How do you spot someone with Hepatitis? Are there any tell tale signs?

Hepatitis B Health Advice

Stella o boy see wetin i see yesterday,  Thank God for men like Rochas Okorocha in Nigeria. Yesterday in my office we were educated about hepatitis B and C and how it can be detected, advantage of the vaccine and how it can be transmitted thru sex, even if we use a condom.

They stated that a condom can expire  even when you wear it and the oil dries up the condom has expired. When having sex the condom has to be changed every 5mins so as to fully prevent the ourselves from the virus. Centre for disease and aids control Abuja.

Hepatitis can be transmitted through sweat and sharing of towels needles earmuffs in the salon. For the guys sweat through the protective  cloth used in the barging salon.
They told us that a bottle of beer has 16cubes of sugar, and it's advisable to avoid toxic drinks and if we take at all, we should drink water. That our body need 2 liters of water to function in a day.

They stated that alcohol and shekpe are bad for the body and with time they destroy the liver. Hepatitis c has no cure and goes undetectable and the only solution is a liver transplant.
Then hepatitis is basically a disease the drastically affects the liver. This was due to my own little assimilation, if people want to know more about the disease they should go to a government health facility to get treatment and vaccine, the vaccine is free in all government facilities.

Then it was stated that if you are O positive, the vaccine expires in 10years in your body. Then other groups is 15years. Then they stated the fact that if you have taken the vaccine previously but have forgotten the time taken, you need to carry out a test to determine your status and the test is N22k.

Thank God for Imo state government the test was free for us because we invited them to our organization and i was negative so I am off to a government organisations to take my vaccine.... Ha I don tire to type, have  a nice day Stella

Hepatitis C can be transmitted through the sweat of an infected person. Sharing of towels, needles, and earmuffs in the salon, are how some people got infected with hepetitis C virus. For the guys sweat through the clippers, combs and protective cloth used in the barbing salon. So please when you are going to the beautician please personalize all items you will use there.

They told us that a bottle of beer has 16cubes of sugar, and it's advisable to avoid toxic drinks and if we take at all, we should consume water after such toxic intake. That our body needs 2 liters of water to properly function in a day, and we should stop substituting soft drinks as water.

  24. They also stated that you need to first carry out the test before taking the vaccine, because if you take the vaccine and the previous shot has not expired in your body, you can slum once sunlight touches you. Then if you already have the infection and you take the vaccine, massive rash will appear on your body and you will itch uncontrollably, like when there is too much chlorine in a swimming pool.

  25. Nice that people are getting enlightened. I am Hepatitis B positive. I got to know about 3 years ago and it was as if an AIDS sentence was passed on me. I was so devastated. Hubby was negative and we have speculations it was the surgery I did months before that exposed me to it. Hubby is vaccinated, I take Livolin Fort to boost my liver. My viral load is very low thankfully so all I do every year is to test my viral load to be sure it is still below range. I would advise everyone to go check themselves out. Good thing is there are ways to prevent transmission to an unborn child.

    1. Omg I am so sorry to hear that, GlMay God perfect your health in Jesus name. Please I think B can be treated that's what they said. It's Hepatitis C that has no cure. They said you will go thru series of treatment to help cure hepatitis B even if it is Acute hepatitis B or Minor hepatitis B.

    4. Nilly baby stop spreading this false information! Acute hepatitis B will go away on its own, it doesn't necessarily need any form of treatment. The hepatitis that remains after the first stage of jaundice, loss of appetite, etc is chronic. Chronic hepatitis need to be treated not acute. Just stop this rubbish info you're passing. Please! Yes! I know what I'm talking about, I worked with patients with cases like this. Just stop!!!

    6. Thanks everyone for all the prayers. It is acute not chronic. I wasn't having any symptoms o. It was just some routine office check that made us know. Although I have had a swollen face and feet episode that the doctor attributed to increase in total protein and albumin but since then I think I have been okay

  34. Firstly, I am not a doctor! I had a friend who died of Hepatitis B and this made me hit the internet. Here, is a quick summary of what I found out about Hepatitis...
Hepatitis refers to viral infections of the liver that are often transmitted sexually among men who have sex with men.
There are different types, but the most common are Hepatitis A,B and C
Hepatitis A is passed between people by a fecal/oral route, i.e. getting poop from an infected person into your mouth such as through rimming (butt licking) or ingesting contaminated food (this can happen when people preparing food do not wash their hands after using the bathroom).Kissing someone with Hepatitis A can also infect you.
Hepatitis B is a type of hepatitis viral infection that is highly contagious and usually contracted through sexual activity with an infected partner or through contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person.
Hepatitis C is more difficult to acquire than other types of hepatitis and is most commonly transmitted through blood to blood contact (such as might happen when sharing needles during injection drug use).
Symptoms of Hepatitis vary, but the most classic of these are
    1.  Jaundice: yellow color in the skin, urine and especially around the whites of the eyes
    2. Loss of appetite
    3. Muscle and joint aches
    4. Fatigue

  37. Let me share my story. I got infected with Hep B last year. After one week of being treated for malaria, I became jaundiced and the doctor decided to test for Heb B and it came out positive. I was treated with nothing, I just ate fruit all through the first 2 weeks of crisis. Well, I cried. I was devastated. After 3 weeks, my eyes cleared. I was well again. I went for the test and it was negative, it was a rare case so the doctor told me. I think it was a miracle. Now I have the Hep B antigen in me and even if I drink a drum full of Hep B positive blood, I can't get infected again. I have one less disease to worry about. Thank Jesus.

  41. Hepatitis B and C has no cure but can be managed if detected early.it is spread mainly by contamination of a persons blood, infected secretions(semen, sweat, saliva) it can also be transmitted from mother to child during child birth.
Initial features are high fever, chills, headache and generalised body pain.
Pain is later felt in the upper right Quadrant of the abdomen, eyes become yellowish and the stool slightly pale.
Some peoeple may not even know they have it until they go for the test. When positive, the person has to stop taking any kind of WINE, be it alcoholic or non alcoholic,nd should not take any herbs(agboo).Poorly treated or severe cases my lead to liver cirrhosis or cancer of the liver.
You can get the vaccine in any health centre.
