Whats that noise?

PROBLEM ONE
SNORING

Please doctors in the house, how do i get rid of my husbands snoring?its driving me crazy and i always have to leave the room for him to another room.
My inability to tolerate his LOUD snoring is causing a crack in my marriage.

Is this a medical condition?is it the food he eats?he likes to eat late but i have reduced it .
Even changing his sleeping position accelerates the gear of his snoring...

is there something i can do to help this situation?

Doctors please help!

Snoring is very irritating. He should exercise more and stop taking alcohol. Once he starts snoring again, then my dear do the needful. Pinch the hell outta his ass, when he asks tell him it's probably a mosquito lol. Do this for 7days you'll go to church and give a testimony!!!

When they start the early morning prayer after a while you will not hear the prayers again. Make up your mind that it will not matter to you and it will not.

  47. My dear you're not alone on this. My hubby can snore for Africa. And to make matters worse, he likes cuddling me while sleeping and the whole noise goes straight to my very ear closer to his nose. I keep pushing him from time to time to change position and sometimes he wakes up on the process and leaves the bedroom for another room. But ever since I got pregnant, the competition is now real. Imagine him complaining that my snores rob him of sleep. My dear just deal with it. It's part of the package that comes with marriage.

  53. You both should start eating clean and add exercises to your daily routine. You will see a big difference. *all the best*

    ReplyDelete
  54. There are several reasons people snore , and some precipitating factors that aids snoring , knowing exactly what triggers his snoring, is a step to helping him curb it.
    1) is he fat/obese
    2) does his have any nasal infections? Like nasal sinusitis or nasal polyps?
    3) his sleeping position? How does he sleep
    4) does he have and respiratory disorder like asthma?
5)is he into chronic smoking/ alcoholism
    6) does he have obstructive sleep apnea ?

If one of the above is the cause, find out and treat accordingly .
Convince him to go and see a doctor to rule out the medical conditions above.
    All the best.

  57. Am a girl of 21 and since I knew myself, ve been a snorer..believe me as a 'victim' is itz embarrassing n can be quite challenging..I avoided sleep overs and when I cudnt I was laffed at..dodged bording school buh when I had to go finally I was tagged 'snr snorer'... it gave me great low self esteem and as a result I had regular insomnia because I consciously sleep after others sleep.. mine was a result of inflamed tonsils which I had to cut off but had to live with the snoring... it can be as a result of different factors..the tongue blocking the airways, crooked teeth, obesity etc (ve done lots of research)..spent a lot trying to get anti-snoring aids the truth about those things is that is a total waste of money..it may reduce it but definitely not 100 percent effective.. ve tried to love myself and with help of my family and friends who now understands I don't bother abt it anymore.. a surgery may take it away but y will I subject my self to d probability of life n death just to fit in...
A lot of girls r snorers' so y ll I kill myself if am amongst d lot...
Sweet, he is ur husband... u probably knew he snores before getting into it (new age marriage) deal wif it! and do not love him less.. if he is fat make him exercise or try getting him aids (if it ll make you feel better) don't allow a non -issue crash ur home...mdere r worse case scenarios.... #my advice/ story #kisses

For dose who asked y i got married to him when i know he snorted.....well i neva slept ova at his place even for a night so aw am i supposed to know???
We sleep in separate rooms though but am pregnant now and its telling on me.
He also doesn't like it when i wake him or tap him to adjust himself while sleeping, infact it has caused quarrels severally so dts y i decide to sleep in another room.
I rili want to help him solve this snoring issue but its like he doesn't want my help sef

For d bv dat talked about d anti-snore clip :I bought d tin ooo from dealdey e no dey work abeg, even me dat doesn't snore it falls off my nostrils wen i put it on.

I won't say my husband is fat but a bit bodied but has lil tummy. He doesn't drink or smoke .

    Thanks y'all for d concern

  63. You just have to cope with it. I won't advise you leave the bedroom as this may cause a rift in your marriage; I am totally against couples having separate beds. My hubby snores too but when he started exercising more frequently it reduced. You can get ear plugs also.
