A building at Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi was razed by fire yesterday afternoon.
According to an eyewitness who posted it on twitter, he said firemen came almost too late.
I sincerely hope that there were no casualties!
The way electric wires are hanging all over is scary!

Hope no life was lost. Fire service always getting in very late. Dolphin on its own should have a fire service station situated in the estate there.God help us with all these fire incidents.
ReplyDeleteSwear down Stella you never see anything. Last time I was in Nigeria, you needed to see live high voltage wire causing sparks at the entrance to the market in Ogudu, Lagos. It was even during raining season and with every spark, the light in surrounding buildings fluctuated. It was like that for 2 whole weeks during my stay. Imagine if that wire fell on someone...
ReplyDeleteAm sure is this heat that is sparking those high tension, hope no live was lost.
ReplyDeleteMy friends sister flat, lost every thing. Thank God she and her daughter were cool.
