterday from the mountainside but not the recorder itself, which is the size of an iPhone.
One flight safety expert said that the second recorder would need to be found in order for investigators to fully understand the circumstances leading up to the crash.
16 TEENAGERS, TWO BABIES AND A FATHER: VICTIMS OF THE FLIGHT
Germanwings chief executive Thomas Winkelmann said those who died came from at least 13 different countries - with 72 German nationals and 49 people from Spain confirmed to have been on passenger lists for the plane.
There has been some confusion over numbers of passengers and countries they are from, because of dual nationalities.
UK
Martyn Matthews, a father-of-two with another child on the way. Mr Matthews, of Wolverhampton, was on business in Barcelona.
Marina Bandrés López-Belio, from Huesca, was travelling with her seven-month-old baby Julian from her uncle's funeral in Zaragoza.
They had been living in Manchester. Ms Lopez-Belio had not been able to fly home direct to Manchester, so had opted for a flight to Dusseldorf.
Paul Andrew Bramley, 28, originally from Hull, was also a passenger on the flight, the Foreign Office confirmed.
US
U.S. government contractor Yvonne Selke, 57, and her graduate daughter Emily, of Nokesville, Virginia, were both passengers on the doomed flight.
Yvonne was a long-serving and highly regarded employee of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., while Emily graduated from Drexel University, Philadelphia, in 2013.
Raymond Selke confirmed on Wednesday that his wife and daughter were among the 150 people who died on a Germanwings flight from Spain to Germany the day before.
In a statement, he said: 'Our entire family is deeply saddened by the losses of Yvonne and Emily Selke. Two wonderful, caring, amazing people who meant so much to so many. At this difficult time we respectfully ask for privacy and your prayers.’
A third U.S. citizen was also on the crashed plane, but the State Department has yet to release the name of the victim.

'WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME HOME': STUDENTS' TRAGIC FINAL MESSAGES
German schoolchildren on board the ill-fated Germanwings flight had texted friends to say they ‘couldn’t wait to come home’ just moments before the aircraft crashed in the French Alps.
Many of the 16 exchange students had messaged friends after boarding the Airbus A320 to say they missed their families and were bringing friends souvenirs from Spain.
The heartbreaking details of their final texts emerged hours after a picture that showed some of the group with Spanish children who had come to Germany on the first leg of the exchange trip.
Among the class from the small town of Haltern am See was 16-year-old Elena Bless, who friends described as a ‘happy girl’ who dreamed of going to university and travelling the world.
‘She had been sending me messages on WhatsApp and Snap Chat and had been very happy about the trip. She had had a good time.’ Elena’s best friend and classmate Philippa said.
‘She sent me pictures of the group together and the different sights they saw. They looked like they had had fun.’
The group of year 10 students from the Josef Konig Gymnasium School were returning from a seven day exchange trip with host families in the village of Llinars del Valles, near Barcelona.
Philippa, who was in the same class as Elena but had opted out of the fateful trip, said: ‘Elena enjoyed studying Spanish. She was very happy all the time and had a positive character.
'She wanted to travel the world and go to university. We were excited about them all coming back as they said they had lots of pictures to show us and lots to tell us.’
But just half an hour after taking off from Barcelona, Germanwings Flight FU 9525 crashed in a remote region of the French Alps, killing all 150 people on board.
‘Elena and our other friends on the trip had planned things to do on their return. I just can’t believe they won’t be coming back.’
Elena’s mother, Annette Bless, confirmed tonight that her daughter had been one of the children on the plane and added: ‘I’m too upset to say anything else.’
Passengers at Dusseldorf Airport reported hearing harrowing screams after parents who had been waiting to pick up their children were ushered into a private room and told of the crash.
Philippa said: ‘I did think that it would have been fun to go there but now this has happened I’m relieved I didn’t.’
Describing the moment the news broke at school, she added: ‘There was an announcement that the school was closing because of a serious incident.
‘We didn’t know what it was. When I went outside I saw people were crying and saying there had been a crash but I didn’t believe it. I thought it was a nightmare.'
Another student Malin, 17, said traumatic scenes unfolded as news began to spread yesterday.
She said: ‘A friend sent me an SMS message saying something terrible had happened to the flight. When I got to the school the students were running about of the school in tears, shouting "Oh my God". It was terrible. Everyone was in shock.’
The school, which was the focal point for the small town’s grief yesterday, was visited by hundreds of students and residents who lit candles and laid flowers.
Ulrich Wessel, principal of the grammar school, was unable to sleep yesterday morning and arrived at the school at 3am to prepare for the students.
He said: ‘I couldn't sleep at all. All I could think of doing was coming here to write my assembly for the pupils, to try and find the words to explain what happened to their friends.’
Mayor of the town Bodo Klimpel said: ‘You see me stunned and a little without words.
'On Tuesday, a week ago, we sent 16 cheerful young people with two young female colleagues on a trip and what was intended to be a joyous trip, ended in tragedy.
He added: ‘At the school is at this moment the husband of one of the two teachers, newly married for less than six months.
'It is a tragedy, it leaves us speechless and we have to learn how to deal with.'
In the special assembly at the school, which received a call of support from the German leader Angela Merkel yesterday, the names of the 18 were read out and a candle was lit for each one.
Outside the school a heartbreakingly poignant sign was placed in front of a growing shine, it read: ‘Yesterday we were many. Today we are alone.’

