Jesus was speaking to the Crowd in John 6:26 you re not here because you want to hear the true words of God rather you re here because you want to eat bread.
Many of us today are holding unto things that have no eternal value. Chasing after things of the world the pomp and vanity of this wicked world, riches, possessions which we will never be contained with as ex rayed in Ecclesiastes 5:10 (Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.) Etc Forgetting that which is of great essence .
Jesus looked at all this things and saw that there was no true life in them so he said in John 6:27 (Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.") That is all there is to life.
Have you accepted to Eat the food that endures to eternal life.
Jesus is the Bread of life He that Eats of this bread will hunger no more.
Begin to prayerfully take a decision today not to focus on the vain things of this life.
Today is St. Valentine's day many of us will leave the true essence of what it represents to chase after things that perish there - in.
All is vanity as Solomon rightly pointed Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. Ecc 12:13. Thank you... Enjoy the rest of your day...

I'm fighting hard not to lay an ever lasting course on the wicked man, who brought I and my child all the pains of emotional wreck and homelessness! Before the moon and star, I will speak the word! And I know the word of God is life, i m so broken, i m so bitter, i m so sad, I need some one I can pour my heart to and be free a bit, I need to pour out my depression! My tears are drying up, my innocence baby is feeling my pains, as she weep each time I do! I need a councillor! I need help! I need someone to talk to, im loosing my mind, Good, please where are you, I don't want to think suicide because my baby is so precious to me, I'm afraid, no one can take care of her the way I would want to, and to think that no man is worth my life,but the grace of God is all I need, im so broken, #tear. ReplyDeleteWhile you celebrate Valentine's day today, please remember those who have been badly hurt over the years by the people they loved dearly and trusted deeply. Remember those who were mistreated while growing up, and had to struggle through life without much love and support even from the ones they called family. They were only able to make it through life by the grace of God. The only love they have ever known is the love of their spouses whom God graciously decided to compensate them with...and for the very first time in their lives, they felt loved. Please pause and say a prayer for these people. They need to heal and let go. Happy Valentine's Day!
