Nigerian Student Ozeivo Andrew Akerele Declared Missing In The UK

24-year-old Nigerian student studying at Coventry University, Coventry, United Kingdom has been missing since the 31st of January, 2015.





Ozeivo Andrew Akerele, known as Ozi by his friends, disappeared after a night out with friends on Friday evening (January 30).


According to several reports, he was last seen at the Iglu Club in Spon Street at around 3.30am wearing jeans, blue and white converse trainers and a grey/black zip-up jacket.

Police authorities are concerned about his whereabouts, Coventry Telegraph reports.

Supt Chris Edwards, from Coventry Police said Ozi made a call to one of his friends to pick him up on the day he went missing.

“We believe that Ozi made a call asking to be picked up by Coventry University in the early hours of Saturday 31 January. However, when his lift arrived he was not there and has not been seen since," Edwards said.

“His family are extremely concerned as this is very out of character for him.

“He would not know the area particularly well and we are appealing to anyone who has seen Ozi or knows of his whereabouts to call their local police with details.

“We just want to make sure that he is safe and well.”

It was gathered the student has only been in the city for a few weeks before his mysterious disappearance.

      I just don't understand, my dear. They say a visiting native chicken stands with one leg until it gets used to the feeding habit of other chickens. Now my question... this guy just came in a few weeks ago, what took him clubbing??! And alone too!!

      I pray he's found so he will learn his lesson. I feel for the parents.

    Jesus I pray they find him, this is how my friend Patrick was killed in 2012 in Coventry, we were students in oil and gas management. Rest in perfect peace Patrick. I live in Cov and I havnt heard about this guy missing. I really pray they find him