DeleteSo tragic, sheer negligence

DeleteNegligence?? Can you COMPREHEND at all??
Or you just read the first syllable and decided to type what ever fell out of your brain?
Nonsense.
@ E-Rella Are you for real? Negligence by who? Is it with your diarrhea mouth? How date you said such a statement where 150 people lost their lives? My mother said if you have nothing good to say, keep your mouth shut. Stella is right time you start paying attention to some comment before you post them. This E- Rella comment is totally rude, inhuman and satanic. According to your post and the story in the news, the Pilot went to the rest room which is a norm, It has happened many times on my flight and I wondered why that is a negligent? The Evil here is the sadist co-pilot that refused to opened the door for the pilot to enter. E-Rella think before you act write

DeleteAnon calm down abeg. She obviously didn't read the story but e no reach "rude, satanic and inhuman". Wetin self? Even your English is satanic and inhuman.
DeleteWell Anon, it could very easily be negligence. First someone didn't follow operational standards, some countries do require that when the pilot takes a restroom break, they should have a flight attendant present in the cockpit, it's never a good idea to have one pilot at the helms of affairs, anything could happen. So the pilot probably didn't do this. Secondly, does the aircraft have security access code required to enter, typically you will see this adjacent cockpit entry security doors. This requirement became a regulation after the 9/11 occurrence, a little research on features of the aircraft will determine that, if it did, why didn't the pilot use that to gain entry into the cockpit? If the aircraft doesn't have this, why did the pilot leave the co pilot alone in the cockpit?
DeleteIn any case, the rate of descent of the flight is indicative that someone intended on crashing the aircraft by not communicating with the ATC about ways to recover altitude even if s/he had lost flight controls of his aircraft. So negligence is not an entirely wrong statement; though everything seems to point to a deliberate act. The CVR and FDR will definitely uncover what happened in that cockpit.
OMG! I can't deal.
ReplyDeleteSo heart-breaking. I feel so pained for the victims, especially those students.
DeleteSpeechless!
ReplyDeleteOh the bible is so true when it states that the heart of man is deliberately wicked !!! This is chilling.... Ahhh just like that . Unbelievable!! May the souls of the departed rest in peace !! As for the co- pilot who crashed the plane ... Your judgement is with the maker of the 149 souls you perished without a second thought ! Not even thinking about your colleagues??

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are maybe the co-pilot had an heart attack or he might have inhaled some sort of chemical that made Him pass out.
ReplyDelete@Ehi, I doubt that...his act was deliberate. He deliberately killed himself n everyone on board.
DeleteAnd Anon, you know this because you were on the aircraft, right?
DeletePossessed pple every where why would a 28yrs old pilot want to end his life after all hes achieved? Lord have mercy on your pple. Rip to the dead.
DeleteChai!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad and tragic, may they all rest in peace. The pilot could have suffered an heart attack,i pray the parents and loved ones of the deceased find succor.
ReplyDeleteCrazy!!! The part that amazes me is he was heard breathing, NORMALLY! He didn't say a word or anything. No fear, very deliberate act. Wicked soul. If he wanted to die did he need to take hundreds of people along with him? Sigh!!!

Lord have Mercy.
Heartbreaking. I pray God give their families the strength to deal with this tragic-loss.
ReplyDeleteAs for the pilot, I just hope it's not deliberate but an accident, because it will be much more painful to know he deliberately crashed the plane for whatever reason(s).
RIP to the departed.
What a waste! Rip!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the very first thought that came to my mind when I heard the news was suicide. It may or may not be, my the souls of the department rest.
ReplyDeleteIN tears.... May they rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteIt's really heart breaking. The departed souls rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteTragedy
ReplyDeleteSo so sad, may their souls continue to rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteSad event,Co-pilot was on suicide mission he should have died alone not kill innocent people. German men are very fragile, pressure and stress get into them easily. But the strong once are those that married foreigners because they are used to their cultures. If they investigate well it must be stress/depression related from co-pilot as their men can't bear stress. A German man will murder his wife and family just for cheating and kill himself afterwards is just common with them. But they are the best country in Europe in many ways.
ReplyDeleteWas he asleep or what? So sad.
ReplyDeleteWhy would he do such a terrible thing? What could have warranted him to do such an evil thing? Many questions, fewer answers
ReplyDeleteIt's just so sad. That co-pilot was apparently suffering from depression, or was on a suicide mission. I'm watching it on cnn now, and it's heartbreaking. God have mercy. RIP to d dead.
ReplyDeleteS I G H! May the soul of the departed find peace and their families be consoled and comforted by our creator. Amen.
ReplyDeleteNitty.
It beats my imagination how an individual will decide to commit sucide and then look for partners, why not die alone? RIP to the fallen.
ReplyDeleteWhen did you ever fly
ReplyDeleteJay - em
DeleteThis is so saddening!
ReplyDeleteMay their souls rest in peace...:(
Its a pity. May the Almighty console the family
ReplyDeletehmmm dis is so sad, May their souls rest in peace
ReplyDeletePossessed people everywhere, They'll talk perfectly well usually very intelligent but they're agents of darkness, on d other hand, I hope they investigate properly before given dis dead man a bad name for the next thousand years to come..
ReplyDeleteIf the co pilot really did this deliberately, then indeed the heart of man is wicked.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous looks like you also need to shut up and calm down....he refused to open the door could have been anything...all people are saying now is mere speculation.....hopefully investigations should not take long since the black box has been found....
ReplyDeleteLord I thank you for journey mercies you have been granting to me and my family over the years, we do not take it for granted lord.....any touchdown is a testimony and I always say a word of prayer for that previlage...
This is truly sad....Only God knows how it truly happened. Those kids awwww. What a terrible way to die!
ReplyDeleteMay their souls rest in peace
