History has been made in Nigeria with the establishment of the Nigerian Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation.
The Federation was made official by the Ministry of Sports and National Sports commission chaired by the Hon.Minister of Sports and Chairman National Sports Commission Dr Tamuno W. Danagogo.
He was full of praise for this great revolutionary initiative. Mr Uwe Goldstein who put in a lot to make this happen promised to make it possible for Nigeria to be represented at Championships soonest. The Founder/President thanked everyone for the support, welcomed the new officials who are very spirited and determined & willing to work together as a team to develop the Sports. She believes that with more positive activities/sports/entertainment engaging Nigerians, the more negative vices like violence will be curbed.
This sport which was 'alien' to Nigeria was introduced by Uwe Goldstein (Chairman Development Commitee IWWF). He won the interest of Amb. Rachel Bakam ;Television Producer/Presenter of Trends and Rachel, Yanayin Zamani da Rachel and Rachel the PIPER who travels around the world selling the Nigerian brand and calling on investors. The Ambassador of peace, tourism, goodwill and positive development, is now officially the Founder and President.
After representing the NWWF at the European and African Congress 2015 in Toulouse France, She expressed enthusiastically; "The IWWF is a wonderful family. We are now full members of the IWWF. Long live NWWF!!! A pride of Nigeria, A pride of the IWWF, A pride of Sports and Tourism".
Rachel sold the FASCINATING NIGERIA brand to all present by showing a video depicting the best highlights of our Country and highlighting the aims, objectives and plans for the NWWF. She gave out Nigerian flags which were placed on all tables and presented on behalf of the NWWF, an award to Patron Mr Uwe Goldstein (Chairman Development Commitee IWWF) for the efforts he put into establishing the federation in Nigeria. Long live FASCINATING NIGERIA!!! Long live the IWWF!!! Long live the NWWF. It is time to 'Discover ourselves and shine bright on the water'.

Perception allows reception. If your mind can grasp it, your life can experience it. The issue isn't wat you fear, but your perception of it.

ReplyDeleteToo long a story, badly written and blurry pictures. Water Ski my foot. This is another white men club coming our waters and island in d name of ski sport. An ordinary Nigeria would pay through his ass to bcome a member. So what are we celebrating??? Thanks to the girl fronting for them, another 419, it all about their money SMH. Our sport government should rather improve swimming, attention should be diverted there, it a more realistic sport in this part of the world.
