Good morning! Here are things you need to know this morning:according to dailypostng.com
The alleged mastermind of the Nyanya bomb attack, Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche has challenged his ‘illegal’ detention without trials. The ex-soldier is, therefore, demanding a whooping sum of N100m as compensation over detention by the Department of State Services (DSS).
His request is coming barely one week after he was discharged by an Abuja court.
Ogwuche made this prayer through his counsel, Ahmed Raji (SAN) with an application pursuant to Order 2, Rule (1),(2),(3) of the Fundamental Enforcement Procedure rule and Sections 34,35,36,37 and 42 of the 1999 Constitution seeking for the enforcement of his fundamental human right.Joined as defendants are the DSS and the Attorney General of the Federation AGF. But, the court struck out AGF’s name, on the request of the applicant.
Counsel to Ogwuchen further submitted that it was based on the request of the Federal Government that the Interpol placed a red alert on the applicant contrary to the impression that it was the interpol who did so.
He said the charge was the foundation of the extradition order which led to the arrest of the applicantt. However, he contended that further detention of the complainant in the SSS custody without arraignment was illegal and pre-judicial.culled from dailypost

DeleteDunno what to say...but if this guy is guilty, he'll surely go the way of his predecessors.
DeleteAbsolute fuckery. I took time to study the Genesis of this guy's extradition which was with overwhelming evidence. Now a bargain has been reached they say he was never a suspect of the bombing? Boi let me leave this area.... bye

Buhahaha! Stella why the opening of eyes? You no know say Na 9ja we dey? My sister advised that every one should get International passport because the rate we're going in this country, any small sign everyone can start running to Ghana. We're not serious in this country. People are dying on a daily basis and our leaders are talking nonsense.
ReplyDeleteHeard Boko Haramites are now so bold that they actually drove into Gombe yesterday in hilux trucks
Where is the 1billion dollar loan we collected to fight them?
Its God that'll save us in this country
Adaorah! Even GH would start closing border when 2015 is getting close cos the rate of people that would run to GH ehn!
Delete@Tolu Mzt Maybe we should start running now then. Lol!
DeleteOMAR BANGURA from Sierra Leone has this to tell Nigerians:"I don't think you guys know what you are playing with. You can call each other names and laugh about it now but when you end up inciting hate here as I read through your posts here and a real civil war start in your country you will regret what you are doing now. Your religious and political leaders are trying to divide you between religious lines and you are helping them do that rather than standing up and say we are all Nigerians never mind our tribe, region or religion. That's the only stand that will save your blessed nation. The foreign powers pushing the government to take certain decisions will abandon you when you start killing each other and reject you from running to their countries so be careful. Our 11 years war in Sierra Leone was not even based on religious or tribal difference and see what we did to our country. The worst conflicts are those based on tribal and religious differences. See Central Africa, Bosnia. My heart bleeds when I read what you guys are saying bcos I know what this will lead to. You will be the losers; all of you whether Christian, Muslim, ibo, yoruba or hausa stand as one and save your nation together bcos you have only one Nigerian that has the potential to lead Africa. PLEASE HELP SAVE NIGERIA AND SHARE.

ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahaha!
DeleteNo be small thing ooh my brother!
They must to pay ni!
But wait oooh!
What's dis country turning into?
Innocent people rot in jail while the worse criminals walk free and even demand compensation
What other evidence is needed to look the animal up for life?
God is the greatest judge and those innocent bloods shed will sure cry!
FG just playing with citizens lives, really I have not seen the basis of them releasing this guy, so who bombed Nyanyan?!
ReplyDeleteAnd why was it the Sudan interpol that delivered this guy to Nigeria?!
I know there won't be answers but FG and boko keep shedding innocent bloods o
My dear it's not even a question of who bombed Nyanya, so it won't seem like he's being scapegoated.. it would have been better if they didn't arrest him at all, at least it won't be a new thing that no one gets arrested for heinous crimes committed in Nigeria. But this guy was actually picked up with leading evidences that are pointers to the fact that he had a hand in it. He even boasted about how unrepentant he was and how he loved to kill. All are scripted o, I didn't make this up. But now he's a free man. Lol. SMH

DeleteWhat!!! On this our country?
ReplyDeleteI don't blame him, its the police and SSS with their unseriousness and unhealthy rivalry that gave him the guts. Maybe this will set their brains to default, nonsense.

ReplyDeleteimagine that. Naija, what is happening?
ReplyDeleteNigeria, a nation where anything goes. This is so sad and annoying!

ReplyDeleteGood one! What do u expect when a criminal of that nature is set free...
ReplyDeleteWhere are the GEJ voltrons.
ReplyDeleteGEJ 2015
He couldn't even get this right? How is it possible that they let him walk even tho there were some evidence ? Nigeria isn't even heading the right way at all. Lord spare our lives
I always had a feeling that this guy was arrested without any real evidence. Our security forces, especially under this govt, love to play to the gallery. Now we all presumed his guilt based on sentiment. He has done the right thing by suing.
