President Jonathan Media Chat Quotes From Yesterday.

1. I eat Chicken not Turkey

2. I didn’t say stealing is good, I only said stealing isn’t corruption.

3. Those quoting me as saying that ‘stealing is not corruption’ have not said that the President said stealing is good. Thieves should be treated as thieves. Do not use the word ‘corruption’ to cover so many things.

4. Now that we are working with Chad, I believe that in the next few weeks the story of the Chibok girls will get better.

5. I am not God, but I am more hopeful now than before in terms of combing the whole areas.

6. We are working with our neighbours and we will comb the whole of that area. Just give us some time.

7. I did not go dancing after kidnap of Chibok Girls.

8. Most presidents will tell you that it is more difficult for the 2nd election (re-election).

9. If INEC conducts this election poorly, it is on my head.

10. I have not told anybody that I want to remove Jega. I have never said so.

11. A number of people tell me the messages from my team are confusing.

12. One thing about politics, leadership generally, you have a nos of people who support you but you don’t know what they say.

13. There is no hiding place for the Boko Haram again, As we are talking, only Madagali is remaining (under Boko Haram).

14. In Yobe, two local governments are affected and in the next couple of weeks we will take them over.

15. In Borno State, we have 10 to 12 LGs under Boko Haram. The issue of security is beyond Boko Haram.

16. Politicians are instigating some young people to act in ways not expected.

17. Several countries of the world have one problem or the other.

18. The issue of PVC interests me most. Before 2011 Nigerians were not talking about Voter’s Card.

19. I was already in my village when INEC announced the postponement. I don’t decide date for election, INEC must work with security agencies.

20. Election is like any tournament, FIFA says March, later say April or May. The winning team will still win. No big deal.

21. I was not consulted about the postponement and I don’t want to be consulted.

22. It is quite unfortunate that there is a lot of wrong information in the system, especially in the social media & normal media.

23. People say I mean well for this country, its true because people close to me know I have passion for Nigeria.

24 .Anybody who wants to hold the office of the president and thinks he’s more important than the nations, it’s not right.

25. We must not put money where people can take it, like we did with in agriculture with fertilizer.

26. Boko Haram is faceless. When the Niger Delta militants were pressing their needs they met with the president.

27. APC started their campaign before me. They visited like 4 states before PDP started.

28. I don’t have the time for social media.

29. I appointed INEC chairman and the RECs and I know that they will do the job.

30. I want a situation where every Nigerian must vote....

    2. I really dont understand why this politicians keep repeating same thing every election year. I will do this i will do that and we the mass are not asking them how they intend to do it.
Rubbish. Buhari is no better than Jonathan, they're same of the same.

Your comment will be visible after approval

    3. But sir, stealing lays the precedent for corruption...doesn't it? so let's discontinue this futile effort of isolating one from the other, because they achieve the same purpose. Which is taking what does not belong to you. That's all.

The issue of BH. I saw a clip where you said that "I'm not saying we will remove BH completely, I didnt promise that. But we will contain them before the election".

Oga sir, this is discouraging. You have implied that you cannot fully eradicate the insurgency, fair enough for being truthful ... but you have however, just given your opponents the licence to prevail over you in the election. As they on the other hand have promised to get to the root of BH, and wipe them out...unlike yourself sir

Whether they are lying or not, we cannot say, not until they assume power. But we can convincingly judge your capacity to tackle the menace because you are on the "throne" now.

Mr President, you are at a disadvantage and I'll tell you why. You are the incumbent, the seating president. Therefore you are limited in your campaign strategy, you cannot promise what u cannot do, because people will ask why you haven't done what you promise. While the opposition can declare that they can fish out BH in 2 days if they like. We cannot say for NOW that they are lying or will not make true their promise. Why? Because they are not on your hot seat yet.

Therefore we can only call every other aspirant liars, (irrespective of their political platform), should they be given the chance but fail to deliver.

Quite honestly Mr President, we have the inalienable right to judge you because you had good 6 years....and we remember clearly what you promised when u were voted in by all. If by now Nigerians are aggrieved, it is because you promised and failed them sir.

Saying that anyone who speaks against your administration is an 'enemy', is a politically incorrect statement... because what you promised us years ago are yet to come to fruition. Rant over
      Just opinionated

  16. There are some
people who cannot but fiddle with whatever you put in their care. Keep your pot
of soup with them, and they first begin to sniff it, and later dive into the
pot. Give them your money to keep, they begin to eye it lustfully, and
eventually pinch from it. Give them boiled egg to keep, and because they can’t
take a bite as what they did would be evident, they then lick the egg. How can
the egg go free? But if a man has been governor, Petroleum Minister, head of
state, PTF chairman, and he remains almost poor in a country like Nigeria, then
I’ll trust that man all the way. If he didn’t bite our boiled egg at 42, will
he now lick it at 72? Even if he is 120 years old, bent double over his walking
stick, blind in one eye, and with just two teeth left in his mouth, I’ll
continue to trust that man” – Femi Adesina. Vote wisely. Sai Buhari

Ds dude must think we are all retarded...imagine d silly response,#i am more hopeful now bla bla bla we are combing d areas...Lol ds man sef,why did it take them ds damn phucking long to work wv Chad abi comb d area,if his daughter were to be amongst d chibok girls, would it have taken him ds long! Hell no;bt now election's around d corner and he suddenly thought bout combing d area all to get pathetic votes

    1. You spoke my mind. When his relative was kidnapped sometime ago, it didnt take so much time before he was released, but in the case of chibok girls, it took GEJ 10days to even believe there was a kidnapp....and after 10months he now remembers to comb some areas. What if his daughter was there will it take him this long to comb?
Nigerians voted you without stress in 2011 (even though i never supported him then too), but there's nothing to show for the mandate you were given.

