Lagos - Between Federal Task Force And The Police.

This is Lagos.....Welcome.

Under which law is the "Federal Task Force" operating and administrating traffic on Lagos roads? What sort of illegality is this? Why is the police giving them protection?
is this proper?

*I am confused....

  3. Lagos is full of these thieves called govt agencies! Can't Lagos state govt do something about this? It's so sad how innocent citizens are extorted and exploited here! Even the illegal police check points are beginning to crop up everywhere. It's one thing that the traffic is sickening and we have these thieves harassing people all in the name of 'the law'!

    2. I wonder o. How on earth can one mistakenly find herself on BRT lane? And this lady even had effrontery to say she had to speed so the policeman could jump out of her wrong way. SMH for Lagosians. Most of us do wrong things while driving and do not want to be punished for it. These people are doing their jobs and it's your right not to give them bribes but pay your fines. I just cuffed out 35 thousand naira to VIO for my fine and new licence cos I was stopped and my license had expired since 2010. We are fond of doing wrong things in this country and always want to get away with it. This is what we can never try abroad. Who dares want to hit a police officer abroad, you would so find yourself in prison. This is why we have the incompetent leaders cos we ourselves are wrong.

  14. I drove pass these people around 7up motoway today and they were so helpful, they cleared vehicles. On whether they have the right to operate on roads in Lagos state, they do remember there are some road classified as federal roads

  15. Ahh! They have been destroying the grasses on CMD road in the name of orientation. You just drive past and suddenly you see black uniformed figures doing 'soja come, soja go...left, right'. I keep wondering what they are grooming them for cos they are plenty.

  17. Madam Stella you sit in Germany and ask stupid questions about what you don't know. Do you have any idea the kind of headache lagosians go through in the name if traffic everyday? What's wrong with more hands to ensure free flow of traffic? And yes there are federal government roads in Lagos. So these people have a right to help out. I hate it when Nigerians sit abroad and think they can criticize any and everything that goes on here. Kmt.
