Asari Dokubo Invited By DSS Over inflammatory Statement

The Department of State Services (DSS), said on Thursday that it had invited Mr Asari Dokubo, an ex-Niger Delta militant, several times over recent inflammatory statements credited to him.

The spokeswoman of the DSS, Marilyn Ogar, said this on Thursday while responding to a question at a news conference organised by the National Information Centre.

“First of all, whatever is the operational procedures that we take after we have issued out warnings, we do not make them public.
“And I want you to recollect that Asari Dokubo has been brought into the office – DSS, a couple of times.

“It is not in the position of the office to begin to tell you who has been brought in or who has not been brought in.

“We still stand by our words that whoever in any way would want to interfere or interrupt the peace that prevails, he or she would definitely be dealt with,’’ Ogar said. Report by (NAN)

  5. I was waiting for this. So it had to take TY Danjuma calling for his arrest before DSS can do their job. I hail the DSS for this. Asari has nothing to loose if Nigeria goes up in flames after all his investments are in Cotonou that's why he has the guts to make inflammatory remarks on the elections. God punish the devils who want to torment trouble in Nigeria

  6. I dare anybody to make such statements in support of the opposition. Such a person would already be in detention, with pictures all over the Internet and newspapers. Now that it is a PDP thug, it is no longer our business how u conduct ur investigations. Partisan and unprofessional jokers.

  22. He has been Invited for coffee once more because no one can arrest/ prosecute him for his inflammatory statement. Well he's untouchable and his president can't do jack. Most of them are inviting the military with reckless statement they dish out. The mumu want to fight war like he can carry gun or even run 100meters. Who will fight the war for him? same boys he abandoned years ago. I don't think any sensible human will even allow him to lead as commander in any war.

  23. shameless woman, you think you are talking to babies. how does invite translate into prosecution?
