Ghanaian star actor, Majid Michel and his wife, Virna, have won an all expense paid wedding renewal prize which will enable them renew their wedding vows cost free.
This free prize was presented by Stacy Amoateng during a Ghanaian TV show, Restoration.
The couple who have been married for more than a decade with two daughters, Zara and Kiera Michel, were pleasantly surprised when the TV host Amoateng announced that an all-expense paid celebrity wedding package was waiting for their approval.
During the show last Saturday, Amoateng told the actor: "This is what we're going to do, you've done so well, you've been with your wife for so long, you guys have been there for each other so we are giving you a treat. And with this treat, all you need to do is to provide us a date… And you and Virna can say I do again."
The wedding vow renewal will take place at the LaPalm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana.
It promises to play host to Ghollywood and Nollywood celebrities, as well as family and friends of the couple.
Speaking to the audience, Amoateng said she was inspired to make this happen because the love and support the couple show each other is exemplary despite the rate at which celebrity marriages crash so fast.
"We need to encourage each other because for most people celebrities don't have a lasting marriages, it crashes along the line," she said.
"These two are always at weddings so now we would be coming to your wedding. So we are going to have a celebrity wedding."
Amoateng also revealed that the bride's gown has already been chosen.
"It's a very beautiful gown," she said coyly. "But that's all I'm going to say. We will also be deciding on the menu soon. Music and all those other things that make a great wedding are being carefully selected."
She added that they would be working with a very tight guest list for the event.
"They have a lot of friends and fans but we want to keep this as intimate as possible, so the guest list will cover about 250 people," she said.
She further said the date will be agreed upon with the couple after the show and would be announced later.

This is really encouraging, great move by the organisers. I could see love and respect in Majid's eyes which makes me conclude no matter what a married man tells you or do to you,his heart,bbody and soul and even spirit are true to his wife.This kind of glow I see in Majid haven't seen it on any screen in any film he has acted in.
