And really gullible too! Mortgaging their future and that of their progeny for a tuber of yam and small bag of expired rice. Tueh! I spit on the faces of evil perpetrators.

Thieves! Selling their votes for a quarter bag of rice and a yam tuber. Vote change. All these will come easy and you would not have to dream of having half bag of rice and 2 tubers of yam.
Sorry to burst your bubble love, we aren't voting for buhari. The ancestor has nothing to offer Nigeria. Goodluck till 2019 then after him comes david mark. Thanks for understanding.
Anon 13.46, u do realise it is PDP that has reduced our people to this level of physical and mental poverty? And u want them to continue? R u being paid or just plain wicked?
As sad as this picture is,it's not as sad as blog visitors' comments. The fact that some of us would rather laugh at this shows how bastardized the psyche of the average Nigerian is.This picture should make us reflect...and very deeply too.
shame on these politicians ! They put these people in poverty and feed them with crumbs frm their dog's table. So much hunger in the land, one cant blame them. Except God intercede there cant be any change
this is just embarassing, i mean it's just not fair, these crazy people are buying votes with food. when they're the ones that made this country a poverty striken country in the first place...why won't nigerians open their eyes and see what's going on?
Anon 10:20, you spoke my mind. Naija don reach time wey we go collect chop clean mouth and still vote the right person. Ha ha ha! Keep sharing the rice and yam. Una eyes go clear come March 28.

It's funny how these things work. I'm sure 80% of the receivers will vote their givers. I remember one night while driving to Ikoyi from Lekki around that Bourdillon road, there was a trailer entering that house where Tinubu's policemen stays (the house beside Tinubu's). I was like woah! Even Tinubu and co? Really? Night crawlers. I had to wait for about 5 minutes (as the trailer dey reverse and reverse and road don block) before the trailer got into the compound. The next day the crowd I saw there...the rest is history.
Rankadede things! What do you expect? I so hate this "rankadede" things the so called Rich do. Empower people, teach them how to fish and not give them fish. Our culture isn't helping matters too.
Abeg go n sit down jare! Is it only PDP that are sharing stuffs? Was it not APC that was throwing sweets n chewing gum into the gutters n little kids were jumping into d dirty n contaminated gutters to pick d sweets??? U all biased peeps should take several seats n shut da fuck up abeg.
What's he big deal? We have seen this distribution of staple food to the voters from BOTH PDP and APC. It's like when you get party favors. Or do you expect them to share biro/pens which would not be really useful to the people? They are sharing products that make sense that people need. APC is only making all these noise because maybe PDP has more purchasing power and is sharing more than them and reaching more people. This is a game for BOTH parties. It is a way to reach some of the grassroot votes per adventure some of those will eventually translate to votes for them. Don't you see as these women were given posters too. Some might chuck these posters along the way, and as you say, some will take their rice and yam, clean mouth and either not vote or still vote for the opposition. But, a certain number to will go ahead and vote for whatever party gave them the package. The poster on the bags of rise and additional posters also serve as expanded advertisement points for the party to disseminate deeper. Per adventure there will be those that walk into these peoples' homes and, you never know, are persuaded to vote for them too.
You all see stomach infrastructure, I see more, I see grassroot outreach, mock it all you can, but the party that can do more of it, just might benefit a little. Now, this is different from say like Obama's grassroot outreach. The Nigerian environment is different. You have to give the people what they need and "communicate" appropriately to achieve your goal. So I say, they should keep sharing more rice Jare, at least, some families will have relieve during this period abi?

And for those condemning this, sebi Fashola and co were also throwing / distributing recharge cards and money to the masses eh? APC also distributed rice too. I think the staple foods makes more sense than the recharge cards as will meet the needs of more people viz-a-viz feed families. Let he who can reach the most triumph, it's not about crying foul each time your opponent seems to be beating you at the games you both are playing using the same tricks. Chikena!
