Imo Deputy Governor Visits The Amuzi Spring Water‏ Of Life!

On Saturday, the 20th of Dec, 2014, the deputy governor of Imo state, His Excellency Prince Eze Madumere, undertook a personal expeditory mission to Amuzi Spring Water to meet interact with the nature nature, make a personal enquiry into its rich history and weigh its value to the people and the State in general.

It was a surprise and quiet visit to the Umulowu community in Obowo to have a firsthand experience and personal report of the legendary spring water source which has been in silent existence for over a century according to community sources.

The legendary Amuzi spring water source which is legendarily called “the Iyi Ishi Ehi” or “Iyi Azu Ulo Okporo” is credited as the source of the longevity enjoyed by the people of the surrounding communities who drink from the water source for centuries. The oldest man that died in the community died at the age of 135 years, and the average die at 80 or 90 years.

This angle of history was made available to the deputy governor and his expedition entourage by a renowned leader of the community, Hon. Chief Innocent Okporo whose father’s house, Late Chief Lawrence Okpokoro, sits at about 200 feet above the water mouth.

Hon. Okporo is the Government Liason Officer of Amuzi and former SA Security to Gov. Rochas Okorocha. He is the current chairman of Board of Directors, Imo Development Finance and Investment Company Limited.

*LMAO!

  3. Visiting dirty spring water in the village is now an achievement I guess. This is the way for him to show his stewardship the past years right? is ok God dey. All this owerri big belly politicians with afor beer has got misplaced priorities.
Ain't buying this nonsense from people who call themselves young leaders. He should show us things he did for his community the past 2years not spring water visit or stop over road greeting of villagers. The post should be under Saturday or Sunday laugh.

  24. This chronic homosexual that went and married one young girl last year.
His first wife left him cos of the twist in his sexuality.
How Adaego Nosiri, a girl that went to a nice secondary school like FGGC Owerri and studied law, can agree to marry this old, dirt homosexual beats me.
Na wa. Anyway, she's now a magistrate and so, I guess there are perks to turning a blind eye to the glaring obvious.

    1. Ha ha ha haaahaa. A few months late. Just seeing this. My thoughts exactly. Went to the uni with her. She was one of dem university born againnns and all (with a very hussling mum anyway, so I am not so surprised). She had the nerves to do what the "bad eggs" like us won't dare in a million year . Another woman's hubby. Kudos girl. Aside the money perks, I honestly believed she could have done better. What a lovely girl. What a mixed up story on this man though.
