ACCIDENT VICTIM SENDS IN APPRECIATION

Stella and fellow BVs I don't know where to start from, but I to just

want to say thank you to all of you. You posted my story last week in

the IHN segment about the woman that had an accident together with her

baby, God has really used everybody on this blog to help me, total

strangers brought smile to my face again.

My only prayer for you Stella is that God will continue to lift you

higher and higher above your enemies, you and your family will always

enjoy God's protection all the days of your life in Jesus name.

And to all my fellow BVs, (you all said I should not mention your

names) you helped me without knowing me, all through the days of your

life you will never lack divine helpers in Jesus name, and the angel

of the Lord will keep you and your families in all your ways in Jesus

name(amen)

Ps - Stella please be expecting another mail from me, cos I told God

that I will share my testimony on this blog the day am able to walk

TESTIMONY OF LIFE

Dear stella God will continue to bless you for all your good work, blessing people's life. I need to share my testimony, throughout the xmas I prayed to get lucky with the xmas giveaway truthfully it didn't come and I told God I want to bless someone in a big way someday in this blog.stella God surely answers prayers no matter how small, the past year has been easy for my new baby and my mum,am sure you will remember my many emails .

Anyway December I went to buy fairly used clothes for my baby and I decided to wear one of them for her yesterday, the gown had a small pocket and I said let me see what is inside, it was 50 euro!!!.

Stella I didn't believe my eyes becos I asked God how will I sustain myself this January with my baby and my mum since I was abandoned by my husband since I gave birth. I changed it to Nigeria money N10,500 naira.....wow just like that!

 I cried and appreciated God for blessing me through my daughter's fairly used cloth.so I told myself I will pay my tithe with Richard cards to my fellow BV. please help me manage ooo ....at all at all na him bad pass.i pray someday I will do something bigger.

 Please my fellow BVs family help me pray for my mum for good health and long life becos against all odds and disappointment she stood by me.

Hi Stella, I pray for God to continue to support you even as you've become a source of support. May you not lack any good thing. 

I sent a mail which you posted about my stepmom who was trying to force my dad to will his house to her. After much prayers and consultation with some legal practitioners,we decided to give her the house as a Gift however, not to her knowledge.But with God's intervention,she got back to her senses and has told my dad to forget about it. But we'll still thread with caution as we're not sure what triggered her actions.

Good day Stella, I wan do small amebo abi na observation sef. I just jejely go market go buy something to cook, immediately na so one white man weh dey like person weh wan die with him white long hair and round Chinese-like face, I guess say him be oyibo but him resemble Naija albino, our own Ramsey Noah sef make sense pass am. 

Immediately him pass I see two police men follow am with gun (I no even know weda na soldier abi police cos both of dem wear different uniform). As dem pass, na so I look the oyibo again to make sure say na him dem follow with those type of gun weh my grandpapa bin dey use hunt. Omoh! To my humble amazement na the oyibo dem follow o!

 I shake head first, I come remember the people weh dem kill for Baga last week,our Chibok girls weh dey BH custody for months now, and so many oda katakata weh dey happen for North side due to insecurity. I just reason say if to say we dey get a pinch of the security weh dis oyibo weh I just see get now, many tins for no dey happen. As a confam Naija person and a correct SDK BV, I come tell myself say dis small amebo no go pass me by, but before I think of to do amebo for here dem don dey already move, na dat time my stupid fon (e no too stupid sha) know say e go delay to take pictures weh I go send una.

 I fear to take the picture o,make dem no shot me troway for the small river weh dey near the market (una know say nobody go send for dat one) becos I dey snap dem picture to  send sumwhere. I for like una to see their faces well o wit the oyibo but I gats run for my life .. Ehen, before I forget na meat dem buy from the market o, dat butcher go don cheat the man sha. Lol

So my act of kindness today almost got me being perceived as a "Possible Kidnapper"... My Gosh, I think I will limit my goodwill to familiar people.

Dear Stella, this will be my first Amebo email to you and I believe you will find it interesting, as this happened to my mum and I, today (Tuesday 13th January 2015). Again thank you for the wonderful platform you have created, bridging the gap between the have and the have nots in our society, may the almighty God continue to amaze you and the givers on this blog with abundance and happiness.

