    2. Judging from the reaction to yesterdays chronicles, its easy to see how pdp and apc can deceive supposed educated individuals. We have definitely lost our ability to discern...most are puppets begging for a master. I mean, how fake was that story. Our children are doomed with the kind of parents we have. Just 10% of you realised it was fake. As for stella, its your blog, so if you choose to turn chronicles into a make believe post then that's your cuppa tea love.

  14. I dnt usually comment Stella but I jst had to now. Ice prince is a popular rapper in Naija but lacks deep rap content. He's not in dat top list. Let's have Vector on dat list nd my gurl Eva Alordiah(she's queen tho). Pls remove ice-prince. But if we cnt have d list changed, I crown Olamide.

And Eva Alordiah has taken d backstage since Cynthia morgan arrived. Put her in a rap battle or on a song with Cynthia Morgan and she's gon murder her!

  16. Olamide undoubtedly.

    His lyrics are tight.
    His delivery is excellent.
    His flow is smooth.
His Technical skills are top notch.
His voice is the real deal and suits his genre.
His knowledge of Yoruba language which he uses to spice up his music, is very deep.
    (RIP Dagrin)
He's also got the necessary swag and street credibility.

Why is MI missing? He was my favourite before I eloped with Olamide.

An olodo cannot be a good rapper.
My best rapper, Eminiem is so good with words he could easily be a professor.

  43. This is a tie btw Phyno & Olamide, but with all due respect, I see them as 'local rappers' cos they don't rap in english; although I think Phyno's rhymes, use of words, lyrics and delivery are better than Olamide's.
If we really need a king of rap, get me MI, mode nine, SDC and I'll compare.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Pipilee where you keep vector? His word play are just dope. Wat of Nigerians best musician J jags? Abeg remove mode nine from this your list jor, his lines are too ancient. #ilovepipilee

      Delete
    2. Nope, it can't be a tie. btwn Phyno and Olamide. Phyno is more hiphop than Olamide. Has more punchlines and everythg whn it comes 2 real hiphop. Tho both of them are jes Nija locals with all due respect like u said.

But Y are u putting MI's name on d list of Nija king of rap? Dt niqqa can't even battle Phenom or Yung 6 let alone Phyno and Olamide.

      Delete
    3. Please sit down. As if your opinion matters.

    4. So because they rap in their language has turned them to local rappers? SMH

Ehennn,Eesah do u know Bosalin? i mean The Rapper.

      Delete
    6. Ilovepipilee yes Vector should also be on d list, jeSse jagz too although he is moving towards d reggae genre. Call Mode9 ancient all you like but he is still a good emcee compared to ice prince.

Eesah, like I said, I prefer phyno to olamide. But youngsix, naaaaahhhh, rap is not about how fast, buh your lyrics, use of words matters, young6 has zero delivery, childish lyrics, IMO.

      Delete
    7. So rapping in their dialect makes them local? SMH. Shows that u r not proud of ur tribe/cultural heritage.

      Delete
    8. @Pipi Lee, Vector can't make it 2 d top ten Nigerian rappers if I were 2 bring up a list.
Jesse Jaggs is good no doubt. And I wasn't talking abt speed whn I reffered 2 young 6. He isn't too good but he'd murder MI any time anyday. Hv u listened 2 d joint "export" by MI ft Young 6 on MI's 2012 MItape? If u havnt, go and hv a listen and see how yung 6 murdered MI.

@TGW, do u mean Bosalin d indigenous igbo rapper?

      Delete
    9. Ah ah Ada Mazi, na you dey fall my hand like this. I'm in love with phyno, buh his lyrics are restricted to those who understand our local dialect same with Olamide. That is what I mean by local rappers. Gawd! English is not mathematics na

      Delete
    10. Yea Eesah him.do u know him?
      Wot do u think?

      Delete
  44. Whn it comes 2 hiphop, Phyno is more hiphop than all of them. He has d looks, swag, branding, and height than all of 'em. He also has more punchlines than all of 'em.
Phyno takes d crown here, followed by Olamide, then
Iceprince who is d last on d list.

But whn it comes 2 versatility, I'd gv it 2 Olamide, then Ice b4 Phyno.
