EMMA UGOLEE INITIATES CELEBRITY CHARITY WALK AGAINST KIDNEY DISEASE

The Nigerian entertainment Industry is about to show a united front for a rare course.....

Emma Ugolee and friends...

The biggest players in the movie, music and comedy industries are converging together at the COOL FM’s Lagos office in Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday March 21st to have a charity walk against kidney disease.

The convener is ex broadcaster, Emmanuel Ugolee who has been under treatment for this disease for the last 3years. Emmanuel is propelled by the lessons of his encounter with kidney failure to increase the level of awareness in Nigeria on the true nature of Kidney disease.

His plan?

To get his celebrity friends to march round the streets of Victoria island and attract public and media attention to a disease that has had its fair share of dimming the lights of some of her industries brightest stars such as Steeve Kadiri  and Muna Obiekwe and is currently plaguing the likes of OJB Jezereel, Ngozi  Nwosu and Ifeanyi Dike as well as millions of Nigerians who live with it today.

All medical and security agencies needed for such an exercise are on hand and 2face Idibia, Uti Nwachukwu, Olamide, Peter Okoye, Timaya, Omotola, Ebuka, Monalisa, Jimmy Jatt, Sound Sultan, Ramsey Noah, Julius Agwu, Basketmouth, AY, Bovi,  Praiz, Desmond, Waje and many more will be part of this walk....

Emmanuel Ugolee was quite emphatic about saying that this was not about soliciting of funds for himself or anybody else. Neither was it about aggrandizing the famous participants. “I just want people to be talking about this thing that has brought all these big names together. The consciousness is a gateway to our solving any problem”- He said.

On the support he is getting from the industry, Emmanuel says he is overwhelmed by the love and support of the entertainment industry at various capacities.

Details on the outcome of the walk when it takes place. ...Please join in if you can.