My Story:

Mum and I had an eventful drive to one of the local markets here in Benin city (New Benin) , Mum had some shopping errands to run - she is preparing for my younger sisters nuptial and I was the designated driver. She (Mum) had more rounds to make and so I decided to wait for her at a shoe shop whilst she finished her rounds. 

In this particular shop was a bride-to-be trying to negotiate a fair price for a blue shoe and bag she wanted for her Nikar (she is Muslim from her hijab) the seller wouldn't budge on his final offer and the young lady, explained that she had a few other items to buy to make her big day special.

I decided to intervene, told her I had a blue hand fan she might like in order to help her so she can afford the shoe, I even showed her a photo of the hand fan, her female friend who was with her liked the fan. 

My mum returned from her rounds and it was time to leave..., we were almost out of the shop when they ( the girls) stopped me and showed interest, I asked " are you familiar with this route?- describing my house address " they replied no - but you will direct us on how to get transportation back to town, I said okay. I then made a call to my younger sister who was home to help retrieve the hand fan from where it was "occupying space" and clean up for we were on our way to pick it up. Which she did!!

I then walked to where my car was parked, turned and saw one of the girls behind me, I enquired about her companion (friend) and she said, it was better her friend pick up the last of their item whilst she followed me to pick up the hand fan., I didn't object. 

To cut this story short- with mum in front, the girl behind and me on d driver seat, we made our way towards my residence... Just as we were on course, I asked her " are you familiar with this route"? She answered on the affirmative, mum was irritated by my question but I wanted to be sure the girl was okay,. 

8 mins later, I noticed the passenger door making a funny noise, like someone was trying to open it, I turned and the next thing outta this girls mouth was : " Aunty, I beg stop the car, I want to be let out, aunty, "na God I used take beg you, stop the car" I beg, I no wan go again " she was shaking and almost at the point of tears and forcefully attempting at alighting from a moving vehicle . I had to stop the car, and my mum was in shock, tryin to convince her she was safe and we are not bad people . I quickly told my mum to ring my sister to bring the hand fan to where we were since the girl was no longer comfortable or should I say felt safe with us. My sister agreed. The girl still scared said "aunty, I go prefer to stay outside," so I unlocked my car doors for her , boy she ran out as fast as her shaky legs could carry her. 

Couple minutes latter, my sister came to our location with the hand fan and the girl dropped to her knees apologizing that she was sorry, for not trusting us... My mum was besides her self with laughter , I on the other hand was too numb to react, I basically gave the girl my phone number after giving her description on how to get back to her destination, for her to call me. 

She did call, and only then was I able to breath easy. 

Lesson of the Day: Be careful even when you are trying to offer help to people...... Nigeria and Nigerians are no longer trusting of people. And I can't blame them. I won't be forgetting this experience anytime soon!!!! Shalom peps

RELOCATION ISSUES

Good day sweet stella. You have been a source of hope for so many pple u cnt imagine. Am an ardent fan of ur blog. Stella I ve a major issue, I lost two pregnancies in 2014. One at 9 months n anoda at 6 months. A man of God said d issue is from my house, he explained that a woman in the house is manipulating us wit witchcraft. Stella dis woman actually confronted me after the first stillbirth, so I confirmed it. We have been asked by our pastor to leave the house to disconnect from her. Things are quite tight for my husband right now and our rent currently still has 7 months to elapse. Am really unhappy in this house, i went through a lot after loosing these kids.The second loss was 3 weeks ago. Am pleading with any kind blog visitor who has a 2 bedroom around ikota to ajah area, where we wont have to pay for agency or agreement with a fair rent to please reach me through this email chizoma2000@gmail.com

We've made up our mind to give our relationship all our best,  while will cling on Gods sufficient grace to fulfill his will in our lives. I LOVE HER

this morning on my way to work,i dey inside bus heading to oshodi,as we reach TREM bustop,the danfo driver come notice say hold up dey small for anthony bridge and he dey try switch from service lane to the express (illegal move) by climbing the pavement,as em dey climb,the bus pulled back and the car behind no dey patient,nah so the danfo hit/scratch the car. the car owner look danfo driver dey expect am to beg,danfo driver say no be em fault ooo,nah so the guy come down from em car (leaving his kids inside d car). the car owner fine no be small,the bobo wear blue short,sky blue shirt and nice flat shoe(abi nah modeling the man wan go do for em children school).

