Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon - Red Carpet Pics


Lupita Nyong’o,  Oprah Winfrey, Uzo Aduba, John Legend, David Oyelowo and many others were present at the Essence Magazine's 8th annual 'Black Women In Hollywood' luncheon at Beverly Hills yesterday.

Highlights of the event:

Oprah Winfrey paid a tribute to Maya Angelou. 

Lupita Nyong’o presented Vanguard Award to the cast of 'Orange Is The New Black'.




Teyonah Paris slayed in her green suit and updo hair.


David Oyelowo took his little daughter to the event and carried her to the stage when called upon to present an award.

Regina King got Fierce And Fearless Award while Gugu Mbatha-Raw got the Breakthrough Award

  32. See my handsome David Oyelowo and his cute daughter. I still remember it was in Blood and oil I first watched him. He is a good orator that's why he handled the Martin Luther character perfectly in Selma. America and race issues...sometimes to fit in, u have to marry oyibo. His wife na oyibo...oh well, i still like am.lol
