Alibaba rarely gets upsets and he is all about making people laugh but reading this rant from showed he was and still is probably upset about what transpired between him and some clueless females at the last AMVCA......Read his rant and add your piece of mind!
Alibaba you looked great, dont mind them abeg #DELTANSTOCKS!
Can't read that it's too blurry...
ReplyDeleteI thought he also makes jokes with people's outfits and lifestyle so he should beat his own and take it like a man
DeleteAbsolutely nothing wrong with the outfit!
DeleteI dont know where this craze for western cloths come from ooo evev my church workers cant tie wrapper or traditional skirt n blouse only suit n hat. This is not fail i have decided to wear only my trado skirts n blouses shebi dem say skirt n blouse? Make una fear God ooo this is africa fa.
Deletehe actually wore a wonderful attire in a wrong event.. I wonder why they all thought the award was a place to display experimental madness with clothes.
ReplyDeleteThat event was not a traditional meeting or something Mbok!
The award show was organized for Africans by Africans. What is wrong about it? Dont wear trad to Church again or work or class, only English wear.
DeleteIt's AFRICA Magic viewers choice awards. A night where awards are given to AFRICAN artistes in various ramifications, based on the ratings by viewers who also happen to be AFRICAN.
DeleteWhat better way to showcase the AFRICAN culture than the flamboyant African style of dressing?
We've copied the Americans so much that we are now more American than they are. SMH
What's wrong there when he is showcasing his African attire!
DeleteAnd it's so so glamorous!
DeleteIt's an AFRICAN event. Organised by Africans. For Africans.
When Chinese, Indians, people who still have a sense of culture organise events, is it YOUR ethnic attire they'll wear?
I loved Ali Baba's attire, more so for what it represents.
HALEEMAH
Na wa. Ali baba are u sure that you aren't making this an issue just to draw our attention to your attire for the night, and perhaps, u wish to be commended for it since no one took special notice of u among the bunch? Eh, just saying.
DeleteEnough of all this AMVC, to be candid, most of their dresses were off point. They should try harder next time
ReplyDeleteSo he can make jokes abt people for a living but can't take a joke? Alibaba, take several seats abeg
DeleteGood ans for dem,"i too know pple" hissss
ReplyDeletenothing wrong with the outfit something dey worry dem for head
ReplyDelete#GODWIN
To be sincere....the stylish shirt on wrapper is FAR more glamorous than agbada any day anytime...with coral beads to go...we know the deltas have paved the way for traditional attired since way ,back, even check out the wAy Yorubas sew the iro blouses these days and the way most traditional blouses are even sewn with corset is something delta women have been doing for ages...mehn and to think it was an event that has to do with African heritage and those clueless Yoruba cheap girls that only know how to bleach with hypo were saying rubbish...I truly wish he had let out thier names...choi make e come be someone wey I no like before.....alibabaa u look really good and I'm proud of ur roots association....keep it glam!!! ......Stella u must enjoy me
ReplyDeleteYou had to use the opportunity to bring your tribalistic fangs out. Please simmer down
DeleteLol @ tribalistic fangs.
DeleteBut she does have a point...
Lots of Yoruba people are myopic in that regard, they believe Nigeria consists of only Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo people.
If you're not Hausa or Yoruba then to them, you're Igbo.
But where did he write that the ladies weds yorubas?
DeleteWhen are we ever going to get out of this our Tribalistic ish in this country?
I never knew how much Igbo people hate Yorubas until I started reading blogs.
Now I suspect all my igbo friends.
Y him de vex na? It's part of d show.
ReplyDeleteAwww I feel his pain... Don't mind those girls all they understand is wearing fish net with their fish brains
ReplyDeleteEyaa. Ndo
ReplyDeletePamscrib.blogspot.com
I think you look good too sir.
ReplyDeleteI didn't read, pointless.
ReplyDeleteDon't mind them, that is why they have been deceiving Geniveive that her dress is fantabulous while the dress I actual fact brought out her down bellow hips. We have finally become Oyinbo unfortunately, our body structure does bot support their kind of cloths, especially for us the women.
ReplyDeleteAnd he taught them a lesson.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked what Alibaba and Kunle wore to the AMVCA, i tot it was like a unique way to dress to an African award ceremony.
ReplyDeleteBut seriously we Africans are gradually losing our cultural values.
Anyways to each his own.
Sipping moet

Good point Alibaba. Why should foreign attire even be worn to a glamorous African event? what better way to showcase our beautiful culture and attire to the world? all we do is copy copy and forget where we come from.
ReplyDeleteI always say that one can never go wrong to an event in our traditional outfit.
Oya bros no vex again.

ReplyDeleteHe looks very very nice abeg !!!!!! Urhobo wadoooooo!
ReplyDeleteRespect Mr. Alibaba. Nigeria has a very big demon, tribalism.
ReplyDeleteThis was not about tribalism, it was just stupidity. Nigerians went to AMCVA and only a few rocked trad inspired dresses. When you check aseobi bella, you will see styles galore but to an event showcasing us...we cant showcase our heritage
DeleteI'm sure most of us can't read this.
ReplyDeleteAll these dramas associated with AMVCA don do abeg.
ReplyDeleteThose wey don don win, event don finish.

ReplyDeleteThat's the level an average Nigerian has sunk to..... we don't appreciate our own thing that's why we will continue to be an importing-country....
ReplyDeleteEnough of AMVCA gist. It have do oooooooo.

Ali Baba you are so right. Thank you for educating them. I have tried spreading this same message to people I know. We are Africans and should be proud of our culture. We tend to hang on to Western culture and shred ours to bits, but the opposite should be the case. Even the westerners we copy, are more interested in seeing the 'African you'. Adammadu
ReplyDeleteSo he can joke abt people for a living but can't take one?
ReplyDeleteHe should not worry, people mocked the other guys for wearing agbada but the joke is on them not the guys. Nigerians went to the extent of copying Hollywood style dresses e.g. Ini and Mercy looking silly. When we have so many awesome fabrics amd styles. Not that you cant wear English but ours should have been on display more.
ReplyDeleteNice outfit
ReplyDeletetest i.d
ReplyDelete**
ReplyDeleteyou look good sir
ReplyDeleteNothing do you Alibaba
ReplyDeleteWeldone for showcasing that lovely Urhobo attire !
This just made me feel a whole lot better
ReplyDeleteHe can dish out jokes and not collect any? Mbanu! Maybe he should use this expensive joke on him and know how others feel when he makes mega money at their expenses. The thing pain am no be small.
ReplyDeleteAli Baba was right most Africans have forgotten their roots. AM....Award not Oyibo Award. Presenters shld always do research. I like that writer wetin be hin name sef etc
ReplyDeleteAli baba is like they beat you to your game; comedy
ReplyDeleteNice urhobo outfit