 Back to the gist,nah so the man dey ask danfo driver how far nah... danfo driver no just try,naso e com dey shout for the man,the mr tush guy grab danfo man phone from the bus dash board,quickly enter em car and drive off ooo. before danfo man pack well,the man lane don move,na so the tush guy dissappear by speeding off ,no trace. danfo man wan die,na so the guy rant so tay...we advice am make em call em number beg the tush guy,the danfo driver say lai lai...over em dead body,say no matter how long e go take 2 meet that tush guy again,say em go do am wonders and destroy em car. 

So mr tush guy,if you be an ardent reader of Stella's blog,abeg watch your back and i have a question,who una go blame between the danfo driver and the tush guy? olofofo... no be my hobby ooo,love you all.

Wedge Shoe Giveaway/BV "Blackberry" snoop to locate free skill acquisition office

Shout out to you Stella, SDK Blog and all BV’s. I applied for the wedge shoe giveaway of December. It was fun playing the giveaway. It was like lottery. All I said was “It’s my shoe, how do I get it”? Immediately, I got a response that I should add her on whatsapp. I did and she called to say “funny woman, come for your shoe”. We chat once a while and I keep promising I will come for the pickup. Along the line, some smart guys stole my phone. I lost her contact but we reconnected back thru my sent mails.

 Did I mention ur BV’s can snoop for life? They don’t only snoop their Spouses o. she was in my office uninvited for the free skill acquisition that was posted by BVs invited. She snoop the internet and got my office details. Wow! What a woman with determination! She got her way with the Security Officer to see my Boss and my Boss redirected her to my office that she starts immediately due to her zeal. But as a fellow BV I perceived SDK. Her stories of coming across our NGO on the net to my Boss didn’t add up to me. When we got to my office, I said, o girl, u got the info on SDK. The babe, burst laugh. Ok, as a family, I granted her wish immediately.  

 A day later we got chatting and I asked her if she was interested in a skill acquisition. She enquire where my office was, immediately I mentioned GRA, she asked “Are you Tina”? I said yes. She bust laff. So u were the one who attended to me yesterday!  I was shocked. What a World! Na so I tell her oya waka come with my shoe o. She was here yesterday to personally deliver this sexy shoe. She said she received lots of mails but she chose me becos I didn’t make up stories and she decided to give to a sincere person who can afford it and not some cook-up lies. LADIES BE CAREFUL - FEMALE BLOG VISITOR WARNS

my dear Stella, ladies have to be very careful oooo. 

I have known this friend for a while though we have really not had time for sit outs

I have been very busy of late and all efforts for us to meet were futile. 

he called me up on my way home from work, and I told him I was on my way home. he asked for us to see, I agreed to wait for him to come pick me up. when he came we made to leave , I asked him where we are headed to, he said to know his place, I was like okay, but you will have to show me the place I wont go in with you.

my dear, the dude started talking stories that were unnecessary.. trying to avoid my questions. I noticed a sensation, like I was horny and not in control of my mind... I kept my cool and watched how things will unfold. 

in 5 minutes, he drove into an old hotel, I asked him what's happening there, he said that's where he lives, I told him, im not going in with you, he was like why? I said, I do not like the aura of this place.. 

he gave me his laptop bag to carry. I noticed some guys there,  but didn't  want to act like I was scared. 

I immediately told him I wanted to buy airtime, he told me they sell airtime inside the hotel, I followed him into the reception, he tried all means to rope me into the hotel. I dropped his laptop bag, as I made out to leave I asked the men outside to show where I can buy stuffs, they asked me to go outside, my dear na so I use run leave the place.

As I was leaving, I felt like I was loosing my senses, my dear, I summoned courage, and was walking as fast as my legs could carry me.

I recalled, the first time he visited me at my pals house, immediately he left, I almost died. I sent him an SmS letting him know my health changed immediately he left and it is a bad sign.

An Unclaimed IHN giveaway and a vacancy
