    1. That's because some women in showbiz prefer to stick with the brand name they acquired before marriage.

      Joke was already a notable actor before she got married.

      It's a matter of choice though.

      That decision probably brought less documentation wahala for people like Ini Edo, Funke Akindele, Oge Okoye when their marriages ended.

    4. An addendum. Classic example is Saheed and Fathia Balogun. She's had to switch to Williams, her maiden name, after divorcing Saheed. Was quite clumsy because Balogun had become synonymous to her brand name as a celebrity.

  27. Joke is down to earth and very natural. She would munch her tapioca(Abacha in Igbo language) while walking along the street. She is naturally beautiful too. The husband is very disciplined. He never had time to look at the hot chicks that used to parade the street then. They are good soul mates. I respect them a lot.Rose
