University Of Lagos Back Gate Was On Fire This Morning...

There was serious fire at Iwaya Yaba (Unilag back gate) this morning and it took the fire service one hour to get there and when they did arrive,their tanks were empty!























I do not have any info if anyone was hurt or not.

  4. What's the purpose of the firefighters if they'll be coming wit empty trucks?! Are they gonna blow out the fire with their mouths?! This is the harmattan season and fire breakouts like this should be anticipated and prepared for everytime

    1. I don't think its unliag 2nd gate. Because I was there as early as7am this morning to drop my kids in school. Maybe its another place not Unilag back gate. Am sure of that

    This is the worst time for anything(or anyone) to be set on fire or spontaneously catch fire.

    Because this harmattan has the tendency to give the phrase 'spread like wildfire' a new meaning.

To what do we owe this nonchalant and careless attitude on the part of the fire service men?? It's so pathetic and painful. I just hope the students and people around give them a thorough beating.
