Hausa Millionaire’s Wife Takes Him To Court For Infecting Her With HIV

Millionaire, Mansur Musa has been dragged before a Kano Shariah court for infesting his wife with HIV.

The estranged wife who is suing for divorce is also asking the court for N40 million damages. When the case came up a few days ago counsel to the applicant, Barrister Bashir Dalhatu rejected the sum of N2 million damages offered from the accused.

It would be recalled that, Mansur Musa Nyanya, was dragged to Upper Shariah court sitting at Sabon Gari, Kano State, by his wife, for allegedly infecting her with the deadly virus, early this year.

The case was however transferred to Upper Shariah Court, sitting at Kasuwar Kurmi, Kano, for continuation of the trial. During the penultimate proceedings in court, the defense counsel, Aminu Muhammad Usman, offered to enter into reconciliation by both parties so that the issue could be settled out of court, a move that was accepted by the complainant through her lawyer.

    1. Not sure, but I think u are a guy that sleeps around or a very short sighted man or woman. For the accused to be willing to settle out of court, shows that he's probably a bit guilty. Just saying. HIV is real and in most cases it is a life sentence so please be wise

  35. chei ya! I hope hajiya gets her millions at the end of the day because her life is ruined. No man would want to marry her because of her Hiv status except the man truely loves her or he wants something from her.If she gets her millions, she should just relocate and start afresh.Being hiv positive isnt the end of one's life but hers is now obvious because she wants to be settled.

  37. This is sad ooo. N40 million will not cure the disease but it will give her a chance to take better care of herself n possibly stay healthy. Omase oo!

    ReplyDelete
  38. The kind of mentality some people have though...smh

You keep asking if 40 million will cure her if HIV? Is that the issue?

it is called damages!!! Reparation!!! And yes, sometimes, the law requires it to be punitive!!

For someone to knowingly infect another with a deadly disease is tantamount to causing willful grievous bodily harm and in the case of HIV, can even be expressed as 'murder' because it will eventually lead to that person's death....

And such behavior deserves to be punished by the state and compensation given to the injured ..

And yes, having that amount of money can keep her alive for a long long time and even give her a chance to keep something for her children....

I wish more women can do this...at least, these evil men would use condoms with their girlfriends cos they know is they catch, the whole world would know their story....

    ReplyDelete
  39. oh Lord!what a reward for faithfulness.the money will not cure her of the illness but at least magic Johnson and that south African lady who contracted HIV in 1980 are still alive and kicking.its now a lifestyle disease like diabetes and hypertension.i hope she wins the case.
