I always tell people:NEVER EVER SWIM IN A RIVER THAT IS NOT IN YOUR HOMETOWN.

I married someone who's from another state and in all my years of marriage,i have never set foot in their many rivers.
I am terribly hydrophobic cos Orimmili/Nkisi nearly took my 8yr old life.

      Tell your kids.
Do not swim in strange bodies of waters.
      RIP DANIEL.
MAY YOU REST IN PERFECT PEACE.

  4. Stella i think it might be a bit insensitive to have his lifeless body on display for the whole world to see. Please respect his family's privacy as you would like yours to be respected and take down the picture. Thank you in advance.

This just reminds me about a corps member we lost in Ikom River during my service year. Her own was even more traumatic cause there were talks about her drowning being diabolic and stuff. Her corpse had injuries like she was involved in a fire accident. How that happened under water, we couldn't tell.

  47. Swimming gone wrong. May he rest in peace.Very sad. Water areas are a no-no for me, even before I somersaulted inside the water in a water park and injured myself. By then I felt sure I had swallowed up to10 gallons of water before I was pulled up.
