Glory to God in the highest, and peace, goodwill to men.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, lets reflect on (Luke 2:7) it says "As she brought her Firstborn Son (Jesus), and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room in the inn"
Our master Jesus who we are celebrating His birth today was born in the city of David, wrapped in swaddling clothes after His birth and was laid in a manger, because there was no place to keep Him, no room to lay master Jesus.
I believe Mary and Joseph checked all the hotels, inns, guest houses around but there was no available room, no hospital. Maybe they turned to neighbours, relatives but there was no room. The only place they could find was a manger.
Today as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who was laid in a manger over 2,000years ago, let us make a room for Him in our hearts, let us invite Him into our lives, let us accept Him as our personal Lord and Saviour and turn to Him in repentance.
The best Christmas you can celebrate is accepting Jesus Christ into your life, He is the reason for the season.
Please you can say this prayer with me and invite Jesus into your life.
Lord Jesus, come into my life, You are my Saviour, Redeemer, Justifier and Peace, as I celebrate Your birth today, I dedicate myself unto You, I make a room for You in my heart, I turn to you in repentance.
Lord Jesus, deliver me from sins and sorrows, show forth in my life, home and family as the anointed Saviour and Deliverer. In Jesus name....... ...Amen