Talking about re-election being more difficult, that's a blatant lie. Ask Fashola when he was campaigning for his second term. He didnt talk too much, his works did the talking.

  29. Report question: Mr president will chibok girls come back alive?

Jona Answer: We recover chibok girls alive.
Jona question reporter: How can you ask such question ? ( furious President's look. lol)

Jona quote "We have prosecuted more people than any administration"
(Adesuwa surprised expression inside her Hmmmm)

Lies Mr president you have prosecuted only petty yahoo boys/youths who hustle due to lack of job than real political thieves who impoverished our citizens.

I felt for the man last night but feeling pity can't bring an end to sufferings faced by Nigerians daily. Mr president ,you might be a good man who loved Nigeria but you surrounded yourself with non performing staffs. As you know when the eyes are crying so is the nose. When the head of a fish is rotten the other parts will be.
I wish you created jobs for youths, curb thieves around you at least people like us will wholeheartedly support you but that's not the case the past years.

What about Pensioners who have not collected both FG gratuity and pension since 2007....we know the money was stolen but what did GEJ do to the person who stole the money? The person is still walking freely yet retirees did not get what is due unto them after working for so many years in the civil service......who do u compare him with on this? Be realistic, babes.

    4. That Buhari didn't create jobs as a military head of state doesn't mean that he will not do so as a Democrat. He was president for a very short while 30 years ago....you would agree that quite a lot has changed since then. Moreso now that we are no longer under the military regime.

Until Buhari is given a chance now, I don't see the need to draw a correlation between him and Jonathan. If we had to base our assessments of past leaders in office with that of the present, Jonathan will not stay a day longer in Aso rock. Then IBB will instantly become a saint that would be begged back into office. Buhari shouldn't even be compared with OBJ who was a general like him.

Have u ever seen any two leaders operate the same style of governance in any country in the world? It is either you are very good or very bad.

Was Buhari very bad? And is Jonathan very good? Just saying

    1. Enough of the "he means well". How long will it take him to execute the "wellness" he means? A person's action is synonymous to what he thinks or has in mind. Why is his attitude an opposite of the "wellness" he means? He is surrounded by corrupt people, they dine and wine together.....then he is corrupt too. Can two walk together except they be in accord? If you detest something, you dont aid and abet it!

The No 25 answer is what really got to me; "We must not put money where people can take it, like we did with in agriculture with fertilizer." Does he mean that a sector cannot put funds in care of a person(s) and put the necessary disciplinary measures in place in case there is misappopriation of the so-called funds? Ó mà sé óóo!!! The idiotic and myopic ways this govt thinks and acts baffles me.

    2. The problem with Nigerians is that we do not follow suit the rule of law with our governance.

The day Nigerians realise that they can impeach a president who isn't delivering well, if effected, it will mark the beginning of the sanitization within our judiciary.

The power vested in our judicial system has never been used to its full capacity...because they are as corrupt as the power that be.

Whoever said that we have to endure the malpractices of a government official who perhaps was voted in error? We can bloody well kick them out as stipulated in our Constitution after following due process.

But NO... we would rather complain and suffer in silence. They harass us with such impunity and insolence... what are we waiting for? we don suffer o

At least i hv had an opportunity to work with one of these govt. organisations. the truth is that gettn a job with the govt you have to be highly connected nd it became worse in GEJ regime. You want to talk of GEJ?his list alone can contain 100 candidates where just 40 positions are available. So sad that Nigerians are satisfied with the crumbs from the table. When you asked them what his archiements are, they wil tell you agriculture, renovating train system, almagiri schools.lmao How many of you board a train to work or how many ppl have benefited from the developmnt of agriculture evn those degree holders in agriculture, how many of you have gottn admission into almagiri any of the schools , what happen to good road, power supply and security in the country that we affects me and you directly?. open your eyes!!! when someone like Ngozi Okonjo nods in agreement with what ever rubbish GEJ is saying you one Bank cashier will nod hard with her lol or okupe,FFk throws shades on behalf of the president you that don't have a job with no light to charge your touch light fone, or you wey never get admission enter school go carry their matter for head. One thing is clear, the man is a good man but he is like an apprentice who moved to the top of the workshop just cos his boss died. 52. A president that can go ahead with re-election rally when people are been killed and displace everyday by Boko Haram and Fulani Hardman is not fit to be a president. Did he not cry for his sister that died? Did he not feel d bitterness of death? If he does, he should have care for the innocent people he abandon. He is wicked, heartless, clueless, incompetent and cunning. He said this election will be free and fair. Tell me what is free and fair in all that is going on now? Why is he using the military and police to harass his opponent? By placing military men to block his opponent houses? Why has he promote and deploy police to track all his opponent in every state they govern? Why has d police come on air to warn voters to go home after they cast their vote knowing that everyone will like to protect their vote. Jonathan is not fair and he will never be. Nothing good comes out of bethlehem. Look at him very well during speech then u will understand that he is a pretender. How could he lie to nigerians that nigeria economy is high now during is time. How could him go to the extent to publish a fake news paper report that soon nigeria economy will beat UK within so so and so time. This man has finally corrupt CAN and gave them bad names. Soon they will rubbish christianity in nigeria. Just look as the the way CAN president fooled himself and lied about South Africa incident. Jona pls nigeria is not your property. Pack and leave us in peace.
