ReplyDeleteTo imagine how these so called political godfathers say in the affirmative that their candidate would be this or that because they have promised him so...and because they have a circle of godsons waiting in line to be rewarded with a political office. SMH
No one talks about individual merits or demerits again. No one is interested in the choice of the people. Politics is now a do or die affair and is being managed like a family inheritance.
Did anyone listen to Asari when he spewed venom about Buhari being a Fulani, and how he will never be president ...unless it happens over his (Asari's) dead body?
He's calling for war, as was implied in his clip. He said that Nigeria will split if Buhari is made president. So you see Stella, there's more to this election than meets the ordinary eye.
One can't but wonder whether the passion expressed by these men is for the sake and benefit of the citizenry, or whether it's for their selfish interests. Of course the latter is the case. Aren't we in for a show come 14th February??
This is the most crucial and the most dramatic election in the history of Nigeria.
